I am fucking heartbroken. My biggest regret is that I was a leech and never gave back. If there ever is a revival I am going to be a beast on these streets.

RIP HB and RIP botanist whom was extremely helpful. I hope HB comes back, went to Wrobot and decided I'd rather be a widow to HB than try to settle with love.

Still remember first time I bought it. Must have been back in 09. Fired it up and set it to collect mines. Went to bed and next morning my bank was full and I was HOLY F... I WANT MORE OF THIS YES.

It might, it won't for long though as they plan to stop supporting tools on Blizzard official servers. Looks like we have to do this shit on our own now

A reminder popped up on my phone today that my 18 month ban is over but with no honorbuddy anymore so i can't really be bothered to play wow anymore. At the time of the ban i'd of thought i would've been jumping onto my computer to play when the ban is up.

Is anyone here playing lately? is it any better or worse than 18 months ago?

ive been here so long i have a few LIFETIME keys... YOU HEAR THAT TONY LIFETIME



just some advice for some of you who may come back
Use TSM4 to make your gold (buy a Wow token and sell it, use that gold to flip)
Use Zygor to make your life as easy as botting
Use Razor Synapse to make a rotation macro

i was a major botter on my server and owned 2/3 of the items listed on server in MOP
i came back right before my ban was over on my like 10th account or more....

merge your alt accounts with your main
my main was banned many times during Mists WOD and Legion
during those times i made alt accounts and got them flying mogs mounts ect

i recently merged my main account with my WOD alt account & Legion alt
i had to resub the alt accounts but if you log into main account and log into every toon on the alt accounts you will unlock everything

my main account now has flying in the the xpacs he was banned during
i have everything my alt accounts had (i really needed flying to level some of these alts)

my advice to all of you who enjoyed bottling
just give it up for now and be a multi boxer

currently have 3 accounts that are pre much all lv 100+ now
i get 3x the loot just roll enchanter on the main pair and enjoy the gold

dont even get me started on how long it takes for my WOD Garrison runs....
easy gold when the bot progressed so many toons in WOD before the bans

the servers AH is way better for sure prices have gone up, sold a blade of wiz for 200k i had like 3 laying around from MOP lol
in mop they sold at 20k avg

If you read the announcement carefully enough bit of a cryptic message that honorbuddy is gone but possibly a replacement is coming.........just wonder when lol

I think the entire community would love for this to be true, with a new re-written code base that caters for the new Warden detection etc, but the reality is that a period of silence this long doesn't bode well.

Certainly, a number of my accounts have just come out of a ban, but the motivation to play them in a new xpac without the ability to bot is beyond low.

@Tony would the team consider a smaller private bot like Unknownbuddy to keep it under wraps and lower potential ban rates?

Yeah, I can’t be bothered to play without honor buddy, really miss it. Would gladly pay 10.00 a month to have it again. It’s a shame that Bossland didn’t just make it open source as a big FU to Blizzard.

Ok I've read through this thread and apparently decision to end development of HB for good was never reached or was not communicated. I know that you @Tony can't give us any definitive answers... But I'm curious if you could tell us this: Has there been any positive movement in planning or development that could lead to maybe_something (like new version or some new thing)

HonorBuddy will never be back, it's a dead duck, but there are other options being worked on if you do some searching around, botting isn't dead, it's just dead here, and pretty sure they closed the HB forums because of other bots leeching the old profiles to convert them.

The following will be sad news, but this is the result of a six years long legal dispute that recently turned into a battlefield for hackers on Blizzard's side.

With that said, our only possible course of action is to discontinue Honorbuddy. Effective today, we will stop all sales for the following products;

Honorbuddy, Lazymon, Buddywing, Hearthbuddy​

The aforementioned services will however remain intact until 31th December 2017 for those that already own a license.

Within the next week we will decide on Rebornbuddy’s and Pokefarmer's future. Demonbuddy, Exilebuddy and the Hashing service will remain on sale for the foreseeable future.

The forums will undergo a change; the store will be closed. A lot of things will change.

It has always been our opinion that Honorbuddy provides no edge, except to empower players with less time than others to enjoy the game like anyone else. Many disagree, not in the least Blizzard, but being able to provide this service to those players has always been a goal of ours, and something we have been happy to do for the past 8 years.

It saddens us to close these services, but the recent advancements from Blizzard's side are only possible because of their decision to compromise the privacy of their players. While WoW runs, the game is continuously scanning the user's computer with the capability to send back exactly which applications the user is running, and in some situations even going as far as sending back window titles of any window on the computer. These things happen even if WoW is running in the background, and even without logging in to a character.

Fighting this war as long as we have is something no one has done before, and no one will do in the future. It is not quite over yet, but we need to adapt to these new circumstances to even stand a chance of continuing in the future.

We hope you understand these changes are not something we do because we want to, but because we have to. We thank you for your continued support.

You're an idiot. You do understand they were in a legal fight with a behemoth spending probably more money than you will make in your lifetime bringing us YEARS of a fun boting experience. I had a lifetime membership too. They did the best they could. The only thing we can hope is that Bossland still has the heart to create another bitting program for another mmo at some point in the future.
