The RareKiller - All in One Killer Plugin with TLPD

Forgot to say. Many thanks to the author - last week I have successfully captured the Time-Lost Proto-dragon!
 
Ok, as I found my TLPD he also said: found a drake called unknown, because he founds him milliseconds after spawn. Thats ok.

Its hard to say what really happens, sadly it's also impossible to teach the bot to let us know what exactly happens.
Was somebody else there who mounts him up quicker? Was the Bot to far away to Mount up? Doesn't work the function interact himself?
I looks like the interact with the Dragon (to mount up) failed for one of the reasons above.
Thats bad, :( back to the drawing table.
I will make some tests with a friend and Viel of Sands and try to found aeonaxx myself to make some tests with him. Sadly this is all I can do.

You could also use this addon to hunt him and maybe help me by telling me exactly what happens if you coincidentally see how he founds the dragon.
And till this is working correctly you could also use this Item as NPC-Scan, because he founds the Dragon, Alerts and also fly to him, so you don't have to seach where he spawns.

Just for your Info: My next steps:
1. Release a little Standalone Plugin to change up to 6 GB2 Profiles every x Minutes.
- I will first realise this as a little Standalone to verify some days if this Version of Rarekiller has some other bugs or if it works stable. Also this feature is very interesting for our Farmers.
2. Beside this make some tests for Aeonaxx. If I found out something I will implement this in a version till end of this week.
3. Make some variable Alerts, so you could choose which sound you wanted the Plugin to play for wisper, guild or Rare Mob. -- Not so high prio, so till end of this week it is implemented.
4. Look at all single 1-60 Rare Mob to blacklist all underground ones of them. ;)
-- If somebody knows a different webpage to wowhead where I can see this info quicker, just gimme a hint :)
5. Implement some Screenshot Options especially for Aeonaxx, maybe I this way we see what happens if the Bot founds Aeonaxx.

Camped the frozen lake almost non stop (when i didnt do arena or play cod) for about 9 days.

I also uploaded a Small flying a Round - Aeonaxx Profile. You could use this in rotation with the Quarzit Base Profile with the Profile Changer and GB2 ;)

PS: I will upload a new Rarekiller in a few hour with some little changes (Screenshots etc, Variable Alert Files)
This Version will take Screens if you found Aeonaxx and also Monitore if sombody else was near Aeonaxx when found him to get a better Info what really happens.
You could also let him make Screens if he found other Rares ;)

Sorry people, I noticed that alarm3 and redalert soundfile don't work with honorboddy.
I uploaded a new Version with the Soundfiles from ShutUp. Thanks to BarryDurex.

Please redownload the Rarekiller again
or just replace the 2 broken Soundfiles with other ones.

Hi - I have a couple questions I was wondering if you could answer: Does the plugin work with older versions of HB/GB (Ie 4129 - damn now I see I should have been using a profile if using this with GB), and when you update the plugins will older versions of it work?

Just wondering what mistakes I'm making; the rarekiller part of it is great and so is the continent change part, but I'm doing something wrong and/or using wrong versions. Left it on while mine-botting in Hyjal, came back this morning and found it stuck against the ceiling near Ashenvale in Eastern Kingdoms :/

Anyhow, thanks again for making this great plugin!
 
continent != area, so i'd say just because you switched zones within the same continent , here kalimdor. The trigger wont go off.

As I see he tried to catch the Mob Blazewing, this Mob is flying very fast, maybe he's getting stuck because of hunting him.
I will take a look at it, if I must remove this Rare from the List.

1.5.1 should work as well, I only implemented some nice Features with 1.6.
Also the Plugin should work with older HB-Versions (especially 4129).

Right, you only get off if you Continent changes, because I thought the Bot could handle flying back if you stay on the same Coninent.

Ima derp. I just took a quick look at the map before disconnecting and thought it was Stranglethorn vale.

Yes, I did stay on the same continent it seems :P
I did encounter blazewing once before on a Paladin using the plugin and watched it - my char couldnt get close enough to attack and if I did get close enough it said I couldnt bc I was mounted. I waited to see if there was a place it would land on the ground or get near the ground, and I think there was, but a mage waiting in that spot pulled it and got it.

Is there a way to disable that mob if you don't have a ranged attack?
 
Oh, you have to check automatically dismount in WOW if you hunt with Rarekiller. Or is there a Problem to use this?
For TLPD and Vyra there is such an option, I think will remove Blazewing or set as just optional.

:) It depends on, what you wanted to do. This Plugin works with every Botbase.

It you want to use it for the Archivements Bloody Rare or Frostbitten or just to slay some extra rare mobs for loot just activate this Plugin in your daylie behavior, maybe while gathering or archaeologie.

If you want to hunt TLPD or Aeonaxx or other special Mobs, it depends on which Profile you use.
The Attached Profiles in the 3rd Thread are all for Gatherbuddy2.

Some important Hints for Dragonhunting:
Don't forget to activate "auto dismount" in WOW and for TLPD you also need the Slowfall part ;)
and you also need flying Mount to hunt Dragons like Aeonaxx and TLPD.

i had similar problem last night using 4129, in uldum mining and bot found argmadello..that rare armadillo looking thing and when i checked the bot it was jittering in the air somewhere else
 
Hmm thats really stange. I didn't implemented a "go anywhere", just fly to mob and aggro.
Could I have the log and the place where your Bot was jittering? And which Version of Rarekiller where you using?
 
Could i also have a log, so I can see if the Plugin noticed him and not killed him or if he just don't noticed him?
What was your Toon doing in Icecrown (Because I deactivated the Plugin when you are on a transport for example)

It also could be that you found him dead (I don't exactly know, but NPCScan also alerts on dead Mobs, I think).
But also this he writes to the Log: "Found xyz but sadly he's dead"

Beside this I will do some Tests, how busy the Plugin is meanwhile.

hey is there a keyword i can search for that determines when the plugin was "active" ? i cant find the exact log where it screwed up in
