This is awesome, thank you. I've just started with HB today and it looks like this will be my exclusive CC.
 
Great Work m8.
Its working great for a 60lvl Rogue in Hellfire. Is it by any way possible to change the combat rotation? My rogue is Combat with both a Dagger in main and Sword offhand and I can pretty much nail every spell he's trying to put but I would certainly like to open with CheapShot since I need some advantage without taking damage as a starter so I wont have to eat after each fight.
I can feedle with the code if you can point me to the lines if its not much trouble. Anyway thanks for this great CC
 
as the last post said about combat, for mut i love the fact i can pull with garrote but theres no hungerforblood after that... any way i can tweek that? i looked at the cc and didnt see anything familiar i can modify, although i am new with cc writing... Other than that i love the cc thanks

Give me the exact spelling of all bleed effect spells and I'll add Hunter for Blood.
 
Working Fine

This is working fine on my rogue ( started level 59, now lvl 63 )
I am using daggers.

Edit:

I saw when I removed my thrown he would stealth ( in your post ).
He won't stealth and warns: 'No thrown equipped' / 'You are too far away'.
Nothing in the log.

I've found a bug causing that. Its been resolved for the next build.
 
I would like to point also that there is no blind on adds and no vanish on low health. In general, if I get 2 adds and dont have full health I die. If I get low on health I don't vanish and even if I do, I just step away for 5 yards and reapear (no damage that can prevent me from stealthing is active at the time) and of course I die....
Also I see the energy of my rogue and I noticed that although it has energy for either Sinister or Mutilate, it just hits whites and waits for a circle or two and then hits with special.
If I play by hand I can span Mutilate as soon as I have energy, so I can build up combos asap, and then Eviscerate. If I crit its just 3 clicks and the mob is dead.
Is there any routine that's waiting and checking maybe for something?
Is it waiting for building more energy?
Can this waiting be adjusted?

I would also like to point out - AGAIN - as its clearly stated in the very first post that this is an Alpha test and it does not use a full range of spells! How can your character vanish and walk 5 yards then reappear? This CC does not even use vanish!

Posts like this just waste my time and piss me off. Where is your log file?! You have not given me anything useful to work with, infact you have not given me anything constructive, all you've done is complain.
 
Haven't read all posts. But my rouge is lvl 60 in Hellfire right now, and he is having a really hard time fighting those boars. So I have a suggestion to the rogue part of this cc. Is it possible to make it open with Cheap Shot instead of Garrote, since he kills them without taking too much damage from the mobs when using Cheap Shot?

sweet sure will... for (Hunger For Blood) to activate you need any one of these bleed effects..


Warrior
Rogue
Druid
Hunter
Hunter - Cat
Hunter - Raptor
I don't think that a Druid's (Mangle), or a Warrior's (Trauma) counts as an active bleed but yet an ability that enhances bleed effects i could be wrong, they are the only two classes i never really played...
 
Sorry for the "complaining" fps, it was not my intention to complain at all.
I just wanted to point out stuff that you might need, later in development.
I never said I wanted anything to be done right now, and also I never said that the Rogue code it does not work,
so I don't see any need for log since there is no error on the way it behaves.
But still if you need a log I would gladly post one as soon as I log my rogue after the patch.
Since I have already made some simple changes to the Stubby CC so it can be used in a Mutilate Rogue build, I thought I could mess arround with this one, so you wont have to make every possible change a user might want in a later developing stage.
I dont even know if this is possible, and that was the reason of my post. I only asked if there was a way I could mess with the code or if it's programmed to behave the way I described.

Again sorry if I pissed you off, I was only trying to be helpfull.

The One CC is heavily integrated with HB2, as such, no further updates will be released until HB2 is available. Hopefully early beta of HB2 will be available in the next week or so.

The features / changes listed below are not available until HB2 beta is released.

The One CC - Rogue

The rogue has undergone a rather extensive update over the last couple of days based on everyones feedback. It now fully supports all 3 trees and uses all abilities appropriately.

If you are below level 30 it will attempt to pull with Shoot or Throw. If unable to pull with either it will use Stealth -> Ambush / Cheapshot. If you are over level 30 it will always pull with Stealth -> Ambush / Garrote / Cheapshot.

Vanish is not supported - yet.





Assassination Spec
  • Will open (where possible) with Garrote to setup Hunger For Blood
  • Hunger For Blood used when any bleed effect is on the target - thanks to gmen for all the buffs/debuffs
  • Mutilate is used instead of Sinister Strike. Appropriate checks are performed to make sure you have 2 daggers equipped. Otherwise will use SS.
  • Cold Blood is used when off cooldown and right before casting Eviscerate
Subtlety
  • Ghostly Strike used when off cooldown
  • Hemorrhage used instead of Sinister Strike
  • Premeditation
  • TO DO: Shadow Dance, used when you get adds in order to Sap the add. Preference given to Sap over Blind.
EDIT: Mutilate spec is almost 60% more XP / Hr over Assassination or Combat spec.

But got a quick question, does priest support PVP healing and instance healing ?
 
The rogue re-write sounds awesome. Cant wait to try it out :D. I remember you also mentioning that you may develop a tool to allow people who do not code to write CC's? Is that tool still in the works or has the idea been scrapped?

In its current state it does not support PVP or instance healing. It will support PVP healing, but its unlikely to support instance healing for a while. That requires a lot more tweaking.

The One CC - Hunter

The Hunter is now supported by The One CC. It is a complete rewrite fully utilising the features of The One CC core library. It is not a port from Actaeon (my previous hunter CC) and as such some actions/features have changed considerably.

The most notable feature is the complete rewrite of the pet feeding method. It will no longer (99.3% sure) bug out when trying to feed your pet. I've been testing it for over 24 hours now and not a single issue has been caused by pet feeding.

All 3 talent trees are supported, the most ideal tree for leveling is, and has alwasy been, Beast Mastery spec.



TO DO:
  • Multi-mob pulling - DONE!
  • Better support for Volley - EVEN MORE BROKEN DOH!

Fps: just wanted to give you a heads up about an issue I'm having with the Rogue CC not using Ambush, after I just hit 18 and learned it. Currently in Loch Modan, trained Ambush, and ensured that it loaded the ability in the initial screen, when it's compiling the spellbook. It appears that he's stealthing up to the mob and just opening up with 2x SS. I just wanted to give you the heads up; I can't tell if the CS would be functional, until I hit 26. Here's the log:
