Ahhh, i wasn't addicted to wow, because i wasn't even playing it. I hate this game lol, i only botted because i wanted to see new WoD and all the fuss about it, was on my last 20 days left on my sub to quit wow for good 2nd time because i believed first time that they won't release any good exp worth coming back, i thought WoD was worth coming back, well now i know it's not worth, i might not have 10 year account but 8 year account banned is not worth to me anymore.

What? It was created 8 years ago. I played it for 3 years during 8 years, so it's like 5 years of not playing vs 3 years playing. I had some off and on times. I returned to WoD 2 months ago and i was counting down days when my sub will end, i forgot how to play this game, i forgot how professions now work, i don't even know what is new central city for exp, i don't even know what to buy and what to sell on AH and what stuff is cool these days. So yeah this game is over for me. The only person that knew what to do in Draenor was honorbuddy and they took it from me, so i'm very lost now and no longer want need or will play.

I started WoD for 2 reasons: new models and train dungeon. Saw both and was unimpressed, moving on now.
Back to playing Factorio. Factorio is game about automation, so you probably see why i play that game now and why i botted in WoW. :D
I also "play" some facebook games with macro creator. Oh yeah getting it to scan screen for buttons locations, automatic adjustment after reload, automated tasks, it's so much fun to make software work for you and watch it do its stuff while you can do other things is just extasic. So yeah it's more fun for me to make stuff do itself than me actually playing game. Except for Diablo 3, i just love to slay demons myself.

Hey OP.

Yeah it's sad we'll miss out on the rest of of the expansion and Legendary et al with our Mains, but yeah fuck Blizzard and WoW without botting. Try look back on WoW (and how our situations have changed over the years), without HB WoW is a massive neverending chorefest.

Lookup 'Buff Dudes' on YouTube, get fit or try learning a new skill... anything. Just dedicate yourself to something for 6 months, and if you miss WoW in November then hey go crazy, install GnomeSequencer (because hey none of us know our Routines better than HB lol) and have fun.

But yeah, take the opportunity to try something new!
 
i was hoping 'buff dudes' wasn't actually buff dudes, but i was disappointed.
 
i missed my ilvl700 druid the first day, best thing of that was the mythic kills which it was 9/10 when working on BH, by thursday i was over it. still botting on my useless d3 acct cant wait for that one to get banned, then im off for a vacation for to bang some pinays hahaha
 
I feel the same way. I stopped playing for a few months. Came back 2 weeks before ban. Botted a few bg's and 2 levels on my Sham. Got banned and couldn't be more relieved that I have to take a break.

Saturday i've bought a new keys for WoW2 account of the game that constantly effectively ruins my life, but don't because i like the game.I hate it about last 2 tiers, 1.5 years at the time. A bit strange to noone here mentioned a friend connections, only my guild friends make me back. Some of them knew that i can use the bot to lead raid when our GM take holiday, feel tired or just want to focus on his own actions during first pulls of boss.
We're semi-hardcore guild, 2 days ago I free upgrade to 90-lvl DK, now i'm 680ilvl 100, next CD hopefully i'll be 690+ Thankfully I can outperform CRs on wellknown encounters, so i can play. Now we're at 9/10M And when i get Cuttin' Edge achievement of this tier, you know what I'll do? First thing I'll do, i select the WoW folder and press Shift-Delete, then make a trip to Moscow and Saint-Petersberg to meet my friends where they situated to drink a few beer and talk about good old battles. I've decided that before dark Wednesday but when i was banned mostly using HB for farming Invincible Reighns and making Argent dailies on a bunch of alts that became f***in' obvious that i need to stop.

There are plenty of other people who used the bot only for leveling their chars or fishing, whom don't have tons of gold on their account, I dont see blizz take their gold either.
I think a 6 month suspension is already enough of a punishment.

But yeah, nobody knows. Maybe you're right. maybe wrong, We will find out on Friday the 13th (of November) ^^

No everybody knows... If they read the email they got from blizz anyhow. talks about removing the stuff right in it...
 
Is it just me or does it seem off that they are giving us back accounts on friday the 13? A day that they rounded up the templars and took them off to jail to dead, lie and turn on other templars.
 
I bought WoD on a 2nd account for $50 after manually leveling using another bot to do the rotation for me. So i'm level 90 just sitting in stormwind and im like "hey I know im going to buy WoD anyways since I got to wait 6 months I might as well buy it now". So I go ahead and pay $50 to get WoD access and start the leveling grind again... mind you my main account that was banned has 8 level 100s etc but screw it I'm still going to level again on a second account. So I begin the great fun journey of leveling 90-100 I thought... well 1 hour in I'm regretting my $50 decision already. I figure "It's okay just keep grinding away, besides I'm playing with a friend we are going to have epic fun times!". Until I realize that this friend doesn't really reply back to me very often and outside of playing with them all my old friends from BC and WOTLK have quit. I still have them on Facebook but we usually just play smite or something else instead together definitely not WoW. So as I'm approaching hour 2 of leveling in shadowmoon valley almost level 92 on my warrior I'm like "Yea I'm done with this, waste of money going to try to get a refund from blizzard".

I go to my battle.net account and try the ticket support option to request a refund the response I got was so upsetting that I near slapped myself because I had no one else to hit. The GM tells me " We cannot issue you a refund because the character is leveled up" ... I'm like "bro I'm level 91 and I didnt even use the boost.. so how does that work out exactly..? "What about if I delete the level 91 and then I'll have no characters will that work?". Well I got no reply and decided to go into livechat help instead and thankfully the GM in there was super cool and helped me refund my $50 purchase for WoD that I will save in a game that I actually enjoy maybe GTA 5 or Witcher 3. If I want to play WoW so bad I'll just wait until my suspension is up in September, I got hit with one of the first 6 month bans 2 months before the ban wave hit. Dont waste money on WoD unless it goes 50% off thats about how much the game is worth in terms of content imo.
 
Sitting here on 4 (not banned?) WoD Accounts unsubbed in March with a few lvl 100 Chars each and could start again in a blink of an eye but decided to stay unsubbed at least till next x-pac. If you dont bot for money WoD is IMO crappy. Though raiding is fine its not enough.

But I´ll check the forums from time to time.

When I read your post I was thinking .. Hey that's me!

It such a good feeling not being addicted anymore - 5 accounts with 4 x geared 100s per account. Made 2mil gold in WOD casually and don't care if they take it away, it's over for me

I went and played golf today, fixed my car tail light yesterday (which has been broken for months), cooked for once. I deleted my wow, multiboxing and HB directories and now my ssd now has 50gb extra space, oh the joy !

you shouldnt bot on an accounts that is 10 years old with all archivments you know that botting is at your own risk you should bought a second account and bot on that :) blizzard dont care about your 10 years account if you botted they wil just ban it

To all the people who say "You shouldn't bot on an account that has too much value for you". Then what am supposed to do? Both my accounts I considered my main. I bot because I lack time to level/fishing/arch/Garrison stuff. These things Ineed on my main account. I don't bot to make tons of gold or to grind stuff. I bot to make my game easier and more enjoyable. Cause I doubt there is anyone here who enjoys manual grind.

Yeah Mario's post is pointless, the only thing you could do on a secondary account is make gold, but only for that account, the 2nd you start trading with your main they will ban both regardless.
