So, it's the time of the year that I have to do my taxes. I really don't know how to put "diablo income" under my tax form. In general, where does this thing go? Goods? Services? Whatever?
Not sure about the law in your country, but here in the US, technically you do have to report any income you made even if it is hand to hand or Paypal through online game transactions. BUT - Paypal only reports your income to the IRS if you made $20,000 AND had over 200 transactions over the past year. So most people just don't report since the IRS doesn't really know right away that you made some extra money. Small risk but very few people ever get burned.![]()
Not really, the only problem is that the money show up in a bank account. If I sell something hand to hand its no problem.
I got over 30 000 (over a few years) into my bank account from paypal and never had any questions asked from anywhere. (Not Diablo3, actual work)
