TankLeader 2: What would you like to see?

Message for Aevitas... What are the plans for this bot? With each WOT update it seems like the bot performs worse. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to develop this bot, but to the general user it really seems as though this is an abandoned project. Should we keep hoping or just stop bothering about upgrades/fixes? I use Honorbuddy, and it would seem if even a third of the development effort that went into that could be put into Tank Leader, it has the potential to really be phenomenal.

I'm new @ this Community. I already have some know-how in bot-applications, also I made my own bots with autoit :)
I think you did a good job on TankLeader, but there were some things i would like to see in the future:

1. Settings for Aiming time!!! -> the bot try to fire instantly after he spot a enemy and he try to move forward between reloading! Now what we get -> hiting ratio is terrible, if the bot do the drive-stop-drive-stop-drive-stop... sequence some people could detect bot using! Adding a configuraible time for standing still and aiming in the bot GUI (0,5 - 2sec) will be great feature!

2. Fighting mode detection -> The are some times many fighting modes on the same map, if you implement some kind of detection user would be able to configurate the profiles better. the will be no issues with the swiched spawn points on the same map.

3. Different unstuck behaviours! is the bot running the same behaviour every time, wargaming could create a routine to look for this behaviour and detect boting (no one want to get banned)

Its all for this time, if i detect other things i will tell you :)

I'm currently working on a new version of TankLeader - 2.1 - whenever time permits. It's still in a very early stage, but the idea is to develop it side by side with the current version of TankLeader, and rolling out a bunch of fixes and improvements with it when it's done. Various parts of the bots need major overhauls internally, which is something that can't realistically be done on the production tree of the bot, as sudden patches would force those changes to be released prematurely or untested.

Don't worry, the input you guys give in this thread isn't lost, I left the thread up past the release for a reason. :)
 
The most important thing to see is a WORKING BOT! the current bot is too dumb & stupid! not avoiding crashing into houses ad rocks mainly AND not driving away from these problems BUT staying there for the rest of game and being classified as inactive!!! thereby getting a warning for inactivity.
So developer, it would be ever so good to see a working bot that does not display inactivity as this one does

This should be significantly reduced since 9.5.
 
I just had the crash again where my bot drives into stuff.
I have some ideas:
Either instead of making that left turn if driving into another tank, then just wait for 20 seconds and drive again...
Or track the movement of the bot. So if you move forward but the tank is no moving in 5 seconds. Turn random to one side and try again.. rinse and repeat to you move correctly.....
And plix put in some random rotation of the turret - we want to look like a human!
 
I would like to see:

- Option to not have Premium
- Behaviour options - Tank Destroyer, Rush Base, Recon, Tank Hunter, Long Range killer, etc.
- Faster to start - why take so long to get moving?
- Better map / mesh support - seen too many tanks get stuck on buildings
- Better logic in how tanks identify potential targets - watched my bot go right past an enemy tank only yards away!

I know you are looking into camera control but what about always having the point of view as being directly behind the tank unless targeting? When shooting, go into snipe view.
 
please, make feature, that allows to restart WOT when it crashes.
bacause you can start bot, exit home and when you return, u see , that WoT crashes after 2-nd fight and nothing happens after.

7 months later, or 3 1/2 years u started the thread for tankleader 2 ^^ you work alone on the bot or what? ;D after many years ago, no rly freature update i see :(

I hope tankleader 2 will have a mesh system with auto dedect tanks and so... when not meshsystem, easy way to get banned after a while :rolleyes:

For the most part, I do. We're currently working on a mesh system like you described, most of that is server sided however, so the client doesn't change much.

Tank specific profiles/settings - Heavy/Medium/Light/TD and Arty [already kinda done] settings

need a Ram-Kill function instead of stopping and shooting, thats just dumb when tank is a few meters in front of you

rotate thru the x2 daily bonus of tanks would be good like in the manual
 
hi would be great to make the bot be more reactive to the area where he is like it scan or something so he would nt be stuck everywhere
 
One thing i would like with TankLeader 2 is for it to work and not get connecting to server issue and dont get stuck. Also to be smarter. Now it just drive around to stupid places and gets it self killed really fast

Colored Meshes through terrain. (wallhack)
Planned Contingency Artificial intelligence Auto Targetting and Predictive movement Patterns and shots made to probable point off arrival based on telemetry. (grins)
