[Talented] WoW Popular Specs

It seems my honorbuddy was not the latest build I just did a manual update and it seems to have fixed the problem, I also went to the authors vault where he keeps the very latest talent builds atticusg3-buddyscripts - Revision 75: /trunk/Talent Builds and downloaded the latest build of arc mage (me prefered build) and it seems to be working as it should now. The problem I have now is I did not get the prompt to update honorbuddy from the bot its self and had to manualy start update.exe.

I never really trusted the update prompt, because it would always prompt me to update when no update was available, so I just started ignoring it. I just check the forums daily to see if there are new releases. Right now the newest one out is 5883.

It only spent two points, and wouldn't go any further, but when I opened and compared shadow with discipline, I found that the shadow spec wasn't set up like the discipline one was. The shadow spec would spend two points in shadow, then start trying to spend points in holy and disc, then go back to shadow. That can't be done anymore with how trees work now. So, what you may have to do is edit the build file to make talented spend points in your main tab first, then move into the other two tabs, if need be.

If you don't know how to do that, pm me with the spec you are trying to use in talented and your email address, and i'll edit it so that it will work. If you decide to do this, keep in mind that I am busy IRL and will get the file back to you ASAP, but I can't guarantee that it will come back to you within the next 10-15 minutes. I will, however, try and get it back to you within 24 hours.

All of my Talented scripts are conformant with the current version of Talented. IE they all spend the points in the spec tree before moving on. The issue you are describing is the exact reason why the WHUT-X project was created.

I had an issue with the Rogue Subtlety PVP Build. It got stuck when reaching 28 points, going no further. The xml is fine, but the plugin "failed" to add
- 3rd point in Relentless Strikes
- 3rd point in Energetic Recovery

I'm confused... are we supposed to be able to use WHUT-X.exe to create our own talent builds? It asks me which directory to use for output but then does nothing else.

Yes you can use it yourself. After it's asked you where to output too it's loaded and waiting for you to give it a URL. [HonorBuddy\Plugins\Talented\Talent Builds is a good place to start] To give it a URL copy the wowhead link out of your browser for the spec you want and press Win + ALT+ P, as it says when you mouse over the program's icon in your system tray.
