[FREE] Studio Companion

Version 1.0.160225.1 has been submitted and is now awaiting approval.

This update requires Honorbuddy to be updated to at least [Release] Honorbuddy v2.5.14855.813 published earlier today.

Edit: The issue formerly presented in this post has been fixed with the latest HB release. Please update your HB installation to the latest release.

Oh, sorry if you misunderstood, but I am still waiting for the approval on the Studio Planner fix. I did however ask for a quick approval and someone will probably press the button any minute now.

In your quote, I was referring to the broken flying movement brought on by the last HB version. That issue is fixed, because they pushed an HB update. Those are two different things. Sorry for the confusion.

I am currently working on a patch that will reduce the required memory of the plugin significantly and will also greatly improve the performance on the item settings pages.

Was testing this profile on trial, Good job, however Got stuck on attempting to click the orb of domination ( BWD - Initiate Nef ) - Char died and then it stopped HB Afterwords. Note: I finished nef off and did not attempt a restart, however starting after nef it began to take back off as before ( It did not seem to run the "sell items" behavior however). It also reset the raid back to normal rather than heroic ( as specified in the companion ) and did not change when it went to the next raid. ( I can provide you logs if you wish via PM )

I really can't do anything without logs, so if you feel there really is a bug I need to fix, then I need to see them.
 
No prob, i understand :P I Figured it out i was using an addon that "instantly accepted quests" so it seems that it was auto clicking the orb ( and the bridge in firelands too i would imagine ) and HB Couldn't recognize that it had already been clicked. IIRC from my profile work back in the day, wouldn't it be possible to do a check there @ the orb point to prevent users from sitting there for an hour :P Even if they are running an addon like i mentioned.

I do have some issues ( 2 characters fully ran on the third now ) with Dragon Soul Hagara and the Gauntlet before Ultrax however.

Hagara repeatedly states that there is no valid mobs in the area. (I am Alliance if that could be of any concern in case you did these on a horde toon and ID's could potentially be diff there? )
Ultraxion gauntlet is really not friendly to melee, however classes with a taunt - should - be forced by the botbase to target the Ranged ( not ones that are landing on the platform, but the ones sitting on the edge) Drakes and taunt them. That causes the drakes to land on the platform.

Would you mind telling me which addon was the culprit? If I am to check this out, I need to have a test case. I am, however, not seeing this as high priority. The Blackwing Lair profile has been out for a year and you are the first person to report a specific issue with a specific WoW addon. But it is honestly not going to be very high priority. If I start fixing issues with automation addons that interfere with an automation program, then I put myself in a terrible position. That is something I would put on my Trello list and fix, when I do one of my regular profile overhauls. But the most likely response is to keep it deactivated. There is a list of interfering addons and it would probably make more sense to add this addon to the list.

The challenge with Ultraxion is that I had to disable the combat routine and any movement and program alternatives. Singular kept jumping off the tower while trying to reach hovering drakes. Taunt is used for many classes and specs, but for druids I would also have to program the shape shifting. Most melees however handle that encounter sufficiently well. For rogues the FAQ recommend Shuriken Toss and for feral druids you should select Lunar Inspiration. Makes things one hell of a lot easier.

The Hagara issue happens on occasion and has to be fixed by Bossland. We have been waiting for a fix for ... i think around 9 months now.

The addon is named quick quest by the way, and just to throw this out there, i was not questioning your capability of programming! I love your work and it's awesome as far as i've used it. I do want to mention the first melee i used on ultra was a Feral Druid so i had some issues that i guess were known :P. One thing is there is a druid Script Macro available

I will keep it in mind. Thank you very much. I still have the intention of embedding my own CRs into the plugin to get rid of all those stupid issues, but all in due time. :-) I will always put in bugfixes, but I am also just now finishing up the Quick Travel menu for the plugin and about to embed the Pet Battle stuff as well. :-)
 
I found the issue. I did a bit of code cleanup the other day and did not mean to submit it yet, but I mixed up the zip files and uploaded the wrong version.
I submitted a fix now and I am begging the core devs to approve the fix. I am very sorry.

You should still be able to run raid profiles through the "Load from Buddystore" dialog.

This one is a tad bigger, because I was trying to make the travel module even more solid and introduce some more flexibility.
With every big update there is also the possibility of a bug slipping through so tell me what you think about it and if anything goes wrong.

- Fixed an issue with the portal from Lion's Watch in Tanaan to Stormshield on Ashran
- Fixed a travel time calculation bug when travels were started in the garrison or on Tanaan
- Bot now verifies the location after each step of the travel and recalculates if it ends up in the wrong place
- Bot now tries three times to get to the target location before it stops
- Added a dynamic ground blackspot to small podium at the side of the Hall of Mysteries in Ironforge.
  Mounts were behaving weirdly on their way to Bastion of Twilight when riding over it
- Moved the Silithus aerial blackspot from the profile to the new dynamic blackspot manager
- Optimized travel route algorithm to consider phased map switches
