Status Center - One plugin to rule them all.

Fantastic concept, unfortunately when I try to use it, the website either times out or is unuseably slow.
 
only bad thing is apparently when the website is slow to respond it crashes honorbuddy..... which kinda sucks :(

might wana write a lil thing in there so that it wont effect the honorbuddy app itself like that :) just a thought... ill just take this out of my plugins list for now... seems like a great idea though

trying to fix it right now :)

EDIT:
asynchron requests seem to be working fine,tho the check for new outbox messages has to be done each pulse(it will only request them from the server every 60th pulse as before, but will check the string each pulse to make sure we don't miss a message)

Mhm, fixed now but someone hit me with a pretty powerful ddos. ( Only enough to slow my line )
 
You know you can take a snapshot of the screen by pressing the home and on/off button at the same time? (iPhone that is) :)
Better than taking a picture like that.

Can also take screenshot of your Droid phone, but you dont have that so it doesnt matter haha.

Glad someone noticed it was this plugin crashing HB. I was kinda curious why my HB crashed twice today.
 
it wont happend after we move servers ( happening as we speak ) to stable hosting provided by wired420
 
Using this at the moment, the messaging system is working really well. Is there any way I can delete the mail icon next to the users name without replying back? Just so I can see if I have a recent whisper etc
 
Ill make a button in the messages section to delete selected message give me 2 mins
 
Currently working on the new features such as

  • not locking honorbuddy if the server is slow
  • (auto)update - might require the press of one button(the one in the plugins menu),everything else will be done automatically then(download a new version if there is one,delete the old version,load up the new version in honorbuddy)
  • the gold information on the page
  • zone and subzone support
  • forgetten stuff....i'm old

EDIT: ok all of this stuff seems to be working,there will be a release later today
the update part is fully automatically,nothing to do for you :D

Works great at the moment! Wonderful! I really support this. It's just simply awesome. Just a thing that could get better, would be the speed of the site (It's pretty slow loading stuff).

A suggestion would be to add the amount of won and lost BG's :)

About the speed of the site: we are moving it to a real hosting package,so there won't be any long loading times anymore
as for the amount of won/lost BGs: will be added in one of the next versions
 
any reasoning why i keep getting " [Status Center] EXCEPTION: The operation has timed out" this just because of the slow loading website i mean for me it's taking 60-90 seconds to load at time some times dont even load at all any eta on a new host ?

The new host is being used already by the developers,there was no timeout anymore,so this problem seems fixed

in about half an hours i think we will give you the new adresse where you can get the plugin and see your characters status's.

NOTE: you will have to redownload the plugin ONCE when we changed to the new host,smply logon there and click the nice button

  • For AutoUpdate to work make sure that:
  • the plugin is called "StatusUpdate.cs" exactly like this(without the quotes ofc)
  • make sure the Plugin is the your "Plugins" without any other folder around it
  • make sure to press recompile from time to time(ofc not when you're not at the pc :P) so it will load the newest version always

Hey, this has been working perfectly up until now. I have a feeling that it is messing up my bot - whenever I have it activated it stop my character from moving the reports back with:

[Status Center] EXCEPTION: The operation has timed out

So I'm guessing it's trying to send/recieve something which causes my bot to pause and then times out.. I tested this before release and it worked perfectly, it was working fine in the last few hours but it has stopped working now. Sorry that I can' supply much information but let me know if I can help anymore. It's a great plugin and I love the work you guys are putting into it so thanks for everything you have done.

keep your eyes open on this thread,there will be a new version in the next few minutes that fixes several bugs(just like this one)

EDIT: NEW VERSION RELEASED,SEE FIRST POST FOR DETAILS(click the link there and follow the stept given :))
