Well i would have to say if u were to use frost as a raid spec, then yes this isn't bad at all, however, you really shouldn't be using frost for raiding as other specs can produce higher dps
 
Hi everyone! I know alot of people have been waiting for the next update to come out, and I'm sorry for not being more active here and releasing it. I would like to thank nate8282 for helping everyone that's having problems with the profile. I'm going to be way more active from now on, so if anyone have any questions regarding the profile I'm happy to help.

The update will be out shortly and again, I'm sorry for not releasing it earlier.

Hmm? Why do you say that?
Accordingly to this page frost is in the top of mage dps: Level 90 DPS Rankings - Overview (MoP 5.0.5)
Its not that i don't believe you, i just must be misinformed?
 
It could be that i'm using frost wrong, but with my current gear (8 epics) fire is first in dps, arcane is second and frost is slightly behind arcane.
 
For the people asking about this profile for raiding, it could work on some bosses / trash. How the current specs roll in raids are;
#1 Fire (For single-target bosses)
#2 Frost (For multi-target bosses)
#3 Arcane.

-- #1 & #2 may vary from encounter to encounter. Like even tho frost should beat fire @ multi-target, fire can still be the best for some multi-target encounters. --

Hope this cleared some confused minds, if you have any future questions, feel free to ask :)
 
Anytime I replace the original files with these new ones HB crashes over and over again. Am I doing something wrong??

Mage frost actually is better in raid that mage fire, for 3 boss ( Elegon, Spirit kings, Will of Emperor). The problem is that n
o have a good CC frost PVE high

Thanks a lot for this CC its very good. Couple of problems though:

1. When in dungeons for some reason it tries to spam pet attack literally all the time

For example and my character will not do anything.

2. It keeps trying to cast cone of cold when its too far away from mobs.

3. When in dungeon buddy it only spams frostbolt when its fighting bosses.

Just some feedback.

Is there any known bug on this CC atm? It worked like a charm yesterday, today its facing away from the target and in dungeon its like it thinks its stuck, cause it wants to jump up and down for no reason, lowering the dps. Any suggestions?
 
WoW, This is simply crazy. My mage goes berzerk with his dps. Hes like instant killing mobs while leveling. Very nice tweak indeed. Ty
 
Everytime my mage sees a warlock with those wild imp pets it keeps targetting them and trying to cast stuff forever, only issue i've had with this so far.

Also it sometimes doesn't recast icebarrier midfight

Just leaving here my two cents, can you change frost armor to mage armor instead? We will benefit more because of the mastery..
Another thing i notice the Cold Snap Isn't Used at all, is it possible to activate to use the Cold Snap right after we use ice block?

Now offtopic: I'm new to profiles how and i want to contribute also to this profile.. Can you tell me where do you program the profile or give little information about it?

I have been testing this CC for two days now and i wanted to see some changes so i started looking to the coding file and i was able to understand an make some changes with a friend helping me.

With those changes i think it will increase our burst and survivability.

UPDATES

- Frozen Orb: Range mechanic changed (i notice it was rarely used because of the conversion from feet to yards) now frozen orb is used more often
- Changed the % when Ice Block: Is used (Before was using at 20% now it use at 30%, i changed this to the fact of the Cold Snap being used now sometimes you will be able to block again before you die because that extra HP.
- Changed Frost Armor to Mage Armor (because of the Mastery buff).
- Now uses Cold Snap When you get out of the Ice Block, Cold Snap is used for extra HP and "extra" Block and if your Ice Block is in CD for some reason and Cold Snap is ready it will use when you are at 30%HP or bellow and it will Block after.
- Now uses Time Warp: I know for some of you it's a bit retard but well it was a spell never used but it helps to burst your opponents even faster

UPDATES V2

- Time Warp mechanic changed: Time Warp it will only triger when there is 2 or more enemy's.
- Now uses Alter Time: When you pop up your offensive cooldowns it will triger Alter Time, extra Fingers of Frost / More Uptime in Icy Veins, etc..
- Now uses Counterspell: Only when your target goes bellow 30%HP, this is a plus when you are killing Healers/Casters or even a DK (ignore the other class's)
- Now uses Spellsteal:*

("Hand of Protection")
("Sacred Shield")
("Power Word: Shield")
("Earth Shield")
("Riptide")
("Rejuvenation")

NOTE: With Spellsteal added your damage in general it will be a bit lower.
NOTE 2: If you want any other specific spell let me know i will add to the list.

- Ring of Frost
- Tweaking Alter Time: I want to use Alter Time as a Defensive CD
- Tweaking Counterspell: I want to use in specific spells

I will work now on ring of frost spell (the idea is to use the ring of frost right away when the pet freeze) but this probably will take longer or not even possible with my code knowledge skills lol

Not yet, working right now on the ring of frost, it can take a while i'm still new at this :P
