I dont have problems with people venting...
I got problem with people talking trash in plugin or profile threads. Not reading the OP or the instructions given (WHICH SHOULD BE A FORUM RULE).
I rather have you temp baning half the forum to make a statement(even me if you feel like it) then having to read crap thats posted on this DB section everyday!

Understood. What about allowing users to moderate their own threads? I know this is a capability of vBulletin, because my own forum allows for it.

This way, if Radonic or whoever created a thread, he could remove troublesome posts from it. This wouldn't be DemonBuddy "censoring" anything; it would just be the community taking care of itself. Hopefully you'll look into that kind of solution. If need be, I can tell you the necessary settings.

if anyone has a problem with a thread they make, they can PM me, or just about any other mod and be like
"hey i need you to remove posts #10, 11, 20, 22 from http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...team-outsource-some-help-get-bot-working.html" thanks.

and i would do it. or they can report the people who are trolling and we will deal with it that way.

you make post like that and wonder why, when people actually need help, they get up in arms, and start flame wars.

if you cant post and be helpful then dont post, if everyone could just do that, then we wouldn't have problems.

Sorry, then. My intention wasnt to start a flame war, it was rather to thank you for the piece of information that i can PM you about posts that trouble me!
Since i got ALOT of them already i hope your offer still stands!?

Anyway my meaning want to flame or bother YOU in any manner!

Ive helped TONS of people for free, just because im nice... Probably more then half of my post count are 100% pure help to others.
But most of the support these days are "please read the OP ONCE AGAIN" and stuff like that. So i hope youll see where my frustation
comes from?!

well happy troll hunting in the future, ill stop posting in this thread anyway, since you got my point already!
 
i think with that its time to close this thread, i think ive made our (the teams) stance on pretty much everything pretty clear.
if anyone else has any questions feel free to drop me a pm.
