ShamWOW for HB2 - An Enhance/Elemental/Resto + PVP/RaF Healbot by Bobby53

Hey Bobby53, I was just wondering. Im grinding in a low level area for the rep, and if they attack me and i have ligtning shield on, they die and they will not grant any rep (im ench specced) So i was wondering if there is a way to NOT use LS?

Mickstjohn, From what I can see, you have a Level 27 Resto Shaman and while entering the instance you encountered some form of crash. There is no detail in the log file indicating the source of the crash, only that it occurred at some point after InstanceBuddy accepted the dungeon invite. I just ran two tests with the same versions of HB, IB, and ShamWOW that are indicated in your log and encountered no issues with a 29 Resto Shaman or a 45 Resto Shaman. The only difference was I didn't get the same instance you did. A few questions:

1. Was this the first InstanceBuddy run you made with a Shaman?

2. Was this a one time error or every time you try to use?

No, the AutoEquip plugin is not needed nor is any other. The log file you provided earlier for a crash at dungeon entry and your description in this post sounds like it is occurring when dealing with load screens. That event is handled by InstanceBuddy so I suggest posting as an IB issue until additional details are available indicating another source of the problem.

Klovnene, You can change the Shield Twisting values so that it keeps Water Shield up. Here is the relevant section from the ShamWOW.chm Help file:

Can I force it to always use Water Shield?

Yes. Set Lightning Shield Mana % to 101 and set the Water Shield Mana % to 100. Your characters mana can never get above 100 so Water Shield will always be up.​

You can heal/dps in a mode referred to as the Lazy Raider, where you are responsible for moving the Shaman but ShamWOW will be responsible for spell selection and casting. Here are the steps:

LAZY RAIDER (HEAL OR DPS 10/25 man RAIDS)
- Required - Mr. AutoFight [CLICK HERE]
- Required - SetTheLeader [CLICK HERE]
1. Enable Mr. AutoFight on Plugins tab
2. Enable SetTheLeader on Plugins tab
3. Select Grind bot on the Status tab
4. Load a level appropriate profile for any zone (to prevent HonorBuddy no profile loaded error)
5. Join a party or raid
-- wait until raid fully formed and everyone enters --
6. Enter the instance (DO NOT CLICK START BEFORE THIS!!!)
7. Click SetTheLeader plugin button and choose Tank
8. Click Start

EDIT: Use the settings on the RAF tab in ShamWOW CC Configuration to control your characters cooldowns during raiding. Even though you are running the Grind bot, ShamWOW recognizes you are in a raid/party and treats it as an RAF environment.

You have to use the Grind bot because of how the Combat/Duel bot and the RAF bots select tanks. Since Grind bot wasn't designed for this use, you have to do the above in the order specified. Clicking Start too early will potentially cause errors that require you to exit HonorBuddy and restart.

You cannot permanently stay in Ghost Wolf. I will look at adding that in a future version, but that's a pretty special purpose use and I still have work left on current release in developmetn.

To speed up grinding lowbie mobs, try the following:

1. If you don't need the loot or skins, speed up killing by turning off looting
- HonorBuddy - Bot Settings
- uncheck Loot Mobs

2. Disable use of the mount since it prevents use of Ghost Wolf
- HonorBuddy - General Settings
- uncheck Use Mount

3. Enable Ghost Wolf
- ShamWOW - General tab
- check Use Ghost Wolf

4. Disable use of totems and cooldowns since takes additional GCD's
. ShamWOW - Grinding tab
- set Combat Style to Disable Totems / CDs

Those are just suggestions to try. I have used these settings to speed up leveling herbalism and mining on a high-level char in a low level area, but have not specifically farmed low level characters.

I believe it was due to the profile being 84-85, when i changed it to 0-86 it began working correctly. Is there any changes i can make to utilize chain heal more often as a resto shaman?

First of all, thanks for the great CC bobby.

my enh shaman is 84 right now, but hes not using the lvl 81 skill Unleash Elements. is there a way to change the coding to make him use it every time its not on cooldown? or maybe add it in the next version?

It does so much damage right now and gives a buff, really makes killing faster

only a few days on the forums and you want to fuck with someone who tries to help you ? welcome to my ignore list and by the way if you already knew that it isnt in the cc settings why do you ask such a stupid question ? the only other way to change a CC is to look at the source code, but it is obvious that you are not smart enough for doing that.

There is no option to disable Totemic Recall. You can modify the Totemic Recall Distance to reduce how often Totemic Recall is cast, but you cannot disable it at present.

You typically will want to always attach a log file as I can't be of help regarding 99.9% of problems without one. In this case however, if you were using the RaF Bot in a Battleground you will encounter problems. That ability is not presently supported as the RAF Bot is intended for use in PVE situations only. Look for an update providing this ability in the near future.
