Getting alot of LOS issues. Sham will just try to spam spells while mob is LOS.

zomgmage, Sorry for your issues. However there is no general LOS issue with ShamWOW. Thanks for the reply bobby. I'm going to redownload everything and try a clean install. It happens when running IB and also while solo grinding. A mob will be around a corner or something and my sham will target it and spam his spells while it says LOS for about a min before moving on.

Anyways. Will update again after redownload.

Sorry to ask again, but I'm curious to know when you'll be releasing your update? I've seen you say 'soon' several times, which makes me believe that it will be within at most a few hours, but it's been days so far. It's hard to convey emotion or sentiment through text, but I want you to know this is curiosity speaking and nothing more. I'm using your current CC with no issues, and can do so for as long as it takes, but I was more so just hoping to get an ETA if you had one. I'm well aware that these things take time, effort, and financing of some sort to get done, so in no way am I rushing you. Keep up the good work, and if at all possible can you release an exact ETA, or something as close to exact as you can give?

Just wondering if there is a way to change the constant healing surge spam to greater healing wave and use more chain healing when healbot?

What should have happened (be specific): Selected 'healing only' option in 'raf/instance' tab, expected healing only with focused insight shock cast

What did happen (be specific): shaman was casting lightning bolt at 10% mana, which was kinda hurting.

Lexicorn, Thanks for the post, but that is working as intended. Here is the excerpt from the Change History when support for recognizing Telluric Currents and Focused Insight was added:

- Resto: support for Focused Insight and Telluric Currents when combat style is Healing Only. If these talents are specced, a Resto Shaman will cast Earth Shock and Lightning Bolt respectively for healing bonus and mana regen. No other damage spells are cast, unless the combat styles is set to Healing Over Combat. Healing and Cleanse takes priority over damage spells.

You can prevent ShamWOW from casting these when setup as Healing Only by removing Telluric Currents and Focused Insight from your Resto spec. As for casting Lightning Bolts at 10%, when Telluric Currents is specced the spell is at worst Mana Neutral and usually results in some positive mana regen, so casting at 10% shouldn't be an issue. If it appears to be, please be sure to attach your complete debug log file so I can follow the mana consumption. Thanks for the post, Bobby53

I was running bg's with this profile as Healing over Damage, so was babysitting abit while I saw my shaman doing her work in WSG. And actually did save peoples life and got 1st on healing done . I guess people wouldn't care about botters if they just save their life . Actually got some whispers tho, like "We form a good team xD" & "nice healing m8, keep on doing that". So thanks for the CC dude . + rep

(one that is enforced be it grinding/pvp/raf)

I keep forgetting to change the settings between grinding/raf/bg's and I end up popping BL on trash in instances with all my guildies watching...
Would be nice to have a setting to prevent this, even if it means it won't ever use the spell anymore.

(if this is something you would rather not do, can you just confirm for me that the below line is the one I need to adjust with an extra bool check)

mezz0, Glad to hear it is working well overall for you! In general though, the behavior you described doesn't match what should be happening. Here is a breakdown on some of the points you mention which don't match what I am seeing:

1. ShamWOW should never cast Bloodlust/Heroism in instances on trash mobs. It will only cast if ALL of these criteria are true:

a. Tank is targeting a Boss
b. The Boss is in combat
c. The option Use Bloodlust / Heroism at Bosses is checked

2. You already have a never_ever_cast_bloodlust_heroism switch for instances. Uncheck the Use Bloodlust / Heroism at Bosses option and it will not cast while part of an RAF group.

3. You mention changing settings between Grinding/PVP/RAF but you shouldn't have to. Each tab should affect the behavior only for that specific usage (Grind settings have no affect in Battlegrounds or RAF for example.)

4. Settings are saved on a per character basis. If you have two Shaman, their settings are stored separately so you can configure one to behave distinctly different than the other and never have to change settings. This is the other case where it might seem like settings need to be changed each use but don't.

The description above should accurately describe what has been in place for a couple months in ShamWOW. Please be sure to attach a complete debug log file if your results differ from what I described.

Mickstjohn, From what I can see, you have a Level 27 Resto Shaman and while entering the instance you encountered some form of crash. There is no detail in the log file indicating the source of the crash, only that it occurred at some point after InstanceBuddy accepted the dungeon invite. I just ran two tests with the same versions of HB, IB, and ShamWOW that are indicated in your log and encountered no issues with a 29 Resto Shaman or a 45 Resto Shaman. The only difference was I didn't get the same instance you did. A few questions:

1. Was this the first InstanceBuddy run you made with a Shaman?

2. Was this a one time error or every time you try to use?

Cheers for getting back to me, mate.
I believe my problem is due to me using nesox combat and healbot instead of the raf bot.
Which makes shamwow use the grind setting instead of the raf setting.

I have now following set:

For now, the only Raiding setup I support is the one documented in that post. You don't want to use either Combat/Healbot or the RAF/Combat Assist bots for this purpose as they both have issues with how they identify/manage the tank identification in raids and/or work in conjunction with SetTheLeader. Note that those bots work for other purposes, just not in a raid environment when you need to identify the actual tank which is the case for any CC providing tank specific buffs or behavior.

Follow those steps and you should have no problems with ShamWOW or any other CC that allows you to disable its movement or needs to identify the tank in a raid.

check the level requirements of the pvp profile you are using.
(ie. it's a problem with your profile, not the cc)
