I'd like to know it a bit more though: in the settings panel, under the PVP tab, the 'Hex' option under 'group support' is not selectable, showing 'None'. Why is that? Same goes for 'Hex Target' in the RAF tab. I'm goblin resto spec.

Thank you again for all your work! New version is casting lava burst, earth shock, chain lightning etc in raid in auto and heal over combat in resto. We only get mana back for LB is there a reason you changed this from .13 to .14?

@Tama, The reply from Wuzzery is correct regarding the user interface. Hex is used in PVP, but there are no config options for controlling it at this point. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Ruinit, You are very welcome and thanks for the post! Here is a quick clarification of the RAF Combat Style setting:
.
o RAF Combat Style = Heal Over Combat - means exactly what it says. Heals until everyone is topped off, then so long as nobody requires heals it casts DPS spells trying to maximize damage until healing is needed again. The typical use for this is when you GREATLY outgear an encounter, so much so that your Resto DPS is worth having. Note, this combat style overrides your spec, so if you are using Heal Over Combat with an Enhancement Shaman then it will do exactly what it was told to do and force your melee toon to be a healer first, fighter second. In other words, this setting is the exception and not the rule.

o RAF Combat Style = Auto - this is the setting everyone should be using. This automatically adjusts to your spec, meaning max DPS if you are Elemental or Enhancement, and max Heals if you are Resto. Very useful if you instance/raid sometimes as Resto, sometimes as DPS, since you don't have to remember to change the config setting.. It also activates the Off-Healing support and will assist healing anytime a raid member falls below the health percentage you configure for off healing. It should never cast a DPS spell as Resto with this setting except Lightning Bolt (only if you spec into Telluric Currents) and Shocks (only if you spec into Focused Insight.)

My recommendation is for everyone to leave RAF Combat Style set to Auto. For those that want their DPS character to never ever heal when in a RAF Group, just set the Off heal Group Members at % on the RAF/Instances tab to 0 and it will never off heal, yet when you run as Resto no changes are needed (since Off Healing only applies to DPS.)

The behavior you described while running as Resto (casting LvB, CL, etc.) is expected if you choose the Heal Over Combat setting and should not occur if using Auto. Check your settings and if you believe it is behaving improperly visit the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] and closely follow the steps in FAQ #1 for posting issues. I won't be able to assist without that.

jedion11, Welcome to HonorBuddy! ShamWOW only controls your character (for the most part) while you are in combat. Sounds like you are having problems outside of that which would be the Bot or Profile you are using. A few suggestions to get get you started:

1. Read the New User information on the Wiki [CLICK HERE], This documentation covers all the new user startup info.

2. If still not able to get it working, post in the HonorBuddy Support Issues forum [CLICK HERE]. The HonorBuddy team as well as other forum members will assist to get you up and working quickly.

Everytime you update HB , the default simple copy of shamwow is mixed with any version from this topic you might be using before, so you should clear the folder and make sure that you use one of the two and not files from both.

Hello Bobby!

I've noticed that when I cast Spiritwalker's Grace the CC doesn't cast a non-istant spell, it keeps spamming riptide and dispel, although it doesn't say that "the spell cannot be cast due to movement" or something like that. It's like it is aware of spiritwalker but doesn't cast non-istants heals anyway. I thought that's because the target's health is high enough in order to save some non istants, but its not the case. In fact a tank was almost going down once, so I used spiritwalker, moved to him, but nothing, the tank just died: no healing surge, no greater heal, no chain, nothing, it was like i didn't clicked on spiritwalker's at all.

Here's a log when I used some spiritwalkers.

Swizzie, Thank you for the post and the complete debug log file. You are running an old version:

[3:28:06 AM:921] Chose ShamWOW v4.3.15 by Bobby53 as your combat class!

This occurs if you either have never installed ShamWOW -OR- have upgraded to a new release of ShamWOW. Just get in the habit of installing ShamWOW everytime you upgrade/install HonorBuddy and it will function as expected.
