hello boby i'm not sure if this were i would post this question, any how the question is at what level can i start using your CC?? can i just create a shaman and the CC start working right out of the box or is there modification i got to do to it?? thanks for all the time you put in to the CC and thanks in advance for the response

@jggaall99, The response from punisher775 is correct. The design objective of ShamWOW is automatically adapt to its current combat situation (Bot in use, environment, team composition, role, spec, gear, talents, abilities, etc.) and provide the best in class response without requiring the user to make any modifications. Options are available for altering the default behavior, but you shouldn't need any of those. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Shamans Location: Alterac Valley
What should have happened (be specific): The character should cast spells at the enemy players to make them die.
What did happen (be specific): The character put out some totems and stood still.
Computer time of problem (local time, not realm time): Around 20:54.

Beast usually does very well, sometimes slacks at about 2k dps less than what i could do but at the same time in other occasions can beat me on dps. Its very good.

It has instructions on how to post an issue you would like me to research on your behalf. This includes a template to copy&paste as well as steps for attaching a complete debug log file. Zoak, Appears to be a bug throwing an exception. This interrupts normal behavior preventing it from reaching the portion of the priority where it would cast attacks. I'll get a fix posted a little later tonight. Bobby53
 
Hey bobby thanks for being so active on the forums and so thorough in your replys. Im wondering how high this cc could go in 2v2. I seem to get bursted down really easily with 4k resil as resto. And as enhancement I do pretty decent. So basically my question is this : what would you say the arena rating cap is with this cc in both resto and enhancement.
I know theres alot of factors to take into account but a rough estimate would be nice, cuz im kinda scared to look for a 2s partner using this lol

punisher775, I'm not in favor of quoting numbers like that because they are dependent upon player skill. Since it requires using LazyRaider, too much is dependent upon positioning, targeting, and player initiated spell casts. I can tell you advanced players typically disable ShamWOW trinket support so they can cast themselves. Same for disabling Shields on Resto Shams. You would also want to add /stopcasting to key macros so you can interrupt ShamWOW casts when manually casting a spell. You will want to macro Spiritwalker's Grace specifically. Since it allows casting while moving, its considered a movement function so falls to you to cast.

Strengths of ShamWOW include quick cleansing, purging, healing, and interrupts all on multiple targets. Weaknesses that are augmented by player skill are coordinating with team member(s) on targets, anticipating enemy player responses, kiting, etc.

In the end, the ceiling will be higher for skilled players and lower for players that depend solely upon ShamWOW.
 
I have been to 2750 rating on my mage so I know all about positioning anf whatnot, I recently sold my account and aquired a shaman and got lazy haha, many thanks for the reply and the stopcasting macros are a good idea.

I have 1 last question, as resto I have windshear set to all targets but it isnt doing it. And as enhancement its only doing it to my current target, I tried restarting hb and its not helping.
Might have to do with the combat over healing and healing only option but I dont see a healing over combat option.
Atm I cant post a log as im away for the weekend but I will post it tomorow if you need it. Maybe you have seen this issue before and can enlighten me.

hello bobby i woke up to a critical error to wow using your CC, here is my log. i have no specific time frame for you as i have no idea when it bugged out. but my wow screen was throwing a critical error in the middle of healing


Edit forget it im pretty sure he just fucked up cuz of the anti afk plugin i made. my bad.

punisher775, I have not see that issue before. Combat Style should not affect Interrupts or Purges. They do require facing the target, so if movement is disabled and they are behind you then it won't cast. If you continue to encounter the issue, please use the steps given in the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for posting and I'll research it for you. You will definately want those working well for you in Arena. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Alfelsi, Targeting is handled by the Bot, in this case the Questing Bot. The messages you clipped are relative to supplemental targeting handled by the CC which detects when you have aggroed mobs unintentionally for example. I did notice your Pull Distance is set to 20 yds whereas the max attack range for an Elemental would be a minimum of 40. I will look at this further later when I get home from work. Is the attached log file from a case where you manually targeted? If so, could you repeat without manual intervention? Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

cc is not reacting as elemental while questing, but in a dungeon resto is working fine

Dred I would suggest you delete that piece of log u posted And attach a log file as its clearly stated in the first post that snippits of log is not enough. Would save yours and bobbys time if you did this before he asks you to.

the log is around 9MB :S
I will create a new log then and post it

EDIT: I don't know what happened but it is working fine now o_o

P.S. On other BG all is ok, if i usu oldest version (ShamWOW-4508) all is ok, except that the old version is worse and more stupid behaves.

Just have a question - why bot every time and stops behind the crowd? it looks very silly when 5 players on the AV stop at the same points and are what you expect.
