ShamWOW for HB2 - An Enhance/Elemental/Resto + PVP/RaF Healbot by Bobby53

What did happen (be specific): debug log gave a stat listing and hb failed to start

cabluey, The message you copied (highlighted above) means literally what it says. It only occurs if ShamWOW.config does not exist in the CustomClasses\Config folder. If it was a problem accessing the file (rights) or a problem with the contents (syntax) a different error message would have appeared. Please download ShamWOW-4508.zip‎ [CLICK HERE] and extract ALL contents to the CustomClasses folder. If you extract only the ShamWOW folder contained within you will continue to have the problem. Hey there, just wanted to tell you that you've done a great work with this CC. I really like it, the only thing I was wondering is if there's a way to make the character run and cast lightning bolt? Since it's glyphed it's not very common to stand still and cast it nowadays. Cheers!

I have been using it for a while and can i asked i may have missed this but with the few changes in the last patch what build do you use with resto do you use the light bolt mana regen or not?

johol838, Thanks for the post, but there is insufficient information regarding the specific scenario you are describing. Elemental PVP provides some general basis, but is still too vague as there are lots of PVP environments (bgs, rated bgs, duels, arena, world pvp, ...) and even more combat scenarios (solo, ganked while grinding/questing, 2's, 3's, 5's, etc.) The best way to provide constructive criticism is to report it like an issue using the steps provided in ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE]. Specifically, enter a combat situation where the character is moving and you feel it should be casting LB wguke glyphed, then quickly note the system time on your computer. Provide that time info along with the complete debug log using the template as described in the FAQ and I'll add some behavior to support it. i was just wondering is there something im doing wrong in the config that my shaman seems to cast earth shield on mages etc,, and not the tank?

i sometimes have the same issue when using lazyraider. The easiest to fix it is by manually resetting the tank in bot config.

Hi Bobby,

something i recognized a few weeks ago, perhaps you can take a look at this points. I don't know if it is related to ShamWoW or LazyRaider, but i think it is the CC.

I read your first post, but i'm sorry i can't provide a log file. All i can say is i have all new versions of Honorbuddy, ShamWoW and LazyRaider, everything downloaded yesterday.

Setup of Totems

It doesn't matter where, 5-man or raid instance, fight starts, Bot(enhancer / restoration) starts to use first dmg/heal spells and after,sometimes up to 30 seconds, he pulls out the totems.

How about Totem logic, can't he first pull out the totems directly after he recognized, that the fight has started?


Healing Logic

That's something i totally don't understand. If i want to edit the healing logic for use in raid instances i have to edit the "RAF" settings at the "Group Healing" Tab in the CC settings.

As i want the bot to use healing rain when there is a lot of grp damage i set it up that healing rain will be used at 80%(+ healing rain target minium 4) and chain heal at 70%(+ 3 chain heal target minimum) life. If i understand the logic, the bot should now use healing rain, if the grp drops to 80% + there are at least 4 people standing together. Right?

What he does is spam chain heal.

If you can't provide any help or info without a log i will attach a log after the next raid.

Non-combat movement is the responsibility of the Bot (ShamWOW is a CC and handles movement during combat.) In this specific case, moving off the boat is the responsibility of BG Bot. You'll want to make this post in the Support forum. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

dior89, Glad its working well for you. In a Dungeon or Raid situation, ShamWOW will cast Earth Shield on the character you select as the leader. Leader selection is handled by the Bot, which in this case is LazyRaider. When using LazyRaider, click the Bot Options button and you will be able to choose the character which you follow and Earth Shield. If you have any other questions, please be sure to follow the steps in the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] so I can answer specifically in your case rather than in general. macroon, The message you copy/pasted is displayed when the ShamWOW.config file has not been installed. Please visit the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] or view the INSTALL.TXT included in the .ZIP for instructions on installing ShamWOW. The most common mistake is that users only extract the ShamWOW folder from the .ZIP and miss the Config folder. If you follow those steps and continue to have problems, please follow the steps in Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for posting an issue which included attaching a complete debug log file.

The other message you referred to is due to not loading an XML profile for the PVP Bot to work with. If this is your first usage you should switch to using the BG Bot instead as it will be easier to get going with and doesn't require you to load a profile.
