As I'd love to see this be, I'd rather see a full-working client that also protect us from getting banned. A 'beta' might give the edge to not do this.
We're just gonna have to be more patience about this, let Aevitas and the other who now working on this as much as they can do there thing.
Til then, if rotation is the only thing most of us use, lets just google a little about our clas and we might just learn how to actually play our clas x)

As I'm an old HonorBuddy-user, I'm use to these mantinence-stuff when WoW had an update, had to play by hand then and well, its just how it is.

My main-point here is: Let Aevitas be, stop 'make' him to post here if he dont have to, give them time (:

We expect the upcoming patch on tuesday or whatever to be trivial to update for, but right now we're looking at some of our core stuff that's broken (loosely related to the "function GetHealth doesn't exist!" et al spam that has been in the log for a long time). We'll need some time to fix this stuff, and at this point we're looking at possibly weeks before the bot is back up and running.

We can't say for sure as it's a fix something, then run into the next problem kind of deal, and we don't know how many issues we'll run in to before the bot is back to normal functionality.

Having said that, we'll compensate everyone for the downtime once we're back up, so even if you have bought a key on the date of the patch or after - while the bot was down - you'll be compensated.

I'll post back once we know more, and sorry for the delay. :)

Thanks for that, I just happened to repurchase the day after without even knowing there was a major expansion.
 
Bots are working for a "select" amount of people, as per usual. Can we have the bot they are using, or is it going to be like normal. only the "select" fes get to use a bot while most wait, and they make credits and we dont

This is just utter bullshit. The bot is not working and no one has an updated version.
So stop spreading false info.
 
if is heroic old mission now on lvl 65 all this spots are dailies on my server yday was 5 instances and on spots there is was full with bots now players do dailies because there is all heroics now are dailies 5-6 per planet

Well yeah obviously. From a professional point of view I can tell you that even the build we have at the moment is professionally broken.
 
I bought the 3-day session to test the bot, only to watch forums for 3 days, without being able to start up the bot.

But I bet that my 3-day session is running out since the moment i used the key to Log In to malfunctioning BuddyWing.

If that is the case, will I be compensated with new 3-day session (after the bot is working again ofc)?

If you read a few posts up, Aevitas mentions there will be compensation for the extended down time.

Oh! I apologize then, should have read the whole thread more carefully. I'll be waiting patiently from now on, I know that developing a bot is _not_ a piece of cake. :)
 
Yea I also bought the bot for 3 days when there was a downtime :(

I have one question is there any speculated date when the bot will be ready?
 
I agree rotation base beta bot would be nice to use. Good luck to the devs! Maybe talk to some WOW devs on this one?
 
Hey Aevitas,

You think it would be possible, given the drastic changes to the core game, to get something to us that will attach and let us pull X, Y, Z coords? That way we can get started writing new profiles for doing heroics and the like.
 
@Aevitas Can you Please take a look at the issue with stealthing in warzones/pvp, when the bot won't attack the player that recently came out of stealth please? This has been an issue for a while and I would like to get back into the game again.

This particular problem is also an issue in PVE. If you were targeting certain bosses (final boss DF) when they disappear at the start of a fight then it will lock-up the bot or sometimes hard crash the game. Other bosses who vanish and teleport around just cause the game not to be able to do damage. All targeted abilities besides aoe are grayed out. (This sometimes happens without using the bot, so I suspect that it's a game issue. It happens way more frequently when using BW.)
