Rift Bot - Yet Another Rifting Profile!

Im useing the Rift Bot Common.xml one. On a barb, and when he gets to the end of level two, sees the portal or gate or whatever, his dumb-ass goes all the way back to the START of level 2 trying to find 1 or 2 mobs he missed. Massive waste of time. I have to manually lead him through the portal to start grinding mobs on the next level.

Is this intended?

This is an awesome concept, will be pretty sweet once it's 100% afkable, looking forward to it! =D

I'm aware of the problem he is having in rare cases bot gets drawn away so far that he wont re-approach the chest.. its mainly due to combat range testing a fix for it right now simply reducing combat range during the event to 30.. should do the trick and reset after. Btw nice work you make me look like a slacker:) Looks like we should have all the damn Tower maps soon:)
 
I'm still using the old package from the first post, using Trinity .24, and release version I think .357? Still works great, and I still update the profiles through the SVN as necessary.

Curious if there is any reason to update? Looks like a lot of great work has been done, was just wondering.
 
I just want to add if you ever get stuck using the compilation package/this profile, It's a Demonbuddy memory map cache issue. Nothing anyone but the developers can do about it.

The bot tries to find a path to areas that does not exist. That's why it gets stuck.

How do we delete squares?

Seems to happen pretty frequent enough to go unnoticed...

Using the Explore profile with the suggested package.
 
Hello again guys,
Been trying v07 for 24 hours straight and got 2 things to report.

1. The profile now works awesomely :)))
2. It got stuck only twice, both times in Pandemonium fortress maps, and the weird thing is that the gold inactivity timer did not kick in. If I pause the game for more than 3 minutes and then un-pause it, the gold inactivity works just fine....
Is it a trinity or a DB issue? I wonder also if the 07 package will work with std version of DB?

1. Got stuck during a quest of cursed chest, this happened to me as well, would appreciate for any solutions.

2. Disconnected in 3 min. from a whole new created game, log is as below:

I am currently having an issues with the ACT 4 Bounties section. Mainly the Cursed Chest event. I just stop moving altogether, usually its fairly close to the Chest but it like wigs out or something. I have no issues providing you with whatever info you need however I am not 100% sure what you need. This is the only error I see in the log.

When I use "Rift Bot Explore with Bounties" profile, the bot stops after completing 5 bounties in act4, not sure where I did wrong:

I am running the profile "Rift Bot Common With Bounties" so fare I havent had any issues but entering Counselor's Trail 1

it said:

[Trinity] Visited all nodes but objective not complete, forcing grid reset!

and it just stands still, I have read your entire post - I might be setting it up wrong, but cant see the mistake(if there is any)

hope you can help :)

EDIT: Stopping the bot and starting it, worked

I am trying the v07 package with DB std (not BETA) to check if the gold inactivity timer not engaging problem is solved for me...

Will tell you how it goes :)
 
Any barb can recomend a good build to clear fast?
Currently started running this on my barb as my monk has almost everything i needed for my build and i'd like to speed things up

And on a more on topic note: The profile runs like a charm with v07 for me, so far i've seen only a few stucks, all related to combat range or weird stuff but the bot resumes almost immediatelly and continues to run the rift
 
Maybe TP back -> TP to another map -> TP back to refresh the map cache?

Only my guess. I have no idea how DB refreshes the cache. I also have no idea whether plugins can manually reset cache.

That could work. Can you try and make that change to the profile? Are you experiencing these issues aswell?
