[Release] RebornBuddy Version 1.0.461

Thanks for the new update. But is it still not possible to choose between sprint or no sprint? cos sprint still really looks like botting...and everyone is actually doing the same thing which makes it easy to raise gms attention
 
how long will it usually take for an update for this program after SE releases an update?

What?! Sprint makes it look like botting?! Everyone sprints everywhere. It's a function designed to help with farming and short distance travelling.
 
Offsets have been updated for todays patch. no need to download an update.

Don't blacklist targets in most of the questtags, they usually just become untargetable anyway.
 
Restart the bot. Just pushed the updated offsets.
 
After the update I am not always running up to mobs on pugilist in fatebot. It will target the mob and sit like a dozen or so yards away just waiting to attack.

EDIT: reverting to 1.0.164 (the latest download that I have since I allowed the updater to update the next version after that) has fixed the issue.

Why are you telling people not to use a 3rd party Routine? Shouldn't you be promoting the use of 3rd party routines as it may reduce nagging and takes workload off of your shoulders? I've been a Buddy for quite a while with Honorbuddy and I have not seen a developer actively try and tell people not to use another persons Routine. I don't know what's going on between you and Exmortem, but it's causing your customers to suffer because they aren't getting the regular updates that they were used to anymore.

If this is how the attitude will be to 3rd party routine developers, then I don't see this bot being able to get a fraction as big as Honorbuddy. Just my 2 cents on that matter.

Also, you made a statement stating that RePear was full of fail to someone on the forums. That's honestly a step in the right direction in getting more functionality in the game and it works well for me so I don't see it as "Full of Fail".

I have no idea what your talking about. I treat the 3rd party stuff the same as honorbuddy: If there is an issue with the bot and you are using something not supplied by us,we cannot help you.

Then state, "We don't support Magitek, it seems like the issue you are having is with Magitek. I would recommend utilizing Kupo until Magitek is updated by its developer."

Telling someone to blatantly not use a routine makes it sound like they should only use Kupo solely.

Also, Exmortem made a statement in one of his replies stating that he won't support Magitek until you support the bot. That's why I'm under the impression there may be a little bit of tension between him and you. Maybe solely on his end, but it may be there.

I don't think he's ever used Magitek. Mastagh lives in a world where he believes Kupo is adequate, it's either that or he has neglected working on Kupo because Magitek was there but since he's telling people NOT to use it, that's doubtful. At this point Magitek is abandoned, there is a much better routine out there but it doesn't support all jobs yet.

As for all the requests, i'm sorry they're not going to be served and should be redirected towards Kupo. It's been enjoyable working with Magitek but i'm gonna move onto developing for WoW before the expansion.

Nevermind, he has abandoned Magitek. Sad day.
 
Honestly RebornBuddy is no different than HonorBuddy or DemonBuddy. The bots themselves are bare bones/barely working with all of them. It's the third party routines/bot bases/profiles/etc. that really make them shine (which of course wouldn't be possible without the bot itself).

It's just a shame that RebornBuddy hasn't attracted more developers. We're slowly starting to get decent profiles and plugins, and there's currently another combat routine in development (although it's a ways off from being released). Hopefully RebornBuddy will come into its own someday soon.

For me, a guy who doesn't code, it would be helpful to explain why magitek isn't working. From my end of things it doesn't really make sense that Magitek should stop working, but what do I know? lol

I realize you have a lot on your plate, so I wasn't going to bring it up. I am happy using an old version (for the time being) seeing as how every time I update I seem to have a new problem or another (while I never have the problems that the update was intended to fix in the first place).

I went with Magitek since it was always touted as the best on the forums. If whatever happened here broke Magitek, that's a shame, I would just like to understand why, if possible.
