You children ***** me up, such little fanboys. The simple fact is that the devs have a proven track record of failing to meet deadlines over and over. You know why I like companies like Blizzard and Arena.net as a company? Because they do not give a release date until they are absolutely sure they can meet that date.
Remember the release of the SWTOR bot? I do...There was no word from development team until the day the bot was be to released that it wasn't ready for release. They let us know that day that the release was at least 3 weeks out.
Remember the release of the Diablo bot? I do...The exact same thing happened with that bot as well.
One things for damn sure. If I were a software dev, I would follow in the steps of companies that I respect and not give a release date until I was absolutely sure I could meet that date. It happens far too often these days with games. Months and months of delays.
Go ahead and continue to tell me to code my own bot. If I were to do that, you wouldn't know my bot would be ready for release until I was damn sure it was ready. Both the SWTOR and Diablo bot were working when they announced weeks-long delays, so that argument is invalid.
I love the bots that this team has released, I have used all of them except the WoT bot. Do I think the dev team does a good job of meeting stated deadlines? Hell no, not even close. They keep stabbing themselves in the foot over and over when it comes to release dates.
