Question to users with 8-15 clients running

since updating to the new community trinity i get this lag too.

Actually, it's done this ever since they split the cs file into multiple parts in whichever version that was. It just doesn't work right. They need to go back to v0.45 and start over because they broke it.

Yep @ thread creater Its definitiv trinity i got myself n highend PC and Spikes from trinity.... If i downgrade IT IT Works Well! So maybe just use another trinity... Sad is only that you Dont have the lootrules from dark There but Its far more stable

will the .6 versions run dbtag or other move to profiles w/o radsatom?

the inna's vix is another big concern... keeping buffed sweeping winds would be a nother big loss.

is there an edited .6.x trinity with all these fixes for dl somewhere?

Damn, i have the same issue here.. CE trinity running on 2 bots only, but still getting performance issues. It is rather strange, tho. It seems that memory consumption builds up over time. It starts at ~3gb and slowly goes 3.12, 3.13,3.15 all the way up to 4 than almost 5 gb. This is wrong, should not be doing it, im pretty sure about that. And the 05-1 sec freezes start to happen. Eventually the games will crush. I have no idea what this is about, but i remember back before i started using CE trinity it did not happen... I am not using VMs any more, nor Isboxer. Simply running 2 instances of d3 with the loader Apoc wrote.

i feel your pain as ive even tore my computer back down to the case and rebuilt it as well as drivers and cant fix it.

so... if it is indeed trinity or at least thats the consensus. can someone that is running 8-15 clients stable please upload their trinity and 1 profile with settings in a small post or something so others can test it and figure it out by process of elimination?

I just want to know for sure thats its not my hardware. after that, i want to maximize the number of clients i can run, but the hardware worry is pissing me off =(

^ im almost 100% sure its not your hardware.... cause your not the only one

I dont wana sound like an asshole... but im kinda happy im not alone lol

i guess later tonight before i have to wrap presents i'll try a clean install of everything using .45 and see if it helps unless breaking news changes everything.

i use trinity scoring with custom pickup. i want no stutter/freeze or atleast minimal and keep sweeping wind up. curious to hear your findings.

I'm having same issues with 1 of my computers,

FX-8350,
2x8gb ram,
6870.
1tb Sata III, 7200.

it has nothing to do with the splitting in many .cs files or so, I also get those 0.5 sec hangups with trinity 1.6.3.4 (v38CE slightly modded). It happens randomly during combat but its easy reproduceable while town run after stashing.

I guess it is just poorly coded / threaded. If you look at the code of Belphegor and then at Trinity its actually pretty obvious.

I have had up to 23 clients on 1 machine without any real lag. I guess its just about system config

Not sure about that one. Yes, 1.6.3.4 and 0.45 did have small stutters here and there, but with everything 1.7 and up some people are getting lockups all the time of several seconds or more. I mean it just completely stops for like 5 seconds sometimes. The one that was in the questing pack, sometimes it would just stop completely, and you would have to restart DB, but as soon as DB was closed diablo would start working again. It's all fucked up :(

enlighten us with some specs and plugin/profile settings? there has to be someone willing to help those of us in need that have the knowledge.

supermicro server dual Xeon E5630 server 64 GB of RAM dual GTX 285s (I think they are 285s) 4 1TB 7200RPM sata 3 HDDs LSI Megaraid SATA 3 RAID controller and battery. OS Windows 2k8R2 server. Each bot runs on a Windows 7 Hyper-V instance with 1.5 GB of RAM 2 virtual processor cores and about 128MB of GDDR5 RAM for graphics processing. Profiles ect doesnt matter cuz each instance only runs 1 bot. These are real virtual machines not like what you get with vmware workstation/player these actually increase the number of bots I can put on 1 machine because it partitions off resources and when one of the bots corrupts memory or worse it only affects that little section of resources and not the whole machine like it would on a desktop.

I have a server ready that can be leased out to a serious botter. It will run 20+ VMs/Bots on a private *** with 5 public IP addresses for 500.00 USD a month.

I had to cap my war that i still play for fun in wow arena's and played it 1680 res at 80fps+ with 0 stutter /snag while the d3 clients ran concurrently. I now have considerable less doubt in my hardware, not 1 missed pummel / reflect / charge in 20+ arena games due to any stutter what so ever. meanwhile the d3 clients continue to stutter out the corner of my eye.

Not real sure how to fix the issue or what to do different, but moving forward something needs to happen =/

Yes Nesox needs to integrate Trinity features and the Belphegor programmer too (but not everything, in some things like avoidance Belph is better already)

what did you find out during your tests? i ran some .45 and it was "less" stutter/snags but was also much more frequent stucks and noticible less xp/hr which was due to stucks prolly. the fact it still had snag/stutters makes it not outweigh .9 for me unless again i did something wrong.
