[Profile] Brutal Key Farm

i must have done somthiung qwrong even following your guide when i open the folder and right click create Git it ask me for the path to git or w/e, so let me ask you this when i go to your GIT site and see all the changes i have a page that is for quest tools and gives me the option to gownload and when i do it makes a file called root.zip when i extract it it has all the quest tool files, is this the most current changes or will this not work
i actually just gt the git to set up but question still stands is the root.zip file the same as the git files

wow i was searching everywhere on assembla for a simple way to download and completely missed it. Yes that root.zip should be the latest files. You would only need to install the git software then if you wanted the advanced features to download specific versions, diff files etc.

been running stable for a hour or so only thing i notice is some times when hes killed warden and is in the middle of porting and a mob interrupts him, after he kill the mob he just stands there and spams steed charge but wont teleport again, only way to get him to straighten out is to manually move him from the spot hes in and then he teleports like normal, other wise everything is looking good
 
Is there a way you can work better balancing logic into a future release? The "don't do highest Act" is nice, but cutting it down to the lowest two acts if there's a significant key imbalance would be great too.

Yes, next version will have smarter logic for excluding keys if key counts above/below median, upper/lower quartile etc.
 
hi, have a question. profile works fine I think, but the bot skips a3? only does a1, 2 and 4? what i have done wrong?
 
In zerg mode when the bot finds the key warden he just stands still and does nothing.

Done everything mentioned in the git guide.

I have been following the replies here, I have yet to try this yet but I am curious has anyone had success with this profile, it seems to go a bit crazy for most people replying.

I am just curious because a lot of times people will only post when something is wrong, and people who are running smooth wont post.

Can anyone post success stories? running smooth? How many A1/2/3/4 keys do you have, how many does this this profile typically net you, what toon / build?

for some reason i dont understand i cant install the git thingy,i download it and start the installer, and then i get Error reading from file, C:users:username:downloads/tortoiseGit-1.8.11.064bit.msi. verify that the file exists and you can access it.
Im the only user and admin on the pc and i have never met this error before, iv tried downloading and older version and i get the same issue
 
ya i have now run it for 8 hours as far as pathing and kiling the keywarden it all looks good and when i watch the bot he does pick up keys but as i said before some tiimes after the bot kills the warden in all the acts, he gets interrupted and then he wont cast the portal again the game just hits the inactivity timer
here is the log perhaps it might help figure out the issue

Bot skips acts that you already have lots of keys for, there's also a spawn location in A2 which is bugged so if you get that one it will just skip the act.

Have you enabled the 'Enable Beta Features' checkbox in plugins -> questtools -> config? from your log snippet... MoveToActor finished (isDone=true), but you should have seen this [QuestTools][MoveToActorTag] Can't find actor! using last known position <2028.491, 728.9233, 0.1> Distance=63.79044 at that point.

you can just skip all this and download from this Git application stuff and use the link https://www.assembla.com/code/questtools/git/nodes/master?_format=zip it will always give you the latest version from GIT >> Go to step 10 Turn on "Enable Beta Features" checkbox, in Questtools settings.

TPS is really low too, usually i'm at ~15 tps, but with this profile i'm between 5 and 8. And i'm running with a i5-3570K
 
Yes i have enable beta features in QT.. and i didn't this this yellow line as you mentionned.. I tried normal version and it works great, and i saw the line "[QuestTools][MoveToActorTag] Can't find actor! using last known position...." in yellow, but never saw it with zerg profile

18 hours of farming and the bot still running this profile.

Help needed with 1.05

Hello,

Great bot, however since upgrading to 1.05 (using Brutal-Key-Farm_Normal.xml) bot doesn't work in A1 anymore, just skips it and starts new game after A4->A3->A2 is done.
1.02 worked very good for me though.

Currently using:
Demonbuddy 1.1.2150.383
Trinity 2.1.21
QuestTools from GIT (3.0.0.) with Beta Features enabled
Brutal Key Farm 1.05

Act1 seems a little buggy for now, here are the results i got after 3 hours run :

Also for the zerg profile not attacking, i tried version 1.0.2 zerg that was working fine with db beta .485, trinity 2.1.21 and QT 2.1.38, so it seems that the problem do not comes from the profile but from QT or Trinity no ?
