[Professionbuddy] AHBuddy - Full Auction House Bot

The guide for using and installing the bot is really confusing.
So i unzipped the profile in the Professionbuddy -> Profiles folder. I load the profile.
Then i want to test it for buying some ghost iron ore that costs less than 1g50s0c per piece.
I go to profile settings: and put True for "Buy Ore" and "False" for other buy/deposit/post/cancel options.
Then i right click -> edit my AHBuddy.xml file

i go to this line and modify as follows:
<BuyItemFromAhAction ItemListType="Item" ItemID="72092" MaxBuyout="1g50s0c" Amount="600" BuyAdditively="True" AutoFindAh="True" BidOnItem="True" />

What should i do to the other lines such as Kyparite Ore, White Trillium Ore etc?
If they are setup like this:
<BuyItemFromAhAction ItemListType="Item" ItemID="72093" MaxBuyout="0g0s0c" Amount="0" BuyAdditively="False" AutoFindAh="True" BidOnItem="True" />
will it buy anything?

What is BuyAdditively for?

If you don't want to buy a specific item, keep it as max buyout 0g0s0c. That literally means that that is your max buyout price so you won't be buying any of it.... Or.... If you know you won't ever buy the item, just simply delete that part of the profile. I never read the instructions on how to edit the profile but I have learnt to read the actual profile. After a while you will get the hang of it. Also amount is he amount of stacks you want to purchase for the x amount of gold you set in the max buyout price

Zak, I dont know if you are reading the messages from Skype but PLEASE - make it sell the same amount of stacks that it buys. I know its a huge pain in the ass to change all those lines but it f**ks up everything because i have my bags and everything full. I'm sure it's same for everybody else. Or hurry up with that editor so we can select ourselves the amounts and items

Suddenly my bot spends AGES at the mailbox, and rarely goes back to the AH.. And I havent changed any settings regarding wait-timer or anything.
I do have a lot of C.O.D-items in my mailbox, does that have anything to say?

Anyways, just posting logs incase you can see anything from that.

EDIT: Removed all the COD in my mail, and now it's working perfect again. It did work earlier though, even with unopened COD. Weird.

Hey Zak, the bot is undercutting itself, it didnt skip and say "Skipping <item> since 1 items from me are already posted. Max amount is 1... it posted once and the next post cycle it posted again even tho it wasnt undercutted and the item was on top and the maximum amount is set to 1.

I'm gonna redo how COD mail is handled, which should solve all the issues with it.

Hi, so I've been trying AHBuddy for a few days now and it's not really working the way it should. I tried both the original AHBuddy from this topic and I also bought beta access to MyAHBuddy BETA. Both profiles don't work proper.

When I start the bot the first thing is that it stays stuck retrieving mail for atleast a few minutes, even when my mailbox is completely empty. The next thing is that sometimes it does work and it will post all auctions, most of the time it will only post a few of the items in my bag. In any case the bot will stop working after some time sometimes after 3 minutes, sometimes after 10. It will just stop doing anything and just stand still near the auctioneer untill I restart.

So basically it has its moments where everything works as it should, but these moments only last for a few minutes. I've never been able to have the bot working for longer than 30 minutes. And the minutes that it does work it stays for minutes at the mailbox, even when my inbox is completely empty. I could really use some help with this.

Your log just shows the plugin buddycon spamming messages.

I have never tried to use the bot for AH automation until this week and I am loving it except for one small drawback that I need to find a workaround for. I have a small group of glyph sellers on my server that I have "joined forces" with over the last 3 years... we have a long term standing whitelist using TSM. Is there a way for AHBuddy to whitelist other players so I dont undercut them when posting glyphs?

No, there is no way to whitelist other players. You could try and make a request for it to be added to professionbuddy http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...nbuddy-profession-leveling-bot-plus-more.html.

Nowhere do i see any option for changing any prices.. all i get is the options to turn things on or off and mail etc.. Where do i actually change prices? Do i have to manually type this in the XML?

Try a fresh honorbuddy install. There's no errors showing up in your log. This issue will be caused by professionbuddy and I haven't heard of anyone else having this specific issue.

It's easier editing the xml directly, just find the buyout attribute for the items you plan on selling/buying. There's also the AHBuddy editor which is coming along nicely
