[Professionbuddy] AHBuddy - Full Auction House Bot

This bot is fantastic. Unfortunately, as others have seen, it does require some wrappers to get working the way I wanted it to - ie: populating accurate min/max prices.

There are additional features that would be nice, like being able to set a threshold on when to undercut... ie: if there are 99 of Turnip on sale for 100g, but then one of them is selling for 75g, you would want to undercut 100g not 75g! This is assuming minbuyout is set to below 75g.

Anyways, great work!


My one MAJOR gripe... using this as horde in orgrimmar, it's not AFKable as it gets stuck sometimes near the mailbox. This can obviously lead to a ban. Is there perhaps a better place to be using this bot?

God dont you love when everything works as intended...

I now have a FULLY working verstion of AHBuddy this bad boy does EVERYTHING....

1) Cancel auction - Working
2) GDeposit - Working
3) GWithdraw - Working
4) Mailbox - Working
5) AH - Working
6) Overall behavior - Working

Half tempted to sell localization for this thing LOL Total time spent getting this working was 25 hours just for basic functionality.

There is a way to make it work Mendi trust me... just got that section fuctioning myself. LOL It will take never ending updateing to keep it working right but no worries now that i know how to do it.


Edit : there is a way to avoid that also if you want to deal with the lag of org look at your items for anything autofind that = baddie. and there is ALOT of it to change hundreds and hundreds of lines.

You're right, "IgnoreStackSizeBelow", I was just speculating that it wasn't supported! :)
 
Oh yea it works just fine.. but dosnt stop the baddie bots like what happened today on a server of mine.. some ass hat bots had fool's cap on ah for 60g a stack normal price is 110 on that server.

Needless to say i bought 110 stacks of fools cap and going to make some good money for free.
 
Actually, is IgnoreStackSizeBelow actually working for you, when it comes to canceling undercut items?

I've noticed, that if IgnoreStackSizeBelow="20" for an item, it will accurately post the item based on the lowest 20+ stack auction. However, it doesn't seem to ignore it when it comes to scanning to cancel undercut items!

Ie: 20x stacks of Turnips are selling for 20g a pop, with one Turnip for sale at 15g. AHBuddy will post the Turnip for 19g99s99c, or w/e, but then will cancel the auction on the next go because of the ONE 15g Turnip!
 
It posts stacks of 20 instead of 1, even though i changed it in the config.
And it isn't undercutting at all
 
Hello, I am very new to this and I do not know how to code...

I start AHbuddy and everything is showing as it should in my log. But after it has scanned thru herbs, mines.. etc etc it comes to Reef Octopus where it stops?
It doesn't continue, it just stops there... If I manually try to move my character, it runs back (wich means the bot is still on) but the log says nothing and my character does nothing... any help? plz I appriciate every help I can get!

Here's my log... (I restarted the bot a few times)

the difference is in the name, additively

say you have 3 golden lotus, and your programed to withdraw 20 from the bank.. do you want to withdraw additively so you have 23.. or do you want to draw from the guildbank giving you a stack of 20 when its done. i'm betting you dont notice a difference, because you never have partial stacks on you.

at first glance from your log it would appear that you have a bug in the script for spinefish not reef octopus. please post the line of script for spinefish so i can see where the problem is.

you can see up above at 16:21 it searches for the reef octopus and moves on to 80242.. which is the spinefish id. it does hang there for a good solid minute.

i LOL'd when i read this. you are complaining that you dont want other BOTS to unfairly compete vs your BOT... how do you think all the people that play the game manually feel about your BOT competing with their actual gameplay?

if you bot, as we all do, you have pretty much given up the ability to make the "unfair competition" argument.

hey guys for some reason the bot only posts for 0copper into the AH.
Can anybody tell me what ive done wrong?
 
Anyone got a script to fill out prices for this yet?

ive heard it can be done with a simple batch file.
