[PAID] [Priest] Insanity - An Advanced Honorbuddy Shadow Priest Routine [PvE/PvP]

I mainly play PvP (RBG's). Looking for some guidance on best practice for class config settings (which boxes to check/uncheck) similar to the guidance link you have on your mage's page (this site).

- Changes to targeting.
- Will accept targets with Garrosh Hellscream's Mind Control (Touch of Y'Shaarj) as being a valid target.

Was targeting really the only thing you have changed, because to me it currently seems like a lot of more Deeeps is being made =) AWSOME ! ! !

On a sidenote I am pretty sure it uses potion even though I have set it to only do so with Hero/TW/BL - but I have noticed it sometimes does even though these are not cast? Maybe I am wrong?

Hmm there isn't one, but a big issue for a shadow priest in PvP is mana control - so you need to be careful about how many DoTs you're applying, and how you're using high mana utilities (like mass dispel).

Others may be able to help you out - I know ginuwine12 is a hardcore PvPer using Insanity

I spent hours the other night trying to squeeze more DPS out of the routine - I made some minor changes (especially when talented for S&I), but all changes kept leading back to the rotation that it's currently doing.

I'll check out the potion usage stuff.

- Routine will no longer cast Void Tendrils and Psychic Scream together.
- Void Tendrils will no longer cast on units which have Psychic Scream.
- Psychic Horror on melee units with cooldowns is using code to help triggering the condition.
- Added Glyph of Fade support -> Fade on Low HP %.
- Started work on multi-language support.
- Changed the interrupting self code to be more intelligent as to when to cancel.
- Added pause routine on non-movement key press (manual casting). Credits to TuanHA.
- Added 'Silence Healer When Target < 30% HP'.
- Should no longer cast a normal Mind Flay after Mind Flay (Insanity).

ah guys befor i forgt this one when you pvp , set the Refresh Time on dot power increase to zero 0 , its not needed to apply new dots when some stuff proccs like trinkets etc , but if you play pve musst change it like in the PvE.xml file again, in pvp ist all about the proccs and how fast you get it and hit the target hard with it , and go for int > haste at ( 8085) > crit > mastery >. for pvp dots its ok to take 3x3 or 4x4 VT and sw 100% 51% mana , 3x2 when mana between 50% and 21% , and 3 vt x 1 sd:w less than 20% , best talent to take for rbg bgs stuff is from darkness comes light . enbale targeting in the CR

Side note, Millz. I know this is technically a profile issue, but wanted to let you know that Insanity has the problem that Demonic had/has during questing where while on a Mount it will just sit there taking damage and won't dismount. If I manually hit an attack spell it'll auto-knock me off the mount and then will go into full "destroy everything" mode.

Just an FYI.

Questing bot base ? There's code in to override dismounting in all other bots, but it caused issues with questing.

Guess if you can't override it (as I understand code stomping on code badly) I just have to babysit it more (which is fine) as getting killed while my dude sits on his mount is pretty crappy to come back to.

If you turn the logging level up to 'Diagnostic' - when it gets stuck on the mount, in the Honorbuddy log file, does it say something like "BotPOI set to kill" then a unit name or something?... but still stay on the mount? If so then I might be able to hook that.

New user as of today. I run 2200+ on several bot dependent classes. BGBUDDY base the toon chases it's target with no dismount. It must be the CR as other routines don't do this. Tonight I will troubleshoot and attach a log.

huhu beyou i already post about this stuff what you pm for the settings , most importent part is to set Refresh Time on dot power increase at 0 ( for pvp ) and adjust how many dots you want for better mana mangament too if you despel agressiv your target or your team mats .oh and framelock enbaled with 30 ticks stage 2 antilag.

hey ok you can try this for rbg , make sure enable continuous healing mode in Tyrael bot base , than when go you in the CR under shadow look at the silence settings and set it up how you want and the pysfiend i take it with only logic heal cc thats mean he well fear any healers around at 40% when he come from CC out to heal the target who is at 30% he well get silence to get the kill or change it to what you like sir . i uplaod you the same setting from GreenHornet .let me know how its works for you do some bgs and lets see
edit : but pls look at the self healsettings a set it a bit lower so at 50% for renew and power word shield so if you have a dizi heal in your raid that he well not get a problem to heal you because of the debuff from weakened soul

and under General you find the toggel spam self heal (flash heal ) i set it with hotkey alt+q.enable it only when you need to heal your self than desable it when ou are full life
