[PAID] [Priest] Insanity - An Advanced Honorbuddy Shadow Priest Routine [PvE/PvP]

So I've looked through the logs, and can't see anything wrong. I've updated my HB to .705 and it's running fine here. What are you experiencing? Need pretty specific details as to what doesn't appear to be working / any anomalies in the behaviour.

Hm. That's strange. What I am experiencing is that my Lock does nearly no DPS just looks like it starts to cast and the abort the cast over and over. Does very Little DPS both on the newly released honorbuddy and the previous one.

I just ran SOO normal with my priest. At first I tried runing insanity on the new version of HB - a fresh and clean install even. Only a few minutes into the raid wow crashed togehter with HB. Then restarted WOW and did the rest of the SOO raid finish with previous version of HB and current Insanity version. No problems, except still oom'ing on spoils of pandaria even though I have tried to maximize all mana preserving settings.

With the mage I also experience som Lock in framerate and lower DPS on the new version than on the old version.

But if the logs dont reveal anything wrong I dont know what to do?

Anyway cheers for your help and the awsome routines!
 
milz about last release with addon. can we get minimap toogle to turn off it when not needed ?

Try enabling the anti-lag and CanCast functions on the Advanced tab to see if it's any better. Really not sure though !

milz about last release with addon. can we get minimap toogle to turn off it when not needed ?

I would, if I knew how :)

Might add a command like /millz toggle - i can do that :P
 
Aight, im back again. I noticed he doesnt refresh dots 3 seconds before they run out (as i had in settings) and he doesnt apply them if there are more than 1 boss, f.ex on paragons of the klaxxi. This is really annoying cause i am losing all my Multi dot DPS. Log provided, read towards the end. View attachment 4880 2013-11-13 10.58.txt
 
huhu Milz me again:D well its srs problem every time , when its multi dotting its doing great , but its just go so hard to keep alle the dots up and wast so much on proccs from mindblast ,plauge, mindspike . i tryed to set the vlaue scale on the dot from 30% to 100% , tryed to set mutli dotting lower 3x2 4x3 2x2 nothing help . need somthing just dots 3-4 units than plauge> mindblast > mindspike<< priority>>. i i git some many proccs maybe because i am full gear in pvp and over the breakpinkt for extra tick on pain and vt at 8085 i get so many proccs . <3 thank you f?r patince. all this haeads pain problem didnet notice it on dummy so much . well when i do rbg /bgs have this problem huge.

i run the CR with framelock off . i canot run it in frame on tried every thing nothing helped me and my pc is midl High end . tryed the plugin from Mirabis still drop the fps from 110 to 20/15 randomly . i am just let you know whats happend . well i play it better with framelock off maybe its something in HB self .

DoTs will drop if it has something else to do of a higher priority (Mind Blast, Mind Flay (Insanity)) - but it shouldn't be casting a standard Mind Flay ahead of SWP/VT.

Turning framelock off is the reason why it's missing procs. 20 FPS is still playable, it's certainly not a slideshow at that point.

Turn framelock on, and reduce the TPS down (even down to 5-10 if need be).

Enable both of these;

i just pick random log , thats not mean i didnet try those both i tryed every thing . with both cancast and antilage frame on 10/ 15 / 20 than its come to shuttring and little lag spikes. your are right when frame on it is fast overall . but who would play with the shuttring and those little lag spikes . i read from many in the fourm they have same issues with framelock and they have good pcs like Mario (beta tester etc) . maybe its something in HB .

You shouldn't need to turn off the CanCast / Anti-Lag settings - they make a big difference to the overall speed of the rotation.

You should also disable any settings you don't really want/need, which increases the routines performance.

Try turning the TPS down to 5 ~ 10 and see what it's like too.

I'll run some performance tracing today/tomorrow when I'm at home to see if there's any overly intensive checks that's causing issues.

- Changed cache timers on sorting units to be friendly/hostile.
- Logging now displays orb count.
- DoTManager will now wait until we've been out of combat for 15 seconds before clearing the tracker.
- Abilities will be cast 'over' Mind Flay, rather than cancelling MF and then casting (would cause a delay equal to your latency value every time it was required).
- Fixed a potential minor pausing issue with DoTing.
- Single target PvE has been re-written. Now perfectly mirrors SimulationCraft's logic (with the bonus of DoTManager's system).

Will push to SVN later.

i did a randomArathi Basin bg since the last update well very very nice ! need some gear for the next hastebreakpoint than <3 . damn they dead so fast hoped they didnt die so fast .. to do more dmg :D

Right click the folder -> Update from SVN

You need TortoiseSVN installed though (it's free - google it)

Works fine on 4 test dummies. But if I build up 2 procs and then start bot it still multi dots before casting the procs.

Also it keeps using Mind blast when under 15k Mana. Please make sure procs are still being used when low on mana as they cost no mana. (Haven't paid attention to it.)

Wow, 10 targets - I'm not surprised you're having mana issues. I've got mine at SWP 4, VT 3.

It should use Mind Spike procs above multi-dotting when you've got 2 stacks, otherwise it'll DoT, then use MS (with exception to the current target, which will always apply DoTs too first).

But I would like to see proc being used even before dotting main target because of hard switches I would rather have the instant pressure.
 
Hey Millz, yesterday I had troubles with the CR. Logs dont say nothing but the CR was stopping at some point when the raid popped hero and I went over 100% haste.

Its like my haste was fucking over the CR

I'm half tempted to stop SWP multi-dotting at all when you get below 10% mana or something.

You should really drop the values from 10 though, that's an excessively high number of units to DoT, you'll be doing barely any single target DPS because it's spending the whole time trying to DoT everything..

SWP = 18s Duration
- Refresh @ 3s = 15s between applying @ 1s between cast (GCD)


VT = 15s Duration
- Refresh @ 4.5s = 10.5s between applying @ 1.5s between casts


Without doing anything else, and only chain applying SWP, the max number of units you can apply to is 15. For VT - It's 7.


To apply both SWP and VT to a unit, the max you can keep up is ~4-5.

Combine that with using procs, it's not going to keep those sort of rates up.

I'll increase Mind Spike's priority above DoTing when in PvP.
