Poll: Would you still play WOW without botting?

I would definitely only play 1 character, maybe two. I tried to level my first toon from 85-90 and gave up at 85 1/4. I think I am just so tired of leveling that I hate the idea of actually focusing on quests I don't know, or actually using wowhead. I really wonder the amount of hours that can be played on an account with 5 or more 85s+ without a ban. I have 8 85s and 3 80s, and I am tempted to go 24/7 and see if I ever get a ban, but its so scary, not really sure why though, I really don't plan to play most the toons, and I would never have 11 toons without a bot anyways. I would hate to lose my names though, but who am I kidding, my account has never been banned and if I can get SoRs back after 2 or 3 bans, I'll be damned if I can't get my huge legit account back.

How many hours do you guys bot on your mains? (I realize my reply is the only one on in the last 2 months besides 1 more btw)

My main has been online for about 70 hours now. In my botting career, I've got banned just once, during the Wowglider banwave.
I had a warlock @ 70, botting in AV for days. Got reported 20+ times, never got banned. Still using that account today, with 26 x 85's, and 5 x 90's as we speak.

i just want to start botting to make some things easier
farming mats for professions is really time consuming.

with two kids (2,5 years and 2 month) you can't play like a nerd
and i definitely don't want to neglect my family.



i really enjoy to play each alt =)
played all classes to 90 (2x), 85 (6x) or 80 (2x),
now i'm leveling a heal monk with my girlfriend (tank monk)

The only reason I started playing regularly again with my arthritis is Lazyraider so no I literally could not play without it.

I mainly use lazy raider. I don't mind walking around, but having to jam the same buttons in the same order over and over again gets boring. I probably will only be back a short while. They didn't add much content with this expansion compared to the last.

I played wow for about five years now and, needed to end it. HB was just the thing i needed.

After my account was banned for using MMOmimc, back in the WOTLK days i took a break for one year. I started again in Cata, and raided endgame DS HC.

BUT

After some time i realized that this game is a fast way to earn some cash to supply my education. So i used my knowledge in the game and bots, and started to make quite a good profit on it.

In the MOP i sold my two main accounts, and only botting for gold at the moment. And if you ask me now I would DEFIANTLY stop right away. I just <3 Honorbuddy too much

If you have no interest in playing the game legit, (in my opinion) it isn't worth botting either unless you use it a money source.

For me, botting is not having to do the same boring series of dailies over and over again. Or not having to go through the same mind numbing quests to level yet another character.

Gearing up, dungeons and raids are my biggest fun. No need for a bot with that.

Heyyyyyl no. This is not a game for me. It is simply a place in which my legion of hunter-gatherers can amass enough cash to easily acquire every shiny bauble I can pile on my internet man-dolls.

I started with a simple fishbot called Nemo. From that moment --which was nerve wracking, running a 'bot' for the first time... "omg Blizz's Warden's gonna insta ban me!!" --I was both (a) hooked and (b) never going back to spending hours doing mundane things in wow ever again. After finding that HonourBuddy had an active community and player submitted profiles I was convinced that not only would I never play WoW without botting but that botting in itself was a new form of entertainment, an avenue that reinvigorated my passion for WoW.

Without botting I am sure my subscription would have ended.

In fact, the curious notion of a fishbot had lured (geddit!?) me back; botting got me back into WoW and now I'm quite happily subscribed, botting.

Yes. HB only helps accomplish tasks much faster that I would normally do on my own.. Except the profile I used for the grey riding camel/ title I would never have done that on my own.. and after watching it take my bot over 2 days to complete I defiantly know I wouldn't have done it. ty HB .. I am a Camel-Hoarder. :]

Oh and to everyone that said "NO!!!!!" you should get more into pvp at least.. that's the only real reason i play anymore. NOT BGBUDDY!! go out and do some rbg/arena tons of fun, but use HB to get some started gear so you don't get squashed.

Depends if they improved it now i would quit but once i got full honor gear gemmed enchanted etc id live fine without bots untill the next season however then id probquit ifthere still was no bots avilable

I would, I am an old dood (I tick the 45 to 55 bracket on forms) and I dont drink or smoke I have health issues which stop me doing anything physical for a hobby and I am shit at FPS games now. So to while away my time I would still play. Obviously I would only have one acc and be piss poor but Yea I would still be online.

Oh and the botting thing, So far its bought me 3D tv 3D blu ray player and a whoe heap of other stuff I also totted up all the micro transactions in my acc history and the bot has repaid all that money too. So all is good.
