I been botting for like 7 days now non-stop BG to get my monk 90, so far so good. If you get banned, just blame it on keylogger

At this moment, it's definitely the Archaeology-bot that's extremely dangerous to play.

Let me describe what I noticed.

Last night, I decided to give this bot a try and in no-time I could identify the bots from the "real" players.

The bot lands on an Archaeology patch, does the first dig and depending on red, yellow or green, it will walk 20 yards, 10 yards and just a few feet respectively.

At the next green signal, the bot will take three tree steps and performs another dig etc. Three silly looking steps at a time, until it finds the artefact.

For one, those distances should be doubled, plus the distance should be randomised with a minimum of a few feet. No normal player counts three steps and then starts digging again.

Then, after being done with this particular patch, the bot very often just stands there, doing nothing at all.

One time I saw a warrior digging for "nothing", because he was just standing there, digging but not moving.

I attacked him and there was no response at all. Just waiting to be killed. He came back and the same thing repeated.

Just go to the dig sites, and you will easily identify each and every bot.

So do not bot with Archaeology-bot.
You WILL be reported because it's simply too obvious.

IMO bg buddy looks quite risky since 99 percent of us are running the same directions and only one legit guy carrying the flag, even the horde side appears to be 100 percent botters lol, having said that his probably happy we are all running around like retards while his able to keep capping what a quick win, I have to say this is a fairly silly post its all risky as long as you do play on a live server use the bot at your own risk we are all aware yet we do it and we are only to blame if we do loose our accounts!

thats weird i botted alot of charachters with archeology for easy exp i never got reported banned for it even when i got stuck on threes many times

I just wanted to comment about bg botting, like everyone else has noticed the bg bot is to obvious but it makes you stop and think from a money hungry corporation side like blizzards end. Right now they are seeing the epidemic that is botting and what does a company do when they are being exploited on a mass scale? because thats now what its is. WoW is now being exploited on a much larger scale then what everyone originally thought. Which gives blizzard only 3 choices; 1. join them(which they will never do) 2. Destroy them 3. do a minor ban wave to keep the average player reasonablly satisfied! OMG what do u know blizzard already does one of these options no 3. is the winner. People really stressing about botting shouldnt bot, it really is that simple. If my main account is banned i'll be devastated but like the past 5 times i'll get it back or just bot up a new one.
Anyways just throwing in my 2 cents worth.

BG is getting really risky now to the point I won't use bg bot reports are flying around left right and center, if people can write up some decent bg profiles with randomized paths, so we are not all running the same way would be good, we all pretty much was reported then as a few players got up set as all our bots were just running up and down stairs like co-ordinated retards, I believe this will really hurt honor buddy big time if things are not implemented soon to fix this issue. Blizzard can not really let this slide its only a matter of time for them to cra~ck down big time, it is impacting on the game in a really negative manor to the point accounts will be hit hard. Hate me for saying this but its true.

Most of the time a non botter or two will just say "hey bots.. Lol" whether that goes reported or not I don't know. But I've been botting for 6 years now on my main account and 3 others and have never been banned.. Ever. Luck? Maybe. But I could care less If I did get banned. I'm kind of addicted to botting for some reason- I don't even play for the most part as I work 21 days on 2 off 14 hours a day..

Yeah I am just gonna keep botting until perma ban I have no respect for blizzard! will quit once I loose my account this BG has had a few bots reported just now. BG has not been so populated at this time but pretty flooded with bots in the past week, was kinda having a laugh how retarded they all looked running up and down stairs with a shit hunter singular cc especially just leaving growl on etc, kept taunting boss pissing people off haha. I think blizzard need to make next expansion aimed for botters, I honestly don't like playing the game just botting it mostly for shits and giggles now.

Stuff knows how many reports I have had in this week now, had a lot of threats especially selling/buying lvl 25 guilds even though that was legit paying noobs 30k then re-selling them on my server for 120k. Also level some up in between sell all the matts people deposit and collect the gold they make then sell it.

If Blizzard were really that anxious to stop people botting, they would have a dedicated team to trawl through the forums of available bots, try them out and find a way to monitor / counter them.

Given that there are a specific profile of things that nearly all functional bots use, it wouldn't be hard to profile for botting without looking at them individually.

This is part of why I regularly change up my WoW usage. Not just my bot usage type (arch then gather then a little grind then some partybot) but also why I don't use the same options on my WoW client when playing vs. botting.

Bot wise and don?t get banned, or bot hard if you don?t give a s*** . I bot 7-8 hours a day with questing and keeps it running night over with mixed mode grinding and BG ( only for leveling with costume made profiles )

I'd say, grinding, pvp botting, and manipulating the AH. and uncercutting like crazy. posting 100+ auctions at one time per character etc.
i've seen people with 1000 at my realm.
kinda makes the light go red imo.

I have been banned for a three times.

The reasons were that the bot used on BG, and someone send a lot of reports.
And other, when I suddenly became more profit from the AH, something like 50k-100k per month, and they found that I use a bot or buy gold from goldsellers.

Activity: PVP botting / Actifity: Selling gold / Blizzard e-mail: Abuse of the economy / Blizzard e-mail: 3rd party automation software

I have been banned for three times too.
First it was the archaeology bot and the 2nd and 3rd time both a question profile/bot from kicks.
Weird because i did run nearly 20/7 the pvp bot and had no trouble with it and was never banned
but leveling new chars was always tricky and sometimes i think that blizzard does not care about battlegrounds.
All of my friends farm honor like nothing else and never ever had any trouble with it.
Check out the battlegrounds in the night and you will laugh about 6-8 chars running exactly like the others and
sometimes from the same guild (like mine). No bans yet.

I think the PvP-Bot is the most secure bot because blizzard simply doesn't care about it.
In my opinion grinding or even worse gathering is another thing and risky.
