To be honest, a permanent ban is better than 6 months. But since Blizzard are like whores, everything for the money and not for their community's well being they ban people for 6 months so they can "secure" them as players after those 6 months. I'm done with WoW, I needed a reason to quit and Blizzard just gave me one. There's no way I'm gonna step into wow after losing so much content of whole 6 months. And I'm pretty sure WoD is the last expension aswell so there's no reason for me to even look at the game anymore. My sympathies for everyone who lost their valuable account or can't play for 6 months, I feel you. I hope you spend your valuable time from now on, on something else than this crappy company who's only concern is money.

Honorbuddy will not be forgotten, I appriciate all the support you have given me throughout my playtime and made several tasks alot easier, I hope you guys win against Blizzard in court and put them right where they belong. *MONEY WAS WELL SPENT!

played for 10 years, never got banned before, i got six months out of the blue..thought if i got caught with my fishingbot i would get like..72 hours.
6 months will prob make me leave
all i wanted was to raid Mythic, which i did with passion
 
Only 1 of my 10 accounts got hit with the 6 month suspension. I still have 9 others to goof around with. I quit botting about 3 or 4 months ago with all accounts and just using Enyo / Tuanha Holy Paladin (basic healing with me doing the major stuff) only 3 nights a week at 4 hours a night. So... Still figuring out if I want to goof around with one of the other accounts or just go do something else until HB figures out what they want to do.

Wrong some people get a perma ban for first offence. As we can see from results now they seem to be issuing 6 month bans however.
 
and they say they can still charge you if you have a subsctiption on your account ... and they cant remove it till the 6 months are up .... now what does that sound like they just want your money no matter what ....
 
I wonder why they think people bot.

Could it be that the content is extremely dull? Neither blizzard or the people cheering the decrease in players will get what they really need. A better quality product that entices people to play.
 
I really don't care that I was banded from WoW I was so over it the day WOD hit but I want to know how they found out that I was botting when using enyos CC only since the start of WOD. they ether can detect the bot or they scanned my PC illegally....

Boss Operator made a very good point on his post, one hand blizzard wants to kill all bots on the other hand they know people are botting and only suspend them for 6 months... this doesn't give blizzard a very good reputation for people who don't bot lol blizzard has retaliated hard at Bossland for losing a court case they are now taking it out on many of blizzards customer in the process, no way to do buisness, sure they will generate sales for the end of finial year, get people back in time for next expansion, but Blizzard are only treading on their own foot here, how many subs will they lose in the long run for their antics...

US 6 month the ban email said however I jumped on Bnet and was managing my account and it said perma on both accounts. And also said the same on my warcaft app on the Ipad.

Permaban

I for myself am banned for 6 motnhs and since hb was the last fun thing in wow i am done with it... dont think i will be back after the suspension.
