[PLUGIN] Pokebuddy - Gotto kill em all!

Btw I have a question, perhaps the answer is in this topic but I apologize, I'm not english and I don't want to read 89 page on the subject :p

How did the bot capture pets? If I'm fighting againts 3 pets, and that the second pet is rare, does it capture the firts pet in the fight, or wait for the rare one?

What does this profile compared to your plugin combined with a blank profile?

Hi Kalicia!

I've used this plugin a bunch and it works as described. Let me see if I can help.

Specifically, to answer your questions:

1) it will capture the rare pet, not the first one which wouldn't do you any good. It knows that rare is there, it sees it, and just after 1/2 way through it's HP, it will start trying to capture that rare pet automatically and then finish the battle until - hopefully - victory and a clean capture.

2) The profiles let you better use the skills available to your pet. The blank cookie sheet (empty profile) pretty much just face smashes button 1, ie uses the first skill. The profiles make use of *all* the skills and introduces basic logic so that the skills are used intelligently, not randomly. It's basic logic for the pet instead of blind button smashing.

Concerning the first part (capture rare pets), I had a doubt 'cause the first battle I engaged, HB captured the first pet, a common pet.

I don't have it up and running right now, as the WoW servers are down for maintenance, but I believe there's a box to be checked in the plugin settings which says "Catch only rares". I **THINK** it's there but don't hold me to it, ok?

If that box IS there, make sure you have it checked (selected) so that it doesn't catch non-rares (ie non-blues).

Kalicia, chances are that the first pet in the group you fought was one that you did not have and you have the option to "capture better quality than you currently have", you can change it to capture only rares, but it will still capture the first pet matching those criteria.
 
plugin loaded , setting on , start bot and toon just sits there and does nothing

i have a question:
if posible do this algoritm:
1) if i dont have pet - catch pet
2) if i have this pet in lower quality - catch pet and release previosly (f.e. i have grey, new pet is green - catch it, and release old (gray), if i have blue and new pet is blue - do nothing)

i dont need 3 similar blue pets, i dont need gray+white+green pet (i cant catch blue..)

1: Already built in. "Catch when rarer than what i have" or something like that.
2: I will NEVER EVER have the plugin release pets, because i know for 100% that eventually, pets you wanted to keep will be released.

yeah.. but.... i first will be gray, second will be white and 3rd green - i cant catch blue, because already have 3 of this type...

and i think that bot must release grey, when catch green or blue

It doesnt catch the greys, it takes white as a minimum ;) So unless you caught a grey manually it will catch white, green & blue quality :)
 
I might be missing something in the hundreds of threads and replies but how I can I keep my 3 pets cycling so they will level together? As of now, only one pet is starting fights AND winning so the other two have no change to level.

Settings, Advanced, Select "default leveling" in the combobox & press load

Should do the trick
 
Okkes, have Pokebuddy loaded. PetAreas Loaded. Gatherbuddy2 Loaded, select 1-3 for Durotar...loads up, says loading Durator 1-4 - Crowley, mounts up, then just sits there, with plenty of battle targets in range, saying "Moving to next hotspot" No log to post. I actually find I have to manually move around until it targets something, then it battles. I thought this, along with the other addons, made this afk'able.

Try the ones in thebrodiemans svn, which contains the mop dailies profiles.

A few have been updated to lvl 20+ mop pets, with the new loadouts.

Petarea works moderately well, but it may be that PB was not configured.

Set range to 300
Capture to higher than what I have
Change lowest-highest level to 15 (just below range slider ) if you use battle pet swapper or lv25 pets.

could also be petarea, its been a while since it was used
 
Thanks guys, will try these idea out.

EDIT: Ok, I tried the settings you suggested and it still loads up, mounts up, then says "Moving to hotspot". It will not do anything unless I manually move my toon to where an enemy shows up. I have Pokebuddy, Petarea and Pet Swapper loaded for leveling. I am on a ground mount. Does the fact that I am level 46 with no flight causing the problem? I am really ignorant when it comes to this. Could someone please IM me with a simple config/setup so I can have this level my pets automatically?

Apologies if this has been asked already.

When all 3 pets are low on health the bot cycles through them swapping them out until each one dies. Is there any way to change this so that if all 3 pets are low on health they will attack until death?

I ask this because many times my pets have been on low health when all it would take is one more attack and I would win the battle.
