Hi. As you might have guessed from the lack of updates i dont play wow anymore. I still have friends who sometimes convinces me to return but its really not a game i enjoy much anymore. Ill see about starting a trial account so i can look into this bug. Il try to release a fix for it but in the end its difficult to maintain a plugin for a game im no longer playing.

as for the whitelist bug.. well it doesnt surprise me if its not working correctly. i only have one account so its not a feature is personally use (therefor it hasnt had as much testing). How did you add the character name? the best way is to target the character in game and click on the button to retrieve it (forgot what i called it). If you typed it in manually the name needs to be exactly right. I dont have the code in front of me but i think its case sensitive.

I just started running tests and noticed a setting i had completely forgotten about..

This plugin does not work with the new Framelock option in honorbuddy. Its enabled by default and could very well explain every problem which have been reported since the last release.

Go to Settings & tools in honorbuddy and untick the "use Framelock" option.

best plugin since f'ing world of warcraft , i dont get why u dont get help/more support, this is a really important addon as it helps not getting banned, because ur like a shadow.
 
Ive uploaded a new version of the plugin. In order to not lose your custom safe zones, do not overwrite the "default.sz" file when updating the plugin.

Hi all,

Im sorry to say that I cant support this plugin anymore and will be taking it down. I have two reasons for this:

1. I havent played wow for about 1½ - 2years now so supporting my old honorbuddy plugins have been difficult. This one especially since it uses things like flying mounts which require a high level character to test (cant be done on trial).

2. This is my oldest honor buddy plugin and Ive invested a huge amount of hours on it. Unfortunately time invested doesn't equal quality and although I dont consider all of it terrible, the core code is. Ive touched upon it before since it has always bothered me but the way im stopping honorbuddy isnt good. At best it could be called a hack but also an abuse of the api.

To stop honorbuddy im sleeping the thread, you might consider it a controlled hang/freeze/lockup. This is the reason it interferes with every single plugin or botbase. Now this has actually worked pretty well anyway but the last time it broke the only fix I could come up with was so ugly that it felt like putting it on emergency life support.

As a programmer this bugs me a lot and had I written this today i would never have released it. I do however truly believe in the usefulness in what it accomplishes which is why ive let it be up to this point.

If i ever return to wow and figure out how to do this properly i would love to release a new version. I dont see it happening but who knows.

Anyway, I would like to thank everyone who have supported me over the years. Knowing i made something which was useful to others is a huge kick to me and is what has kept me motivated to support and extend it. I truly hope that my work was able to save some accounts.
