[Plugin] Mr.GearBuyer

Yeah, I'm kinda having a similar problem, the thread attachment says version 2.2, it's still moving after Battlegrounds :S

By the way, does this include a fix for the moving the bot sometimes does when it leaves a bg, running into walls and such?

Reported immediately, why would you upload this?

Presumably a keylogger - look at the file size. Also includes an exe and dll, definitely do NOT use this.

i removed it till i can verify that it works and that its safe. once it is, then ill post it as a release.
 
Sorry for causing such a commotion. The reason it contains an exe and dll is that I accidentally released the entire Microsoft VS solution. You only need a couple of the .cs files.

Yes it does fix the moving when getting out of a BG. Yes it does work for MOP 5.1.

I'll wait for CNG before doing any more links.
 
I don't know what's going on with it but it still just farms to 4k and keeps going even with a full vendor list added. :|
 
I just tested this out, It bought my first honor piece at 2250 correctly, and I believe my gloves at 1750 but after that it just capped 4k and kept going :/

I had like 8 more things on the list to go.
 
Version 2.6 - Added AutoStop if it detects your character is moving after the first pulse of it getting out of a battleground.

So where do we get 2.6?
 
Set it before going to bed, woke up at 2100 honor, disconnected from the server. I log back on and my armor is completely broken with my corpse in the middle of the ocean. I made sure that the honor/justice vendor exchange was off, which it was (it would make sense if she was trying to fly somewhere from the Pandara honor vendor).

Tried it again the following night on a different character:

-Populated the list with the new class gear, making sure there was nothing checked off or selected that would cause my character to do anything other than farm honor and buy gear.

-Watched her do BGs and buy the first piece of gear to make sure everything was working.

-Parked her in Pandaria *in front of* the vendor, the only thing needed to complete the tasks.

-Woke up disconnected, honor capped in the middle of Valley of the Four Winds.

Aside from it not working properly, which I can deal with, I would love to know where the hell they are going. I can manually buy the gear once BGbuddy has done it work, but obviously they are being told to run somewhere other than the vendor they should be interacting with.
 
I still haven't heard anything from CNG. I *would* release my updated version, but I don't want it seem like I'm trying to circumvent him. I'll keep an eye on this thread and if I don't see something in a couple days, I do a release.
 
This plugin works fine for me so far.

I removed the option to do automatic conversion and it works fine ;D
 
In the meanwhile you can try to do following:
- Create grind profile with single hotspot - near your PVP vendor
- Set bot to "mixed mode" with main mode being grinding with your profile and second mode being BGBuddy

In most of the cases it will work and even if for some reason HB will make you run away after BG grinding bot will make you come back to vendor

Any chance you could upload that grinding profile? ;)

EDIT: tried to make a profile myself, but I was not very sucsessful

Hello all,

I've really enjoyed using Mr.GearBuyer, and was sad when it started being finicky and crashing. Being a programmer myself, I decided to look at the code and refactor and fix it myself. Big props to CNG for the original code/idea.

Usage

  1. Download the files
  2. Unzip the contents and place them into your Honorbuddy/Plugins folder. It should be something to the effect of: Honorbuddy\Plugins\MrGearBuyer\MrGearBuyer.cs and Honorbuddy\Plugins\MrGearBuyer\GUI - http://i.imgur.com/O5Rt0.png
  3. Open WoW. Run HonorBuddy
  4. Click the Plugins button - http://i.imgur.com/YC6f6.png
  5. Select MrGearBuyer and make sure it's checked
  6. Click the "MrGearBuyer" button - http://i.imgur.com/lAgKd.png
  7. In WoW, open up a vendor window
  8. Click the "Fetch Vendor Items" button
  9. Select which items you want to have MrGearBuyer buy for you and click the "Add Selected Items to Buy List"
  10. You can also double click items to add/remove
  11. Start Honorbuddy with your favorite Instance/Mixed/BGBuddy profile


Important!!!!

  • You have to place your character relatively near to the vendor that it will be buying from. While I have seen it successfully fly to the pvp vendor from across a city, I've also seen it get stuck against the Great Wall of China in MoP
  • If you have used an older version of Mr.GearBuyer, you will need to delete your old settings files. They are located at HonorBuddy/Settings/MrGearBuyerSettings_XXXX.xml.


Please let me know if you guys get any errors or need help installing
