[Plugin - Monitoring] SugarMonitor

yeah follow these steps:
How to install?

1 download the SugarMonitor_COLOR.zip (color is orange or black)
2 extract it to your [HBFOLDER]/Plugins that it looks like [HBFOLDER]/Plugins/SugarMonitor/SugarMonitor.cs
3 copy the folder [HBFOLDER]/Plugins/SugarMonitor/SugarWebsite to ur ftp
4 run hb and go to the plugins tab
5 click in the list at sugarmonitor and check the enabled box
6 click at settings
7 type in your ftp-serveradress like: www.ftpaccess.com
8 type in your username of your ftp account
9 type in your password of your ftp account
10 click save
11 now u can run HB
 
I followed those, I can't seem to find anything when I search sugarmonitor.cs for a line that says root. Do you mean the setting in HB?

yeah you most set the ftp-serveradress right
if you do not have the SugarWebsite exctracted at the root folder you have to set the ftp-serveradress to the right folder
 
I'm almost positive that I've extracted my files in the right place and I've set my settings in HB to go there. I'm confident of this because I can get to the screen with the choice between ff and ie, and to make it even more convincing when I choose ie or ff I can see the sugar theme and a screenshot of what HB is doing. The only problem is there is no info displaying, just errors. I've given everything read write and execute permissions for everyone. do you have anymore ideas?

You can remove the picture, so not one else can see where you host or anything
This error indicates that your host has enabled the PHP open_base_dir setting on your server. Your host needs to add your Movable Type installation folder to the allowed paths for this setting (i.e., add the file path referenced in the error as "not within the allowed path").
The open_base_dir setting is primarily used to prevent php scripts for a particular user from accessing files in another user's account. So usually, any files in your own account should be readable by your own scripts.

Do u have configurated the plugin? u MUST set the refreshtime in the settings form
 
My char contains an ?, is there any way to prevent the error code displayed in the name? filesize gets really big, displays Name: MÃ�? ’Ã� � wich goes on and on

What's the official fix for when it's not uploading the screenshot? It updates stats correctly, I just can't manage to get it to upload the latest screenshot. I currently have SugarWebsite in the root directory of my webhost.

please answer all these questions

is in your sugarmonitor folder an image named "screen.jpg"
have u changed the code?
have u renamed your wow.exe?
is in your task manager in the process list the wow exe named Wow.exe? not any other name ;)
does your ftp support the filesize?

Thanks for the quick reply.

It does generate the screen.jpg file every time it updates, it just doesn't upload it and it stays in the plugin folder.
No source edits
Still using Wow.exe
Process is listed as Wow.exe
My ftp does support filesize.
 
I did manage to solve my issue with a more direct IP address and some source editing.

For hosting on a shared webhosting server, be sure to specify in your HB plugin settings that the address needs to include public_html. (www.sugarglider.com/public_html).
I also had to edit sugarIE/SugarFF index files. I had to change every occurance of "../../sugar.html" to just "../sugar.html". This worked great for me. Hope it helps someone else

Thats becaus you just uploade the SugarFF and SugarIE file to your root folder and not uploaded SugarWebsite folder too your root folder
 
Hi plugin is awesome, but i have problem with stats. Upload is good because sreenshot is working but i have blank all stats. Do you have some idea why ?

Edit: I look into the sugar.html on ftp server and stats are there but i cant see them on internet page
