[Plugin] Giles Combat Replacer

Does not re-cast Serenity if the battle goes on long enough and Serenity comes back up from cooldown.

This sucks for me because usually the elites are so close to being dead but because he won't cast Serenity he dies.
 
omfg i just tried this with my ww/tornado bar and it is amazing, it decimates everything. You are a god!
 
Could you make a priority for fallen prophets over the fallen in act 3 skycrown/stonefort? similar to what you did to the summoners in act 1. This would greatly increase a3 farm speed if you did. THANKS.
 
sir please help, my demonbuddy hangs after pressing start whenever I add this plugin...pre 1.04 I had no problem...but after the patch I can't seem to use this :(
 
Thank you for this AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME plugin.

I have one question though: How do I change the settings so that my WW Barb does not use Bash if it has more than 20 rage?

I noticed that my barb stands to bash even when he has more than enough rage for 2x Sprints. This is a big problem during large encounters :(
 
for people want to use rend more often
open gilescombatreplacer.cs with notepad and search 4700
that's the 4.7 sec duration for rend, change it to something like 2000 for 2 sec spam

your doing something wrong, read the first post do a clean install of DB to a new directory, never over an old one, it works fine for hundreds of people. You should be able to get it going.

i did a fresh install of db but it does not show up in the combat selection list? Anyone knows what is wrong? thanks

I helped Giles with the Wiz settings for CM before he left, but I've done some more tweaking and I believe this works a lot better.

Tweaks:
Swapped Teleport for Mirror Image w/Mimic rune for use on Emergency (Must use this skill+rune instead of teleport)
Casts everything more often,faster and closer
Added and tweaked all avoidance settings to help stay alive

This is working perfect for me in Act 1 and 2, and with a gear upgrade can work perfect for Act 3

Last night was running Act 3 and on Azmo, instead of attacking him as he should throughout the act, he constantly runs around him in circles. Once inawhile would use Rend or Revenge but he would hardly use his primary attacks. Almost as if he was playing as a WW barb, circling around allowing the tornados to proc.

All other areas besides Azmo, he uses all his skills as best as possible, including normal attacks.

Currently i have to skip Azmo in my profile which is a shame because by that time ill have 5 stacks NV easily.

Just to help out some people here trying to farm Act 3, I've quickly added a couple more things to avoid in this attachment, namely the Heralds of Pestilences' Arm Pools and the Demon Mines.

I've also changed the default avoidance percentages and tweaked some of the avoidance ranges: basically everything is at 100% except for the molten trail and plague. I tried to emulate Giles's commenting system, so that anyone who wants to make further tweaks can have an easier time. Also, note that in my version I have set Rend to cast every 2 seconds instead of every 4.7 - you may want to change that back.

I'm a 90k dps rend barb (40k life, 8.2% ll (9% is max), 1k all res, etc.), and it farms most of act 3 just fine. I'm running skycrown + stonefort + siegebreaker with 0 deaths (so less than 1 per hour), but it's a little slower because rend isn't used quite enough. I can't say I could fix it myself (or i would), but it would be nice to spam more frequently for more difficult areas of act3.

Note: I just watched my barb kill a rare pack with WotB and it only casted rend once, and it hit 2 of them, then bashed the rest.

How the F do you make a 90k dps barb w/ 40k life and 1k all resists? /baffled
 
So I tried the ww/tornado build and for some reason my toon would run up to the first patch of mobs in Leorics and just swing endlessly....except he wasn't hitting anything. No damage or fury generated. I could click one of the mobs and it would actually start to hit him and once I got enough fury, the script would kick in and ww all over the place. Once fury was gone, back to the same old swinging in the mobs face but not actually hitting.

Pretty weird. Ended up going back to my frenzy build. Regardless, this is so much faster than Belph or the default combat routine.

Hello captain king emperor Giles! I know you are on a magnificent and wonderful vacation, but I was hoping you could take a look at this when you have returned. On a Wiz using the latest version of this plugin the wiz will lose target of Siegebreaker after his charge move sometimes, then just stand there and die. It doesn't happen for me on belphegor, but belph isn't as good for a CM wiz.

LOL very nice work thank you for this. I had a fallen conjurer running away from me I managed to rend him was so funny as I was chasing him he just died LOL thanks again
 
Really good plugin for a first release but I do have a few issues with it.

It seems to try and attack allies spawned through the new legendaries as well as skills like Hydra.

Also I'm using a high cost/dps main skill and electrocute with surge of power to recharge my Arcane Power but for some reason using this plugin my bot just seems to spam my main skill until all AP is gone but will only ever use electrocute when enemies are literally in my face and sometimes not even then.

I really like the avoid on this though it's working so much better than Belphegor. Looking forward to an update, gj. :)

EDIT: It also seems to spam Diamond Skin when ever the cool down is finished even without the check box selected. :(
