[Plugin] Giles Combat Replacer

Atm it only uses sprint if being chased/close to >3 normal "white trash" monsters, as a quick getaway to save time, rather than "always on" - I'm debating with myself (and cdmichaelb) whether to change it to ALWAYS sprint or keep those drops of fury until there's a need to sprint to evade trash :P

Do a checkbox for spam sprint ;) Let the user decide
 
Does this plugin work with WOTB and Earthquake ? and only use them on Elite ?

Sure does! As the 1st post explains, supports all barb and monk skills... admittedly what it doesn't explain - is I've tried to program intelligent use into all skills! :D Give it a whirl, see how you find it!

I use to use leap for EVERY elite/champion combo and constantly used it to keep my armor up higher for survivability since my dps was/is a bit low

may have to try this whirlwind build

It's more sensible only leaping when fighting elites *AND* health is below 80%, as it is with the plugin - as that allows leap to be off-cooldown if you are coping fine without the armor boost, for a quick-avoidance from an ice-ball dropping or if the mob teleports or dies and the next elite is far away etc. - you still get the survivability when needed, but with a little more utility!
 
Avoidance seems a bit goofy when you spec tempest rush for it. I get the feeling that he's either not avoiding things in the right direction or he's just not avoiding them at all, or not far enough. Got 0.2.

Sometimes he just doesn't use Serenity as well even though it's off cooldown.

Edit: fiddling with the avoidance radiuses for the first issue, bit clueless about the second. It says use below 0.55 but it seems that if I'm incapacitated when the Hp ticks below 0.55, it wont activate ever.

I am glad my math was put to use that you never used lol. Great plugin, been using it for a while now *coughs* and its been doing extreamly well. Trying the v0.2 now.

PS. Pirates ftw. aaaaarrghh.
 
I just notice this plugin only use either WOTB or Earthquake on certain elite/champion. I never see it use both skills at the same time which I really hope you fix this next version. The next feature I hope you can add this is an option not to use Wotb and EQ on low hp champion/elite ( 5- 15 % ) to save CD for next group of elite/champion.

Really cool. Looks like you put a ton of hard work into this, and it's appreciated. I have a couple questions, if I may:

1) Have you tested your tornado/whirlwind spec on difficult content? (i.e. Act 3, where we all hope to eventually be) If so, how did it do?

2) While using tornado/whirlwind on Act I, did you notice a significant increase in clearing speed over the traditional sword & board spec? If so, approximately how many minutes would you say it shaved off?​

awesome plugin, i miss two thing from belphagor, the ability to spam sprint and the ability to spam war cry (to generate fury for sprint)
i think u choose that way to maximize fury during tornados, but it would be nice to implement that as an optional feature
 
Suggested monk build anyone ?

Currently running it, but now it ignore your stash rules, because the worldbjecthandler loot stuff isn't obeyed because it is switched off, have to load up _GilesStashReplacerRules.xml in the main menu, no biggie I guess.

Yep avoidance is definitely goofed up in some way, it's more or less ignoring arcane beams resulting in instadeaths in A2 =/ A lot of promising things in this one, and overall extremely well thought out. But for now I'll stick with Belphegor.

Treasure goblins are no longer chased, as soon as it encounters another mob it stops chasing the goblin, I have monster prioritychanger set to prioritize goblins.

I know you said this didn't work with Randged(IE WD) but I run my WD as a tank so I figured I would try it. Of course it didn't work =D . Can you make a combat system for yours for WD tanks? This is the skill setup I use Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III , and Belphegor is fine for the most part. The thing is with this build 1-4 have to be on cd at all times to keep vision quest mana regen up to perma spam rain of toads non stop, and belpegor does not use spirit walk on CD, only for movement increase. SO *sometimes* I will run out of mana to spam rain of toads. Any way you could implement this to keep everything on cooldown at all times? Love your plugins, use them all, and would love to replace the belphegor system due to this issue.
 
This plugin does seem to attack a whole lot faster than Belph, which is nice for my Monk. But tried 2 runs, both crashed inside Watch Tower (Act1). Will try another few runs but if they also crash then this isn't really usable...

once the patch hits next week or in two weeks, we ll be able to bot act 3 no problems even with current belphegore routine.
