I have no clue why.... But my bot is completely unable to invite my other characters... It just keeps on spamming "[AutoFollow.Behaviors][<OnInviteRequest>d__10] My minion is requesting a party invite!" upon which it scans my friends list and says "[AutoFollow.Coroutines][<InviteFollower>d__20] Unable to find inviter requester on friends list!" When they are most definitely all added and online at the same time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is your follower added via realid(email). i believe this is the problem i had earlier, removing the follower and readding via btag worked for me

if your followers happens to have the same name as your leader bot, it won't invite them also.
Mine are all with same names :) so this plugin isn't working for me atm.

it seems the followers like to stand behind the leader and doing nothing, only a few times i saw the followers attack. Any ideas?
I found out my followers having problem catching up the leader, it feels like it has 3-5sec delay.
Any idea on how UpdateSpeed and FollowDistance works? I set my followerA UpdateSpeed highest of 2000 while followerB a lowest of 100, but i dont see any differences.

Still making progress, just need to test a bit more and fix a few things, I don't want to waste your time installing bad versions :D

Figured out why it wasn't working with YAR, and I think i've nailed the not staying close together issues this time. :D

where is profil for this plugin ! ?

The follower has to load CombatFollower profile inside the AutoFollow plugin folder.

I have been running it with a friend of mine over the internet, works kind of but often my buddy got lost. Hoping to see an improvement in the near future.

thx maybe i finde :)

It will be awesome if you add the option for the followers to adjust the distance between the leader. Or just simply add one profile that support leader(zdps).

there is an option for follow distance already, The thing is bots are having an issue with staying grouped right now thou zzjv has been working on it.

Also you will find it better to have a dps as your leader and the zdps followers with illiusinary boots so you can walk by mobs, this make them have 0 chance to get traped by mobs and than you can have your dps correctly moving to and targeting groups of mobs. Obv till the bot is staying grouped correctly zdps wont be to viable as they spread out. Thou if you use a toon that can solo the rift your grouping in as your leader if when they mess up it still works and fixes itself next rift as a temp fix till the issues are solved.

I set the distance 5 between leader and followers. Followers trying to kill mobs. I have no idea how to make the followers to ignore monsters.
It seems like the latest Trinity has ignore options, but it does not work.

hi xjzv, pls make the AutoFollow plugin to work with UberBot 0.5.1 profile. the invite process seems not to work properly. after babysitting the invite process AutoFollow is handling the UberBot profile quite good. i will donate again for sure.
thx looser7k
(pls excuse my bad english)

You need to set ignore trash further away that 0, ignore rares, champs, elites, minions, goblins, there a few diff settings on the same page dealing with those in trinity. As for them not working they do work as I just tryed them on my end. I assume by not working your meaning the for mentioned prob of them not following witch is a known issue. And as xjvz said he thinks he has it fixed for next version when it comes out. And you will need to use illiuisnary boots so that the bots have no chance to get traped by mobs its what we did last season with simple follow.

But as I said so long as the plugin is not properly keeping the bots together its best to not use zdps toons at all so when they get spilt they can still kill mobs as with this version there is still a high chance of that.

The leader creates a server where the other bots go to ask for a invite. They need to be running on the same network (or virtual network) in order to access the server and request a invite from the leader. Doing this the leader doesn't need to know the names of the follower bots. Doesn't hurt to start the game with them all in the same game leader already as party leader but its not necessary.

The bots also know who the leader is from that server so they will look for the leaders quick join if its on and join that way (leader is set by the bot not running "followercombat" profile. Or they can request to join useing the leaders name also.

Comes down to you dont need to set the followers or the leaders name only the profiles there running.

The "followercombat" profile on followers and w.e profile your running on leader.

I love this. Someone makes a plugin and then doesn't give any instructions in the first post how to configure this properly. White knights save your breath, I don't care how much you want to you kiss up to developers.

Hey Razzy, thanks for the details but i'm still having issue getting this working with my friends.

So just to clarify, What address do i put in on the blind address box? i assume followers should put in the public static IP of the leader, but what does the leader put in? his own static IP? and i assume he doesn't use his local IP(I.E. 192.168.1.x)

I also made an VPN via PPTP, but looks like our bots still isn't talking to each other.

As the leader, it shows the following:
IsConnected: True
Connection Mode: Server
Connected bots: 0
Behavior Type: Lead

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have the Same issues. Oce when I did get them connected manually in the same game they kinda played together but then went in different directions. I would really enjoy using this plugin. Is there someone available to look at my logs to see what the problem is.

First to clarify you and your friends are trying to run this from different comps on a different local area network correct?

If that is the case its a bit different that what I do as I run 3 bots all 3 on the same comp on the same network. So it makes the plugin quite simple to use. As such this advice is just from my general knowledge about what you kinda need to do someone might be able to give you better guide after the fact. Note if you are running on different comps but on the same local area network its a bit different than what i'm going to write.

First in order for the bots to communicate they need to be on the same local area network and running on the same port (by default port number:10920). The leaders blind address should be localhost. In the case of them being on the same comp you would have the followers also using localhost as there bind address.

Next for bots running on different comps it gets a bit different. If there not on the same local area network you need to make a VPN witch i've never done so I cant give you much advice on that (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2030763/how-and-why-to-set-up-a-vpn-today.html is a guide on it but dunno how good it is as never done myself). After getting the VPN set up it assuming all comps are running on that VPN correctly it should now be the same as if there on the same local area network.

Next once there on the same network it should just be a matter of:
1) making use you port forward port number 10920 so that there is no firewall issues (do this on your router and on your winders firewall/ 3rd party firewall) you can change this port to w.e its just 10920 by default.
2) Once that is forwarded im not 100% sure on this part XZJV would have to correct me if i'm wrong but I believe for the followers bind address you would use the local ip of the leader within the VPN not within your normal local area network. The leaders bind address would still be localhost.

Again i've never used this plugin over a VPN so I cant be 100% sure on this but that is what I would try to start.

As a last thing i'm assuming this works like like simple follow did when assuming how to get it working across comps in that it needs a VPN. There used to be a guide showing how to get simple follower working over diff networks ill see if I can find it and edit it in if I can. Might help. Thou to be sure I assume you tried just using a IP of the leader without VPN to make sure it din't work. (thou I assume it dint as i'm rather sure you need to be on the same network).

To add to the above Dantron I went back and looked for the guide I seen before cant find it but it seams when people used simple follow over a VPN they had both the leaders and followers bind address set to the local ip of the leader. So try the following after portforwarding and making sure there is no firewall in the way:

1) both leader and followers bind address as the local ip (within the VPN) of the leader.
2) both the leader and followers bind address as localhost.
3) the leaders bind address as localhost and the followers as the local ip (within the VPN) of the leader.

see if one of those 3 works best help I can give at this point if one works tell me so I know for the future.
