  • Bots now disengage combat periodically in order to follow much more closely.
  • Improved movement to properly get updated position of the leader.
  • Added some checking movement so it will stop trying to move when blocked.
  • Fixed settings input boxes not working and changed them to sliders.
  • Fixed bug where updating port/address wouldn't take effect until restart.
  • Fixed problem that was preventing followers from communicating with Leader
  • Fixed name scanning regex so that players with a clan can now be invited properly.
  • Followers will now start a town run if they notice the leader is doign one.
  • Bots will no longer leave the game to avoid unknown players when the setting is off.
  • Bots should now teleport instead of using portal markers in normal rifts

"[AutoFollow.Coroutines][<RequestPartyInvite>d__2a] Party invite is from '<CLAN> CHARACTERNAME' who is not our leader, ignoring".

This players with clan tags should be able to accept invites now in 1.0.8, thanks.

its impossible to do grifts with this
I tick adventurer and the followers end up doing grifts themselves without the main account
i untick adventurer and they dont upgrade gems through urshi

It currently requires Adventurer for Gem Upgrades; I thought it would be nice since everyone uses adventurer anyway for it to use the gem settings you already have. Depending on feedback it could possibly be integrated.

Do anyone find that AutoFollow works well with the latest version of R-YAR or just run autofollow alone? If they are not compatible yet I'll try to use autofollow only.

I haven't heard any reports of it working with any YAR yet. I do intend to get it running on YAR at some point soon. I have been running it manually, opening D3 windows with the "-launch" shortcut.

Doesn't seem to work properly when the leader's status is set to busy. I see him attempt to invite followers but they don't accept. .

This is just the way Diablo3 works, if you try and manually invite someone in game without the bot the option is greyed out/disabled and you cant do it.

Hey xzjv, well done plugin! its running very smooth. there's just one point thats bad in my opinion. in my party the bots are randomly opening the rift, sometimes bot b sometimes bot c etc. AND they are opening a greater rift one while iam on my leader with an empty profile. they should stop doing there own stuff there. keep up your good work!

I hadn't realized having the bots follow a person playing manually was a thing but you're the second person i've heard of doing this. I haven't tested this use case. Its now on my list of things to support.

Any suggestions for group composition with this? Preferably a full group of 4 would be lovely. <3

I am currently running 2x DH, Invoker Crusader and a WD Pet/Firebats.

1. The leader bot isn't inviting my follower bots which has same name. It seems to get confused when all bots has the same name.

This is something I hadn't anticipated, ill have a think on it and see what I can come up with.

2. Can I suggest you to implement to allow leader bot to drop legendary to follow bot (already achievable by Trinity) but after follower bots ID the legendary, drop it back to leaderbot to pick up so we don't need to manually move them around every 2 hours.

Yes, I want this too, they need a way to share around the items to get them to the bot that needs them most.

3. atm the party seems to be quite spread and so it won't be good in greater rift. Anyway to make them stick to leaderbot as close as possible, or disable combat when they are certain yards away from leaderbot?

This is pretty much what I've implemented, in 1.0.8 if they're further away than 40yds they go into a mode that pulses combat on and off every second. It probably needs some tweaking as ive seen my DH hanging back a bit and not using his abilities to the maximum potential because of the pulsing. Maybe a setting or something relative to the follow distance slider. From what From watching it for a few hours now it seems to be keeping them nice and close together.

ive noticed that if i change min trash pack size to anything above 1 when the follower encounters and is "blocked" even in the slightest by a quantity of mobs less than the minimum it wont do anything, it'll just stand there getting attacked. so if follower runs into a group of 3 mobs with min trash pack size set to 4 it will just stand there, wont go around to continue following leader won't attack etc.

This should be a bit better now, the way the movement is currently working is that it has priority control over the bot, ahead of trinity and other plugins. So I need to build in some checks to stop trying to get to the destination if its blocked or needs to fight etc. Will see how this version goes.

Is this in the form of "If leader.distance > X then combat = off"? Is the X a setting? Thanks for the update :cool:

Found a problem, not sure if it's related to this plugin. The follower found the stone at the end of a rift, and kept clicking it while eventually trying to tp to the leader - but he kept interrupting the tp to click the stone.

thanks for the update :)
regarding autofollow with grifts
You can't tick adventurer with the autofollow plugin, because this causes the followers to end up doing grifts themselves without the leader

Only ever seen this happen if your running the Grift profile on followers (works well for normal rifts as they kinda spilt farm than) If your running the autofollow profile on the followers haven't had one open a grift since start of season.

1.0.8 seams to be working alot better than 1.0.6 in the few rifts ive done so far. I found updating the followers position every 50ms worked in 1.0.6 to fix the issue of them randomly stoping (lessened it as would stop for less time) will see how it is with 100 ms in 1.0.8 as lowest I can set it now.

what classes you running? and mind posting a ss of your combat settings in trinity? also are you running db beta or stable? and what trinity version?
b/c sadly its the opposite for me, i had to revert back to 1.0.6

follower still lags behind only now it doesnt even kill the mobs its stuck on, rather it just stands there. i think due to the pulsing of combat now, as wiz it occasionally does something then stands there then casts something and so on. doesn't accomplish much as a result =/
still can't set min trash pack size to anything higher than 1 on the follower either, still seems to get confused
the first couple rifts i did after updating to 1.08 ended up being the leader soloing it and follower doing nothing the whole time, added a couple minutes to my clear time
there anything i can log to help? or do to help?

Im running FC 4R/6IK barb and a LoN firebats garg WD.

As for my settings there all baseline save the Barb I set trash combat range to 70 (or else he charges away ahead if lower) and trash pack size to 1 for both toons.

Dont FC ooc or gain he charges way ahead.

Set autofollow to resend position every 100ms.

The WD is the lead as hes slower this will make the barb still dash ahead (up to one and a bit screens at times) but he will return after killing a few odd mobs norm 15-20 secs later.

Currently been able to do grift 65 in ~9 min haven't tryed higher (in season btw) (this is with noly half half ancient gear on barb full ancient on WD but using only 3 of the "optimal" legendary and no arguments for both.)

Dont think I changed anything else really cant check as at work still.

Oh and useing DB stable trinity X,X.14 w.e the first numbers are.

Could you post what classes/builds you are using for your bots. I am running 1x Thorns crusader as leader, 2x DH and a WD. Its best to use something tanky for your leader.

I am running with trash pack size 1 on all bots. If you set the leader to 1 and the followers to 2 they will tend to ignore more mobs than the leader and so keep up with him better.

Also take into account the relative speeds of the bots, if the leader is a dashing strike monk or steed crusader and it honing off really fast, its possible that the followers just can't physically keep up, I had to tweak my group composition and skills for this.

thanks for the update :)

I agree with razzysnazzy, sounds like you are selecting grift profiles on the followers. Followers need to load the auto-follow combat profile which is located in the db\plugins\Autofollow\ directory.

Yeah, I had to wire it to pulse because the in game tasks are not running as often/reliably enough. Its how Adventurer does zerg mode except TB has it checking if x monsters are within y range and then turns it back on when fighting is nessesary.

Code:
            if (player.Distance > Math.Max(AutoFollowSettings.Instance.FollowDistance, 40f) && !Player.Instance.IsInTown)
            {
                Combat.State = CombatState.Pulsing;
            }
            else
            {
                Combat.State = CombatState.Enabled;
            }

glad to hear it, I was pleasantly surprised this morning when all four of my bots were still going from overnight. The last few versions have had something bad happen over that long time frame. Progress!

I actually came here to ask for this feature. However I'm not sure if it's working that good, my follower seems to stand by the leader just looking stupid very often. I'll look into it some more!

So currently the "Meta" comp is the following:
http://www.diablofans.com/builds/69882-2-4-gr100-zdps-globe-barb-group
http://www.diablofans.com/builds/69867-2-4-gr100-delsere-energy-twister

http://www.diablofans.com/builds/67710-2-4-gr-90-globe-support-monk-hexers

I'm trying to run this setup myself, any suggestions on who should be the leader? If you want to help optimize this i will gladly give you access to my accounts (still collecting gear)

im currently using monk wz and barb based on those builds. Wiz is the leader , still need a better autofollow or simplefollower so they dont get lost behind.

is this possible to like say...

my friend and myself use it in 2 player GRIFTS and they communicate well?

i was running 2 dmo wizards just for gear sharing, with 1.0.6 they were able to clear 65 in time however i had trash pack size set to 4 on the leader and 1 on the follower due to how setting to higher on follower made it stop attacking often and get stuck. i'll try setting them to 1, im messing around in non season now that ive finished my journey stuff so ill be setting up other classes anyway. only have access to 2 d3 accts atm, have 2 friends that also bot in my games with me previously using simplefollow and now autofollow. im open to suggestions for a good 2 classes to run if anyone has had any good success with a 2 bot setup

thanks for all the work on this, could be a lot of my issues came from the separation caused by 1 mob skipping stuff and the other not.

Hey, so im using only 2 bots with this however saying im using is a little inappropriate as im not using anything as i cant get it to work.

Machine is running both instances of D3, firewall is off, im assuming there shouldnt be any port issues due to it being on one machine.
I have what i consider the "Leader" using Adventurer nephrifts, i have what i consider the "Follower" using FollowerCombat - Nothing however works for the follower.

Anyone able to shed some light on settings if i need specifics that arent apparent?

Also, it might be nice if there was some kind of instructions regarding how to set this up on the OP as anyone doing botting off the same network will have to search through the thread for the information.

Am i missing something, as DemonBuddy Latest BETA is not generating a config xaml when the plugin gets loaded and when i select it in the plugins menu it pukes up a bunch of red errors complaining about missing config file

EDIT: works now, but they arent following eachother too well, itll tele to leader and then do its own thing. using PLVL and Combat Scripts. Also disconnects from host alot.
EDIT2:Seems to be working a bit better after recuding the update speed to 100, but still gets incorrect instructions occasionally, and will run in another direction for a bit, then decides it wants to go towards the leader, and runs into walls lol

if its any help the 2 bots are run on diff pc's on the same LAN

my follower spends a lot of time standing around spamming it and not killing stuff, both bots are together and theres mobs all around, the leader is behaving like it should (globe barb, so just wwing within the mobs keeping them together). the follower (et dmo wiz) sits in the middle of the group of mobs and doesnt do anything spamming that message, then after a bit it will attack some, then pause again spamming that message more.

not always like this, sometimes it seems to work perfectly, then others it'll do the above for a whole rift =/
i think what is happening is it is "trapped" by all the mobs the barb gathered and wants to get out but cant, wont teleport for some reason if this is the case though
