[Plugin] A ChuckyEgg Attempt! - Party Dude Pro, breaker breaker roger smack 'em!

I tried using v2.0.4 and it made the followers lag (the leader didnt lag).
using v1.0.10 now and its working fine.
any idea what cud cause the lag while using v2.0.4?

That lagging is an odd one. Not sure why the 2.x.x version caused such a lag, but the 1.0.10.x ones don't.

Are you using the 1.0.10.1 or higher ? 1.0.10 won't actualy restart new runs properly.

I'm rebuilding the plugin and will test and keep an eye out for lagging of the followers.

PartyDude - version 1.0.10.3 - Test.zip =====> no crash!

Thanks for figuring that out to be the problem. Shame it's not the reason why the original crashes occurred. Although I am thinking it is along the same lines.

Anyway, I'll add the portal usage tomorrow, in stages, and run extensive test runs before I release it.

ya seems a bit odd, but oh well im using 1.0.10.3 and it seems to be working fine.

Nope, this is not compatible with Trinity yet. I need to resolve this crashing problem before getting back to the Trinity fix.

ah understood. Any chance you have a timeframe as to when you will support trinity. I've been running trinity on my monk/wiz for a few days now works lovely. I would love this plugin to make them run together but obviously cannot yet :D

I have added the Trinity setting to the Dude's config window, but at present it does nothing.

I need to get the dude/follower portal usage back into the plugin before I go back to the Trinity fix. We'll see what tomorrow brings re that, as I have a free day.

You can now set the distance the dude will follow the leader from (if that makes sense? I'm tired... sleep needed!). Range is 0 to 100.

amazing release although it still crashes on leader every few hours or so, but i have combined it with a relogger and have been leveling 17 characters to 60 with this plugins help over the last 16 hours :D

Excellent update and feature. Thanks so much for this. As I play the leader manually and also use ISBOXER to control my group, the most important feature I'm looking for now is the Trinity support.

Just love this plugin.,...

Did not tried the new release, but all releases before does not disband party, and then the leader trying to start the game, and get errors because party is not disbanded. :(

Or are you using the original PartyDude, re the email ? That won't disband the party, well it did not. I have just uploaded a new version which does disband the party, version 1.2.1

yeah all the versions crash, ill post a log next time it crashes and i know which log it is but from what i can see its always in high-traffic situations (using a leader and leecher to level accounts up) ex: dying at wps repeatedly due to low levels/bad gear, and also rarely during game creation when the follower is looking for the leader, the leader will crash and not the follower. Let me generate some logs tonight and ill post them in the morning

Okay, cool, or not, lol :( I've cleared out all the logs file, and will run the party for the day, and see what happens. Hopefully it will be obvious what is causing the crashes.

Oh well, we'll see what pops up. :)

Meanwhile I still start re-implementing the portal usage.

I thought this plugin could not work with reloggers!

I should list all the useful plugins this can work with.

Excellent news, thanks for the report :)

Yeah, I was surprised at how well that distance thing worked. It works well for people who want to keep weak chars back and out of harms way for as long as possible (a request made a while back by someone here), also to ensure casters stay behind melee classes during the actual run, so that the melee classes are engaged in combat by the mobs first.

I'll start the portal re-implementation and testing now.

just upgraded to db .285 last night and i have no crash logs to give you, sorry, but good news, that was 9 hours of botting w/o any crashes on 8 accounts

Thanks for the report, and YEY, that's what I like to hear :)

So we have what appears to be a nice and stable version in 1.0.10.5 :)

Now we just need one with portal usage included! (yes, and Trinity fix ;) )

I put the portal usage code into 1.0.10.5, and it crashed, and crashed, and crashed some more. So, I may have to rewrite it, but before I give up on it, I'm going to see if I can track down the cause... mainly just to be sure I don't repeat the mistake.

One thing is for sure, the original crashing and lag is due to the portal usage code, and specifically the new algorithm, or at least the code that makes up the algorithm.

Also, I am certain the algorithm itself is sound, it's an error I must have made in the code somewhere.

Next thing is about leaving game and disbanding the party by leader.
He really doing this, but after inctivity trigger forces the leader to leave the game ( in my case, it is happens after 2 minutes once the profile comes to his end).
Don't know if this is supposed to happen in that way.

Also what loot rules they seem to be using because i loved giles able to pick up only 61+ rares etc not even bothering with blues and such.

I use Belphegor for the combat routine.

You'll need to define your own loot rules, at least until I can apply the Trinity fix.

What do you want your bots to pickup, keep, and salvage ?

Not sure if it's me, but has anyone noticed that the followers/dudes aren't fighting nearly as much as they should?
