Still doing great with this plugin guys, by far the most well looked after! I love your response to the community. I'd just like to ask a question;
When we go /sgi options --> Customize Whisper, it has #6 whispers... what's this for? Furthermore, when you save one whisper it just disappears in the pane, i can't see it anymore and it sets the status to GOOD.

As you can get a temp ban for spamming, and if you whisper 1000 different ppl the same whisper, even if you're not whispering the same person, in a way you're spamming the "whisper channel" with the same thing.
It's very unlikely but yes, it could get you a temp ban for a day or so. But if you use 6 different whispers, even if they are just slightly different, you're not spamming the same thing and it's even a less chance that you get temp banned. But to even get a temp ban you will have to be reported by alot of ppl and then you should be unlucky that a pissed off GM is looking at it.

And now about your question, I haven't coded the whisper code, it's done by the SGI author and I haven't touched that code.
Once you set a whisper it says *GOOD* because it's set, but if you click that one, doesn't it load up the whisper you've set there ?
I know that if you hover the mouse over the *GOOD* mark it will show your whisper there..
If it's not working like you want, let me know how you would like it to be and I try to fix it :)
 
You are truly amazing AknA! Thanks for the responses! Donation coming your way pretty soon (If you accept them). The way i thought it might work best is if the whisper you were sending shows up in the box (in which you type the message) when you select the whisper from the drop down. But that change is sort of un-neccesary now i know that! Thanks anyway AknA!
 
i cant get this to work he wont show this addon in my WoW\addons when i start the game the addon is nowhere to find in the game and i made a new map in wow\interface\addons any help? in HB i can see it

Make sure you install the modified SGI directly into the addons folder so you should see:

- World of Warcraft
-- Interface
--- Addons
---- SuperGuildInvite

Make sure "Enable out of date addons" is ticked when on the character select screen in-game.
If you saw the addon in the past but not now, type "/sgi options" in case you disabled the minimap button.

Ok, like Sidalol wrote, first of all check that you installed it correctly.
Go to your World of Warcraft folder.
Go into interface folder
Go into Addons folder
Go into SuperGuildInvite folder
Now you should see the files, for example SuperGuildInvite.lua
Make sure there isn't 2x SuperGuildInvite folders (ie wow\interface\addons\superguildinvite\superguildinvite) if there is, you need to delete and reinstall.

Now that you know the files is in the correct place, start up wow, at char select screen, click on addons in the bottom left corner, scroll to the bottom and make sure that <SGI> SuperGuildInvite is activated for your character.
Now log in, if it still doesn't show then type '/sgi options' and the config window will show.

And I joined this project because Sidalol was kind enough to let me work along side him on it, and I do it because I love to code and this was a new challenge :)
And as far as donations, this is a joined project between Sidalol and me, so I shouldn't accept donations for it.

But.... :P well.... the thing is.... I actually don't own a license of honorbuddy, I've just bought 1 day licenses all the time when I've needed to check that the code actually works.
Yes, I'm poor and can't really afford to buy a lifetime license :( so if you really would want to donate to me personally I would accept a license to honorbuddy to make it easier for me to update my projects :)

Why didn't you say so? I have 6 lifetime sessions on my account and right now I'm using like one of them every few days. We can sort something out.

Sidalol and AknA this plugin is AMAZING! I just bought a level 25 guild on Tuesday and have recruited 250 members since then. Just unbelievable. Thanks again!
 
I don't get it, i did exactly as you explained ... when i ticked the plugin nothing happens, i even started the bot in questing mode... nothing appear no "superscan" button appears.

EDIT: Solution, restart pc after SVN is installed.

Does anyone have some general tips on how to get people to join? What should I include in the whisper etc? Guild is lvl 10.
 
atm the window of SGI is only Blinking and nothing doing.
Has worked the whole day and after restart only blink blink

It's a bit tricky at level 10. You should at least add repairs, and look into the guild lottery/raffle addons. With honorbuddy you should easily be able to fund weekly prizes and they work quite well.

What do you mean blinking? And which part is blinking...the options window or the superscan? Try doing an SVN update on both parts or re-installing.
 
can you write a guide on how to use the plugin? i have it in my plugin folder.. i have it enabled as well.. however.. i go in game and do /sgi options set the addon up as i want it.. and still i get the /who list constantly on my screen.. and its not inviting people.. am i doing something wrong? thought this makes it all silent in the background and auto invites..
