For them to have anything to compare with, they would have to log all actions?
Check your client while playing, you have a combat log there, they keep logs of your actions for a long time. Don't assume that Blizzard Servers are running in a simple logistic scheme, they have or might have one of the best storage and real-time server in the game industry, keeping logs to further analysis shouldn't be a problem if the need of this was planned 10 years ago and they pay for it. If you read some of their replies e-mails when a user request a better analysis of the ban (being generic here, I know) you will see that they reinforce that logs were analysed and some even says that could detected robotic behaviors months or years old.
For them to get a pattern to use for comparison they would need to analyze and compile that data?
We don't know what they are comparing, I won't speculate in the mist, but I don't follow your denying position of that logging actions or filtering them is nearly impossible. They are to big to assume risks of sues with no argument or proves to fight back, that could lead to bankruptcy over the number of banned users that could sue them all around the world.
Thanks for the reply, I knew that stating what I do would lead to some aggressiveness from your side or any other, that's the standard behavior all over the internet, but I am just a regular john, with my certs and a good job, working for a living and having my family well provided. Don't have an e-penis to grow or stuff, no braindead here also, I know exactly what you're talking about and work with some of that kind here, hehe.
The hard part about coming with good arguments is to speculate over the unknown, which is the main reason that HB team keeps in silence, they simply don't know what is going on. I am speaking freely here, no flame or conspiracy theory intended, and whiling to hear your ideas too, don't take me bad.
