Perm banned on LazyRaider account

so we need to add more random functions to the custom classes? But with the ingame latency we already have some randomness
and with a healing rading account i can't belief it is so simple. I guess there is something more.

Sounds simple, right?! But since they are banning over reports and suspects, it might take fair amount of time to a GM compare the logs and the patterns, which means that it's hard to banwave once they have to analyse each account. Still, it's possible to see that you're repeating and repeating, which leads to a ban. If there was something more the banwave would have tsunamed us long time ago, that's my theory.

Randomness would be great, but I don't know if it will be enough, since the core would still the same. Repetition is our doom, robots are robots, and for HB improve it's IA it would cost more than they can handle in a short-term development process.

WoW is boring, it was being used mainly to earn me some money, and if it doesn't I won't be playing WoW again, like a lot of people.
Blizzard hit this shit really hard, and if botters and the chinese stop playing WoW, then Blizzard will be hit in the subscriptions from probably the 10 million or 11 million to probably 5 million or 6 million.

Well just finished my 72H , mostly used TuanH Pally with Lazy Raider.
The question is how safe is to play now with HB?
The have the Account flagged or something and if the are for how long?

People forget that Blizzard can simply do the reverse engineering to map out bots in the game. They can buy the bot, download the routines, log their patterns and compare, easy like that.

This. And it's not difficult to do, actually. You could be hitting a few legit players, but it's just a matter of flagging an account for being "close" to the most popular CCs and there you go. A GM just needs to take a look at the accounts flagged, achievements, hours online, etc... A botter account is easily spotted if pointed at properly. A guy with 10 lvl.90 in more than one server? He deserves a close look...

Can you copy and paste the mail you got from Blizzard the time of the ban? And did you dispute it/Answer and told them you were innocent? Banning people using Lazyraider, a rotation-helper that doesnt do any harm to anybody except NPC's is just silly.

They can't say anything since takes time to figure out the exact approach that Blizzard is using to detect the bot mechanics, I don't know if they are currently digging in possible detection methods going on to improve the bot or just denying that Blizzard has a new way to detect bots. Maybe in the future if they can find the way or solid defensive measure taken by Blizzard and counter it, they should announce it, without details to avoid another measure, but until there, denying that the bot can be detected and all that is happening is only user's fault implies that people would keep buying keys.

Don't misunderstand me, I love HB and truly wish they found a solution for the issue, but it seems not possible since if Blizzard wants to keep pushing on the bans for users using third-party programas even if it takes a lot of human resources to achieve it, they will do it, period. For the most efficient way to detect and ban a bot is analyzing it manually.

The question is how safe is to use th HB now since its a main account and the only reason i am still playing this game is opportunity the HB gives me to have a life and not to spend hours for daylis reputation farm and gold for Raid needs.
The will track my account now? or just the banned character (suspended on Ally server and main char on diff server Horde side).
I have never sell or buy gold (playing since BC on same account), the gold i farmed is only for myself mounts mats etc...
And 1 more thing i have noticed - i got the 72 H exactly when subscription payment ended.

You are under watch, don't have a doubt about it, once caught you will be followed more often than other users, and if you bot again any time soon, your account will be permanently banned. It's hard to precise when is safe for you to bot again, since if you're caught again there's noway to avoid the perma. Sincerely?! I would not bot on that account again if I was not ready to lose it.

I have this theory that they track some IDs to get you, as MAC, Game ID and IP. It's hard to precise what they do, we need some inside info that will never come out to assure what's safe and what's not.

Very sad situation
I dont want to open bot account because as i said i dont need gold for sale or something i play for fun so used for daylis and some mats farming.
Maybe it was just ban wave ? When i start to think about it most of the people i known used HB to lvl up when panda start on grind profiles 24/7 not even single ban, so something maybe happened on their detect methods?
Any way thanks for the information.

I also wish they would find a solution, I was just trying to get more accounts and expand to atleast 10 to atleast make good money out of botting, but this ruins everything, we'll have to wait until tomorrow, or until the next week to see if any more bans happen like these, and what happens to the chinese, because without the chinese buying our gold, there's no point in botting.

I will copy the email from blizzard tomrrow, too tired to do that now. It's just a standard third party program mail, but I am going to appeal. Remeber most of the heroics and what I did at the exact timestamp etc. that got to count for something when I try to convince them. I don't understand it, since Tuanha holy pala is randomly generated to every situation. I have never "botted" on the account, and by that I mean grinding/questing/fishing/proffesions etc.

I am going to go trough all my logs to see if I can find something.

The thought that I got some reports running heroics have struck me. I won't say I was socializing very much (but that isn't normal in Wow theese days).

I don't think that it would be a legit reason, to ban someone because they don't talk in-game.
My girlfriend play legit, and she basically never ever talks in-game.

Agreed, I often only thanks when the dungeon/LFR is done, I am not that social...

Another thing I want to add is the fact that LazyRaider users looks idle in the middle of the Raid even thought they are attacking or healing. It looks like your char idles since you're not activating the spells directly from the buttons, the bot activates them from the background and leaves the bot to idle, the toon keeps doing those idle stance movements, I often used to press some keys manually to avoid this.

Kinda of thing that could lead to a report.

Just to analyze and process that data would be gigantic.

Imagine a normal player which will usually hunt for bots around the game (we know that this kind of nerd exists, they often post here saying that we are ruining his game) is raiding on LFR and a healer or ranged dps is by his side alternating between idle instance and casting and still making on the recount TOP3?! He will report you for looking strange, a GM can analyze your log and that's where you gonna get banned.

I am not saying that they will scan each logged account individually, I know better than you that is kinda impossible since I work with data and server stress analysis and low-level system analysis also.

For them to have anything to compare with, they would have to log all actions ?
For them to get a pattern to use for comparison they would need to analyze and compile that data ?

Just cause you work with something doesn't automatically make you skilled...
I've meet so many people with fancy certifications who've worked for years in certain IT related fields who literally turned out to be braindead after closer inspection.
Those usually also felt the need to tell everyone how good they are and what they work with instead of actually coming with good arguments...
