[PB] Toney's (very basic) TSM-Based AH Bot Profile

Im looking for a way to make this bot use the guild bank to restock itself, has this already been created?

Not with this profile, and it's not something I'll be implementing as it's not something I need.

Exactly! Then you will think that I dont have the items in my Auction Group, but I do. I have all the materials in my bags (when I first made the Group) in the same group. I've even double and tripple checked it. They are all there

Then there's a problem with TSM's configuration SOMEWHERE.
The profile has absolutely nothing to do with what's posted and what isn't. It just hits the "post auction" button as many times as TSM tells it to.

Yeah I get that TSM screws it up. Hehe... somewhere, yeah that's right.

Anyone with a solution? or with an equal problem? Maybe we can solve it together!

Hehe, okey. I give it a try.

I managed to get all materials posted. The ones that it didnt post before, got put on the AH with a bid at 450 and a buyout at 500. So still something wrong there.

I tried to reset TSM and started all over again. Now it posts the regular materials, just as it did before. But still leaves loads of 20x stacks in bag. (Example: Cinderbloom, Mithril Ore)


My guess is that there's something wrong with the prices/threshold or w/e. If there's not to much asking, may you printscreen your setup with your prices? very annoying to have like 80 stacks in bags, not sellable. Been trying this on another character just for the heck of it. Same problem there.

Hmm. I dont really know what more to say/try. That's it.

Questions? please, ask them. I will do my best to answer them, so we can solve this problem. =)

I don't sell stacks of anything, so a SS of my config won't help you at all. If anything, it'll confuse you.

Have you manually checked the prices of what's actually on the AH? Maybe it's not posting them because the price of stuff already posted is lower than your threshold.
Also, with things you post as full stacks, make sure your set the "ignore stacks below" option to 20, because sometimes people just post singles that are too low, and then TSM doesn't post because it's below the threshold.

The only advice I can give you is check your numbers, check the AH's numbers and then set Ignore Stacks Below to 20.

It actually seems to work now. I put "Ignore Stacks Below" to 20. Still post the 20x stacks, all of them, at 90 bid, 100 buyout. I guess that's just a config or as you stated, there're just to much of that item on the AH. So the prices are way to low.

But, it works. That's good enough for me! =)

I have nothing in my bags, it's not spam-scanning AH like before. Nothing wrong with this, right? Soon getting loads of materials mailed to the toon. So should start working again then, when it has all the materials in the bag again...? right? :D

I'm glad you got it working... sorta...
Just find the right spot with thresholds and read the TSM guide that's included with the addon and you'll get it right.

If you have nothing in your bags, it's not gonna try to post. Or rather, it will, but TSM won't have anything to scan for, so it'll hit the post button and do nothing.
I can't say I've ever been in that situation but I imagine that it'll still go to the mailbox on it's own when the timer is up, and once it retrieves more mail it'll go back to posting.
Or so I think lol. Let me know!
 
I'm from Sweden and tbh I dont really understand the meaning of thresholds, and what to set it at. Yes I am that stupid and maybe abit lazy... ;) but I undestand that I have to change the threshold-settings most likely.

Waiting for my farmer to send, should be done in one hour or so. Not going to send it manually, actually going to wait to see if all of this really works as intended. =)


I'll post when it's sent and in the mailbox, so that you know if it works or if it doesn't!


EDIT: Something got sold. I just had a mail! Still waiting those 10-15min for it to cancel/pickup

Lol no worries. The threshold is the minimum amount of gold you're willing to sell something for.
For example, if you set the threshold of Cinderbloom to 4g each, if the lowest one on the AH is below 4g, then TSM won't undercut it.

So, lets say 20x Cinderbloom costs 18g on AH, that's under my threshold (1g). Hmm, if I still want to sell the stuff, maybe way to cheap, but still, I can just change the threshold to say 50 copper instead?

There we go, I have mail. But the bot doesnt move at all.

latest update of HB made it so my auction window does not open when visiting auctioneer.
reverting to previous version of HB solved problem

I guess... Due to the kind of goods I sell, I've never found myself in that situation, so I've never tested what happened if bags emptied out.
I'll take a look when I can, but can't say it'll be any time soon.
Might wanna look into PB's AHbot meanwhile. Dunno if it ever got fixed.

I run this, and nothing else, on my laptop, so even though I've had the test version forever, I've never updated the version on my laptop. You know, if it ain't broke don't fix it...
Again, I'll take a look at that whenever I have time, but I can't promise it'll be any time soon as I'm moving next week and I haven't even had time to start packing.
That sad, if it does not open the auctioneer window, then it's a PB issue, not the profile's (unless HV changed the interact command).

If that's what you mean, scroll back a few pages and you'll find a version I uploaded for someone that wanted it to wait 60s before each posting cycle. Just get that and lower the 600 millisecond timer to whatever you want.



It could be a number of things going wrong, none of which I can check even with a log. Start by re-checking your TSM configuration.
If that fails, re-read the first post. It's possible you might have missed something along the way.



Huh? Sorry, I don't think I know what you're talking about.
If you want it to re-stack items every now and then, you can add a command for it in the loop wherever you want it.
I think the command name was stackitems, but not sure. Should be something like that.

no i mean for example instead of it selling 3 delicate inferno rubys as a stack it will seperate them and sell them one at a time.

That has to do with TSM then. The profile doesn't have anything to do with what or how things are sold.
I suggest you go through your groups and check the settings.

Yeah, no worries. I managed to set it up so there's always something in bag and when having stuffs in bag, it scans. =)

I've tried PB's AH, but really, I dont know how to configure it. I have absolutley no clue what-so-ever...
besides, I love this, I love your work so I will stick to it ;)

Maybe I should get into coding again... might have some things to add. TSM tho... not my thing. :P
 
since update its just sitting at mailbox trying to withdraw even tho my bags are full. (except some spaces in jc bag but the items in my mailbox aren't gems)
