[Party Plugin] SimpleFollow - Multi-Bot Party Plugin

Made it home, deleted simplefollow, extracted new simplefollow into plugins, started d3, started DB. When DB loaded I clicked on plugins and saw the new simplefollow Fork version. When I clicked it and tried to config DB crashed. I installed new 2012 visual C just in case that was an issue, but still crashed.

Edit: If I just checked it to run and do not try to configure it, it seems to work at this point. The follower will leave first and the leader will wait until the follower is out. The leader still seems to do a bit of "dancing, or backtracking through the profile, but it does work. Also, while it was running I clicked on the Simple Follow Arden Fork under the plugins on the follower and tried to configure and it crashed as well. So for now I will stay away from the configure button.

Also, my leader will not invite my follower, but if I invite follower manually he will eventually accept (sometimes) once leader is in combat. Leader will put up friends list but not invite and then close list. He does this normally right at beginning of game and sometimes after going into crypt. I am so far only running the example profile.

Another note, if leader dies max number of times and exits game, the party disconnects and has to be restarted.

If you are referring Arden Fork please post in his section:

My bad Drazz, I though I was :) Had 2 computers open and went to wrong one. I wondered why when I updated the Fork thread my posts weren't in it !

Leader has to be running first, if it is then it sounds like something blocking access to that port on your leader machine maybe? You checkout my simple lan guide?

If you have any firewalls/virus scanners/etc running, disable them on both machines to do some troubleshooting then try to run it, that will tell you if something is blocking the connection to the leader server.

I'm not running any antivirus/firewalls on this PC. It has worked fine when I've hosted servers previously.

Just posted 1.3.1

Changelog:

Default Follower LeaveGame behavior is now stay in party
Added option for staying in party - does NOT effect Leader!
Added option to configure the bind address (e.g. localhost, 192.168.1.1). use at your own risk :)
Converted all DateTime. Now into UtcNow for that much more performance
Cleaned up the Config UI
Added support for DB300+ / RoS
Modified some of the timings to be friendlier to slower machines
Added build script

You're awesome Rrrix!
1.3.1 works perfectly without any Crash. Fantastic~

Now, I can farm together and share gears with other accounts.

Thanks for updating rrrix!
Had to restart DB after updating the Bind Address to get it to update, but after that worked fine.

Still having the issue with the leader running back and forth between 2 points about 10 feet apart 3-4 times before moving on.
The bot does not appear to do this on the profile I'm running without SimpleFollow loaded.

Sounds like an issue with Trinity HotSpots.

Which profile are you running?

Also what do you set your update delay to?

Running good, but I've had a constant problem every few hours where one or two followers will be sitting in town off in a corner with db just spamming [SimpleFollow] Leader is not in town, using banner. Next time it happens I can grab the log but I'm not sure it says anything other than that a few 100 times. If i walk the follower over to the banner and click it they will fall back in line and fight as usual, otherwise they are deadset on staying in that corner of town.

I'll be changing this logic soon - players can now teleport directly to the eachother, just need to code it up. No more banners required.

Bot works terrific since 1.3.2. Works on 2 different PCs with the IP. Used the Settings.cs file, didn't try the binding one in the PLugin. Auto invites go out as well. I am having some minor problems.
The bot sends the invite too late sometimes. I told it to wait 5 seconds before entering portal, but at the same time it waits 5 seconds before it sends the invite.
My other problem is that when I tell it to stay in party = True, both in the plugin and the profile it still doesn't stay in party. Not sure if the follower bot is leaving or the leader bot is leaving the party. I'm pretty sure it's the leader bot leaving.

I uploaded the profile I am using.

That's right they can do that now can't they! Oh man that would be perfect. Sending you a few bucks in a few days.

Hmmmm... Well if you have your followers pointed to the ip/port IP of the leader, nothing blocking the connection, and the leader bot running with simplefollow plugin enabled it should work. To troubleshoot this further you may need to attach logs from both leader and follower machines.

Awesome, thanks rrrix! I'll try it out soon as I get home :)

The stay in party partially works. Partial because the follower is stuck in town when the run is over and leader cant create new game.
