I was using my Gatherers at 70 with a full set of crafted gear. Just over 1000 Gathering and Perception in each. The lower you are the less you are going to get on the Appraisal skills overall so be as high as you can be.

I would recommend not using them for leveling and instead grind it out with SNL's profiles or Leves. From there if you need gil you can farm normally for a bit with the Rare Materials and then purchase the gear you need. Most of the Grey gear at HQ is relatively cheap on most servers.

First off, thank you for taking the time to make this profile. The one issue I found was in Yanixia at 10AM. It teleports to Namai and tries to cross over to the other side by shortest path. There is only one part where it can cross so it gets stuck flying into a wall. It's the same with FATES. Maybe change the teleport to The House of the Fierce would fix this? Or is that a trouble spot to teleport to? I am using the MIN-BOT Red gathering scrips profile.

Your BOT will run into this if you died in the HotF area for whatever reason. This is something I am looking into to circumvent in some way through the profile but has to do with the routine built around getting back to your body after the death and is unfortunately not something I can fix in the profile itself. For the Lotus Root section especially due to the mobs being close and the FATE that comes up there. You can go through and remove the section if you wish to ensure the death doesn't happen but I leave it in since they were not built as AFK profiles. I will update the Known Issue section if I find a way around it.

Hey I'm having problems with the Ephemeral node farm, it only gets one single item from the node and then goes back and does nothing, just waits for next node but doesn't stay in the zone and farm the ephemeral nodes, is there something I need to change before using it? It says the following:

Sorry but confused as to your issue. That profile only farms the Ephemerals for Aethersands, which in hind sight I need to update the name on the profile and will do. However, there is only 1 node per 2 hour window. Since you need 510-525 collect on the item for that 1 node as well you will only get 1 item if there is only 4 attempts, which there normally is. Sometimes you will be graced with 5-6 attempts but that is rare from my experience running the profile. Is there nodes that give the sands that aren't in the profile? Or are you looking for a different type of profile that farms the nodes themselves?

EDIT: Checking through this again, it sounds like you might be using an older profile that I created. If you haven't, update tot he newer ones but the answer here still is correct for the profile I built originally. If there is a node I missed or another profile you would like to see, let me know.

Hey there again,

I was speaking to a friend a few minutes ago and it dawned on me what you were talking about here. No, that profile doesn't stay in the area and farm the node for the whole window of time that the node is active. This is something I will look into and see if it is possible though here soon. That profile was more a quick build to just go there when the time, farm the node once and then go wait for the next to spawn. I foresee the farming of the whole window having some GP issues since the CordialType command is not working in ExBuddy right now but I will look into it either way. =) I will update this thread if I find a way to get that work though and possibly the profile. Apologies for the confusion on this either way. xP

- Revised Profiles to add CordialTime element that was missing (This has fixed the profiles to now use Cordials!)
- Revised Aethersands Farm Profile to farm for the entirety of the 4 hour windows for each item

Curious of the sands farming profile as it will prep the item at 30/30, then use another skill instead of collecting it. It will rinse and repeat but no collection.

You will run into this if you are not reaching the 515 threshold on the collectability. You have to be above ~510 to guarantee 7/8 minimum on the reduction. If this is happening then you need to get your perception up which directly affects your appraisal skills as said earlier in this thread. I will look into making some changes to the profile so you can update the Rotation Usage for a lower threshold more easily but using anything lower will result in a lot less sands in my own personal testing, if any at all.

I just added the information to the front page and about to upload the updated Profile. To be exact I have 1076 Gathering and 1053 Perception and am able to complete the 515 rotation. I recommend over 1000 minimum but the exact threshold is unknown to me at this time.

It should be using Discerning Eye before each of those casts which is the issue. Can you check in the logs for RB for me and see if it is trying a failing or if it just isn't doing it at all. Should look like this:
