[Order Bot] Quests, Quests and Quests! 2025-02-08

The "SendPathRequest while not connected...." is actually caused quite a bit when the ExMatt flying plugin goes crazy; this is actually an issue with the plugin not being able to account for all situations, not the profile.

I wouldn't focus on spending time customizing the profile to work with ExMatt's plugin, since it can actually be fairly easily run while babysitting and taking over whenever the Flight plugin has issues; it would be a huge time sink that isn't worth it unless you have run out of other things to do, especially considering that flight (and that plugin itself) is probably going to be improved over time, negating the need to update the profile. Instead, I'd focus on the things unlikely to change such as the class/job quests. By the time you are comfortable with those being complete, the flight/nav situation will probably be different then it is now.

I was able to finish your entire HeavensWard profile with flight by keeping an eye on it in the backround, and manually moving to the correct spot as needed when the flight plugin has issues. I could tell what caused it every time the issues occurred, and a meshed and/or improved flight routine would have been able to aviod the issue which I think we will eventually see over the next couple months.
Good to know and that's exactly why I was holding off. It would an immense time investment that I was hoping would be resolved by the time I got back around to it. Glad to hear the profile worked well for you with monitoring!

I'm not sure you are understanding what the problem is. The issue with the game freezing and the sendpathrequest are 2 totally different issues.

Either way, he said he needed some testing on the flying profile, I tested it.

Going back to the ground version.

I believe Cloud is saying that sometimes the EnableFlight plugin will sometimes lead to the SendPathRequest error after freezing the game (likely due to an issue with communicating with the nav server). I believe I've encountered the SendPathRequest error after stopping/starting RB dozens of times (or 100+) during profile writing/testing, but I believe Cloud is stating that it may happen much sooner with EnableFlight locking things up.

After rebooting buddy + the game the send path went away but the flying problem, (the first chunk of log I posted) still occurs.

That's what I expect you to find. Without improvements to EnableFlight and/or updates to (likely) every step of every quest in the profile, you will still encounter this issue. Cloud mentioned he was able to figure out why things like this were happening and somehow avoid them being detrimental to leveling with the profile, so maybe he can share a tip (or tips) if you'll be monitoring the profile while it's running. Outside of that, it will take updates on our end to get this issue resolved completely; unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on that.

Well, first I should state that I never run it AFK, so if that is your goal then you should avoid the flying portion for now.

If, however, you are willing to run it supervised like I do, you can tell right away when the Flight is having issues. One of two things will happen: either you will hit a spot, such as under an overhang or against a large wall/rock, where it keeps moving up/down and left/right in the same spot, or the client window will appear to freeze up and the RB log will start to fill with Flight plugin comments about trying to move in various directions. In either case, you need to stop the bot. At this point, it tends to disconnect from the Nav Server (causing the SendPathRequest error) and thus while the flight plugin can still work upon pressing start, the actual ground navigation will not work until you close and relaunch RB completely.

Once the bot is stopped or closed, you can see what direction you were traveling when it hit trouble. Sometimes, like in the case of a cliff or cave, just getting past these obstacles and starting again will allow it to keep going for a while. Other times, either the objective is in something difficult like a cage or the landscape is too awkward and the flight nav just can't get through it in the current state; at that point, I manually move all the way to the objective that it was traveling to when it got stuck and then restart it. The bot and profile still does most of the work, I just have to handle the movement when the flight plugin runs into hiccups.

I generally only need to intervene once every couple of quests, which I think averaged every 15 minutes or so IIRC.

Restarting OrderBot an additional time (so stop start stop start) will allow ground navigation to work again (as it forces you to disconnect and reconnect to the nav server). This doesn't happen during the first stop since RB has to force quit the thread.

You might find a lot of use in making the profile work with flying only sometimes by adding in ExEnablePlugins and ExDisablePlugins. This would likely be the best approach till we get mesh nav flight.

Awesome profiles. Expect a donation soon.
Been running the All Ground Quests for Heavensward and encountered an error.

Other than this it has been afkable thus far. Fantastic Work

You are having Travel.cs issues give it some time. y2 at work.

Curious what level is the class you are using?

^ This. I've been so busy IRL between work and family that I haven't been able to resolve this yet. It will require modifying both the profiles and Travel.cs to get rid of this. Will hopefully be able to address this tonight, but it will be done tomorrow at the latest. My apologies for the over-extended delay in resolving this. In the meantime, you can manually navigate either into or out of Idyllshire (the issue is that the profile wants to take you into or out of Idyllshire, but can't), depending on where you encounter this error. That would help move the profile along until I can get a fix out.

Cool. I am a level 59 archer. I did use Combat Assist for questing the first zone when Heavensward was initially released. I then use Fate Bot as I got bored of questing.
Just recently restarted 'playing' and tired this out. Has worked flawlessly for me.

My pleasure! Glad they've served you well so far!!

No rush man, you got some fantastic work and sadly rely on donations. Donated what I could in hopes you keep making and maintaining your profiles.

Any donations (in any amount) is worth more to me than you know - even if my wife does want a cut of it!

I'm usually really good about finding the time to maintain the profiles, but this week (and last) have left me with little to no time once I get home in the afternoon to sit down and strikethrough things on my To Do list. Soon™! :D

Dunno if this is the right place to post this, but I'm having errors with the GC Hunting Log specifically for Twin Adders: I get this error when trying to boot it up.
