I did...it was the Baron von something or other quest. The profile still goes to that spot and goes into an infinite loop. THe odd thing is that it appears to be searching for memenaru =\. Is there any manual settings I've gotta change in the profile file to get it to work?

ok...even more odd.. when I run the prpofile in Ul'Dah it goes to memenaru in the adventurer's guild and finds that it can't talk to him and just sits there.... and changes the grind area to find toxic toads:

Ok even stranger....I let it go to Memenaru,, change the grind area and THEN teleported to Black Brush and its working fine. I think it was just having a fit because I interrupted it mid-quest.

Ok solution found...seems that when interrupted mid-quest the bot simply attempts to get the quest again from the quest giver rather in these limited cases.....

So basically I've had to let the bot go back to the quest giver in Ul'Dah, freeze and then teleport to the area of the next quest step....so basically y2k you were right...think it's just that I assumed it was doing an MSQ rather than an SQ...

Ok it's a more systemic problem y2k!!

It looks like the bot is also trying to complete a quest called "lend me your ears already" which has been removed since patch 3.05!!

This is why it keeps trying to talk to memenaru in Ul'Dah - to get this quest.

Commented it out - appears to be working swimmingly now.

I'm curious. I've done most everything one can do short of the quests for job/doh/dol stuff I'm still working on, about 60% of post moogle, and the greatest story never told. What would happen if I tried to use this?

You need to teleport to Horizon in Western Thanalan and restart the bot there.

Odd that it didn't teleport itself, but regardless, thanks! Seems to be working fine now :)

Happens to me a lot, but I just manually teleport to the correct zone

You will find that you're going to have to more than you'd like. I have 1-50 questing profiles on my to-do list, so it's just a matter of availability and priorities before I start on them. For now, you'll need to open your quest log in-game, click on the Map button when viewing the quest details of the quest you're on and moving to that zone manually.

Oh okay, it's not a big deal at all, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't because of some plugin I had enabled or something I screwed up :)
 
Hello, I'm having a bit of a problem. I've run into this error several times, where the bot will simply run to a target location and not move. The following seems to be a re-occurring problem when I'm running the profile.

Are you 100% sure you have the right file structure?

I'm not sure what you mean, I didn't alter the profile file after getting it from the SVN. I also updated it, as per instructed. I am not entirely not too sure what I did wrong.
