[OFFICIAL][Patch 5.0.4] Honorbuddy will be offline for a week (or more)

We planned to do the releases in stages (and we will probably do that still). The first "release" will be more or less for developers only, in an effort to let them update their stuff with the new API changes. (We decided this was a good time to give HB some loving, and clean up some internal stuff, upgrade a few libraries, and the like). This will also help us find anything we happened to miss, and any bugs we may have missed.

The bot (as far as I can tell right now) is basically fully updated, however with the upgrading of things, its broken some stuff (nothing too critical, but enough to cause a delay until it works properly). We'll also be putting in the update system from DB/BW into HB, so we can give it even more lovin'.

Our second release will be a generic test (beta) release for the not-so-technically-inclined to run the bot and catch any other lingering bugs. During these builds, we'll try to address the lingering bugs that have been around for a long time. After these builds (maybe 1-3 of them), we'll finally put out the full release with (hopefully) the same things you've come to know in HB.

This expansion is a fairly large change, and HB has been begging for some massive cleanup for quite a long time. You guys will be pleased to notice less CPU usage, faster bot responsiveness, and overall better performance. (Our new memory library going in HB is miles ahead of what it currently uses)

So, that said, have a bit of patience folks. We're working hard to get it out to you guys. (Sunday is our day off!)

Not even that much what you said here.

Just talk to us. Sure there are the close-minded fuckers but there is no community without them.
And the people who appreciate this will let you know.

Let me rephrase part of what apoc said earlier

The bot attaches and spits out a lot of errors, making it unusable at the current state for even Kick to do anything. Now, most of it is easily fixable by Apoc and the rest of the devs - but as far as users are concerned... you'll have to wait

Its almost like waiting for Xmas day....

Can't wait to start writing new Herb & Mining profiles for MoP to cash in =)

I am willing to wait like most people here, but the title is abit misleading as it says "offline for week" and currently it has been 6 days, 7 days is tomorrow and it doesn't sound like it will be ready for testing, me personally don't have an issue, I WILL support Honorbuddy no matter how long, but most people will start qqing and wanting refunds... just a thought.. just sounds to me that on day 6, there's still errors... makes me think 7 days deadline isn't long enough lol, but as I said I don't mind about that.. but the other half of trolls and qqers will care, just letting you know in advance..

but please don't start on me ): was just saying that there is many inpatient people on here );. but as you said many skilled devs like apoc etc can fix these errors with no issue at all so maybe its not as bad as I think goodluck anyway (:

First time checking back and all I can say is keep up the good work! I see the updates planned posted(quoted) above and felt a nice fuzzy feeling inside. Impressive given the amount of changes to the game :P
 
During theese days without HB I realized how bad I am addicted to it :3

I think the longest I have been away from my pc while botting has been like 30 min to an hour. I thought I was the only one that actually stood there and watched one account while I normally play my main lol...

nothing to do anyway then farm gold, and im drowning in it allr. take your time.
 
Hope the dev version is public.

Need to get my AIO Multiprofile finished before the expansion hits me in the face.
