kinda like i started to level a shaman on my alt account with HB to try and have it ready for MOP lol... I want to take advantage of the Honor Points to convert them to JP since its easier to leave a toon BG's lol... I left my main account on BGbuddy and it was maxed out on honor in a couple hours... imagine doing that for a day converting the points? I could be decently geared before MOP! I rather them put out a good product than a half ass one just to shut people up since they will bitch about it anyway.

You are correct in stating that penalties will be had, wrong in the guess that I haven't worked in that field because I do work in this field. I'm an EET in charge of a Test Engineering Department. So nice try. Penalties, yes, but in this instance none can be had, pissing, moaning, whining, bleeding and regurgitation the same shit over and over gets you guys nowhere, just f'n wait...

I think you need to stop trying to be an internet tough guy and realise that most people are waiting patiently and their problem is not with the time it is taking but rather with the lack of communication. While most of us are aware that the devs are working hard to get it ready, if something breaks, let us know. We will be much more sympathetic to receive the information then we will hearing nothing.

Even something as simple as:

1.09am Spent all night coding, stuffed the "insert technical jargon" set myself back 4 hrs... FML

No one expects the devs to know exactly when the bot will be ready but keeping people informed will keep them happier and off the devs backs. I don't think I'm being unrealistic or asking too much..
 
Not to talk shit and I am waiting very patiently, but Shadow Bot did a bad ass job on having their bot up and running in no time. And yes I pay for that bot and have been using like crazy since it came out on the 29 Aug and no bans or nothing. Not talking shit but just to use as a comparison that you do no need a month to update it. If they are in the business on bot you gotta crush the competition :) , in my case I dont care cause I use both and YES they do support questing now. But my heart will always belong to Honorbuddy :D

same as noobbot, and many others. all are working fine. they didn`t make the mistake and waited until the working version went down. they coded before 5.0.4 was released.

next thing. they didnt code a "new" bot. in 4.0 instead of 3.5. they gave out someting that works. and doing the cleanup when customers are satisfied. not as HB.

Once again, these bots might have a few of the features that Honorbuddy has, but they do not have all the features that honorbuddy has, they do 2-3 things while Honorbuddy does 10.

On the Topic of Honorbuddy and not "other bots", I would just like to agree that it would be nice to get more frequent updates, like chameleon said, anything is better than nothing. Im patient, but updates are key. :D thanks for everything you do devs.

Let me ask you this. Do you actually paid for the Shadow bot and uses it? Cause I did and guess what, i quest, gather, fish, pvp, grind bot, auto train etc. Before you assume something please make sure you do have a valid source and not pull stuff of the thin air. But again I really like HB and will use again and my post was not intend to bitch or complain but to point out that its possible to get something to work with a short amount of time as long you have a plan.
 
I just wanted to thank the developers for letting WoW be nearly bot free for 1 week.

Finally got a chance to sell my wares at good profits. It was pretty bad with 7g/stack of Whiptail on a low-pop server.

Even so, Honorbuddy has a 1 time Fee, Shadowbot has a 1 time fee AND monthly sub fee, and I bet has a much larger Dev team then 5 guys.
