Well to be honest i'm happy with this delay cause allow me to explore the RL a little more and meet another people :)

And about an ETA: think about the information already given, what do you think that means. As an IT guy I would assume it might take another some days, maybe one, maybe three...not including the upcoming CC-hassle.

But thats how it is with major releases - you can?t setup a virtual test environment in this case to test things upfront.

So its natural to wait until its done. End of story.

They told us, HB offline for a week. Its been a week now. Im not asking for an ETA as an impatient guy. Im just veryfying if
we should prepare for another week of wait, or if it should be release before friday, thats all. You dont have to explain how these things works, I think evry1 knows.
 
limited dev/ccbuilder edition will com in 1-2days, maybe earlyer. i guess another week without hb. but thats just my thinkng. i am pessimist. or maybe realist

oc i dont want 99 coders on HB. 1999 i coded in mumps. most of you dont know a language like this exist i guess. 1999 was critical. 2000 was near, and most mainboar bios calculated year numbers only in 2 digits.
we had to code 99 updates, cos nobody knew what would happen. and we did the work. 98 updates were for the trashcan, 1 was used.

and that the same here. 5.0.4 came, und there was enough time to be prepared. same as 2000 came and everybody was prepared.

now, nobody can do anything. the train passed. so at least give the users the illusion to spend all your resources in the main product. manage the crisis. not by making people angrier as they are already. sure, there are fanboys like you, who dont care, when hb goes online again. but there are also users who want to have the bot again.

You said you wanted resources moved to work on HB cuz it was the product that "brought in the money" which I very much doubt is that case. Aslo, hate to break it to you buddy, but it is not "Your" bot, none of us own the bot, we just paid a one time fee to use it. Honorbuddy could shut down and just stop making the bot, would you cry more then saying you want your money back because you didn't get your 3600 days worth?

I really wish they were A**holes and just removed everyone's keys for whoever talked crap about the employees who are working on HB.

Also I was not posting Apocs update to "look smart" I was posting it just to show people that he was in fact giving updates, but as I have stated before, I would much rather never see an update and know he is hard at work coding, which I know he is regardless, for 18+ hours a day, instead of having to post crap on here to please all the cry babies like yourself who feel they are entitled.

It goes live, when it goes live... and if making money on this is your full time job... FFS man, go get a real job. my 2c
 
I get that there was a LOT of work to do for HB to be ready for the patch, but I'm sorry, I feel like no one was even ready for this, It's been a lot of days and hours to work with, and a lot of work could have been done before the patch went live, I'm cool with the waiting stuff, but I don't buy that you did everything you could to get it ready asap.

First of All.. HB has required close to a full Re-Write of all it's code.. this takes a very long time. Second of all.. You paid for this bot once off.. It's not like you have to pay a sub.. Making this one of the most in expensive yet amazing bots there is out there. They amount of time all the dev's put in is huge for very little pay.. Have some respect for them and support them till its out. It will be done when it's done because honestly.. they would they release a non working unsafe untested bot like a lot of other company's would.

Really I'm sick & tired of waiting.

I know they are only 5, it's a small dev team, blah-blah but it's not a good excuses to me.
When you are the #1 World of warcraft bot, you don't tell your clients to wait "approximately" 1 week. You tell them that the bot will be updated in 6 hours because you saw it coming and that you were already prepared for this.

Really, new features sounds cool & neat, reworking the whole API and shiet is a tought task but you should have anticipated long time ago !
 
Nothing good ever comes out of releasing too early.
Not too long ago, Diablo 3 came out. Blizzard should've used more time on it, but people wanted it so badly - so they released earlier. The game has been bashed time after time for not being "complete".
Well still, people wanted a bot for it. So the buddy team was making a bot, but people wanted it so badly - so they released earlier. Does anyone still remember all the hate-threads for DemonBuddy not being "complete"? I sure do.

Don't be a fanboy, I love honorbuddy and as I said I'm cool with the waiting stuff I just said that I "feel" that they didn't do everything they could, I might be wrong or not, It's just a feeling, not an absolute sentence :S

Hey all I have took the time to read all the complaints and requests to have HB released for use and just a little fed up with all the cry ass people. I hope the Dev take a extra week off just to ensure we have a safer bot because mistakes could mean the loss of accounts from bans of a shitty bot with lazy rushed code. I hope the Dev working on HB take as much time as they feel is needed and forget the ass holes trying to get rush jobs.

Thanks again to all the programmers doing more then bitching and moaning :D

you are talking such an bs. serious. ignore my post now. after i worte this i will ignore yours too. i never said let app coders play in the HB source. what do you think resources are? ist the cleaning staff part of all avialable resources? yes. maybe let her do some alpha tests.

you doubt hb is the product that brings money to bossland? ae you serious? what do you think brings money? tankleader bot?

where did i ever say it is my bot? either you cant read or you just try to defend yourself. i never said that. and... i am not sure, but i dont think i even mentioned the 13 euro joker here.

honorbuddy could shut down... yes they could. in this case i would know whats going on, and switch to anothr bot.
maybe now you will answer: than go to another bot... i did already. but for now it is not the final choice. i know the qualities of HB. thats why i am here. even i have to admit that the other bots gathering module looks better than hb's. anyway, after the update comes, in 2-3 days, maybe earlyer, i will use hb again. so long i will use the other one.

go away, sit down and build a HB fanclub. you will have many followers, and can feel happy. and dont bother me with your brainless, missqouting answers. you wont get an extra key, cos you try to let everything look fine. not even a cookie
