Is there any concern over any new Warden type surprises when the bot returns to the functioning world of a soon to be new-er game?
Don't get it twisted I'm not suggesting I'd ever bot on an account I don't want to lose..
Or that I don't trust it so I won't use it..
I've never been much of a botter though so I'm curious is it usually in new expansions the new Anti methods roll out? The sort that no one knows about 'til they happen..or don't happen![]()
Now I start being a little impatientI saw how much they buffed guild rep and removed caps and I am in a hurry to have 3 toons leveling my 2nd guild. Even at low low levels you get extreme guild rep and you see the guild levels ding much faster. 3 accounts just leveling means really fast level to 25.
You bought a product, as either a stand-alone piece of software, or on the assumption that it was going to be updated safely with the current context of WoW.
Either way, you can rage all you like but the HB team are fulfilling their end of the deal. They are ensuring the relative safety of their player base, by ensuring that they continue to provide exceptional service. And if you bought a standalone piece of software then you are getting more than you have paid for.
On a personal note; please activate the servers so the impatient pricks can log on, inject, and get banned, just make sure that there's adequate warning so the normal people can realize that the week delay is for the good of the HB community. Alternatively, lock this thread so we don't have to see anymore whine from naive kids trying to preach about them having paid for a service bla bla bla.... Or just suspend their auth codes so the community gets a break.
Please excuse my rant, it isn't directed at all people who have contributed to this thread, just some.
Keep up the good work HB team, we appreciate you more than you know i promise.
we dont have a working version, as soon as we do, we will do a test release. but right now i can say what we have can and cannot do, because i simply do not no, but there was a lot that changed that is being worked on.You bought a product, as either a stand-alone piece of software, or on the assumption that it was going to be updated safely with the current context of WoW.

While personally, I'm not one for all the bashing people are doing to the staff here, I can't (and won't) shut them out.
We could have had a head start with updating during the beta, however we had been working on DB far more than we expected. Admittedly, we did enough updating during the beta to give us a pretty good idea of what we'd be looking at to update. We estimated about 2-3 days. Once we started getting into it, it turns out we were terribly wrong about that prediction. Blizz has done a lot of work this expansion, most of it is just changing a few things around, etc. I can say, 99% of this expansion, is content. Not much has actually changed in the game engine itself. However, what has changed is some of the stuff that we spent weeks (or months) figuring out, that we're trying to figure out all over again, all of this with very sparse documentation on our end to figure out where everything "belongs" to make life easier.
That said, once these last bits of tedious updates are finished, we'll quickly get the rest of the bot updated. Right now, we're roughly 80% finished updating the tedious bits. The rest should take us no more than a day or two to finish, and we'll have a test build out. (So you're looking at, at least 4 days or so before any sort of ETA can be given)
I do apologize for the wait, but we are the only bot to offer such an immense API, and all that goes along with it.
