Is there any concern over any new Warden type surprises when the bot returns to the functioning world of a soon to be new-er game?

Don't get it twisted I'm not suggesting I'd ever bot on an account I don't want to lose..

Or that I don't trust it so I won't use it..

I've never been much of a botter though so I'm curious is it usually in new expansions the new Anti methods roll out? The sort that no one knows about 'til they happen..or don't happen :-)

dude its as safe as befor they just patching honorbuddy to 5.0.4 warden suck as they could not get us

Honorbuddy's tripwire would shut everything down if any funny business slipped past it.

You bought a product, as either a stand-alone piece of software, or on the assumption that it was going to be updated safely with the current context of WoW.

Either way, you can rage all you like but the HB team are fulfilling their end of the deal. They are ensuring the relative safety of their player base, by ensuring that they continue to provide exceptional service. And if you bought a standalone piece of software then you are getting more than you have paid for.

On a personal note; please activate the servers so the impatient pricks can log on, inject, and get banned, just make sure that there's adequate warning so the normal people can realize that the week delay is for the good of the HB community. Alternatively, lock this thread so we don't have to see anymore whine from naive kids trying to preach about them having paid for a service bla bla bla.... Or just suspend their auth codes so the community gets a break.

Please excuse my rant, it isn't directed at all people who have contributed to this thread, just some.

Keep up the good work HB team, we appreciate you more than you know i promise.

Now I start being a little impatient :P I saw how much they buffed guild rep and removed caps and I am in a hurry to have 3 toons leveling my 2nd guild. Even at low low levels you get extreme guild rep and you see the guild levels ding much faster. 3 accounts just leveling means really fast level to 25.

how many guild xp do u get for one lvl 1-85 or how many chars do we have to level from 1-85 to level a guild from 1 to 25?^^

we dont have a working version, as soon as we do, we will do a test release. but right now i can say what we have can and cannot do, because i simply do not no, but there was a lot that changed that is being worked on.

Dont care how long it takes aslong as all is working with it and its safe tbh theres nothing to do till Mop hits anyway taking time to read up on all the class changes specs etc. Least it will give me time to figure out what char im going to lvl first in Mop and sort my guilds out as lots comeing back with the new patch so will get some recuting done and basically relax for abit.

Take ya time and do a good job is all i can say and keep up the great work Hb team and Cc devs

All the hate really needs to stop, both sides have valid points...
Yes HB is doing this to ensure safety.
Yes they could have got a head start using the beta release but did not, most likely so that if things were changed between beta and live they would not have to scrap all the work they did.
Yes, other popular bot programs are up and running fine because they got a head start on the beta.
Yes, some people are upset.
Yes, some people are going to defend.

Stop the name calling, telling people to get a gun. (I mean really? How childish is that.) HB will be release when it is done, no amount of complaining, crying, name calling is going to change that.

The people I feel sorry for, are the CC Developers who scrambled to get CC's made for the new Talents and released them the night of the patch "Wulf" for example with his CLU, and now everything is at a stand still.

Please people, act like adults, this is not High School.

Thanks.

I believe complaining and defending are legitimate pastimes for subscribers. Thanks for letting people blow off some steam here. We all know it will not change a thing.

I imagine at the start of new xpacs there has got to be alot of false positives going out by the system.

Please do NEVER EVER post Noxxic on this forum...this site is shit.
Go to Icy Veins!(Google)

at the time I-V didn't have any updated guides. and, after following my own advice, yeah, they are indeed terrible guides, and i don't know, it's just odd. guides used to be more reliable i guess.

after re-speccing 4 alts with dual specs, noxxic's general glyph/spec advice is kind of terrible for the most part. but so are most of the glyph/spec links.

since then, i've printed out about 14 I-V guides so far, just to help figure out the rotations on alts

Dear HB Team,

We love the work you do! Please don't let the stress or rude comments get to you! To everyone hating about the week offline, maybe it's time you took a break as well. If you're REALLY that upset about this, perhaps you need to reevaluate your life. This is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with the fun parts of Wow that made you want to play in the first place. Keep up the great work!

people who keep coming on forums and QQING making threads posting on this saying why isn't HB working.. and demanding it to be fixed with a snap... then wow I feel sorry for you, did you really expect coming on here moaning and you thought the devs would go like this *farts poops magical rainbows HONORBUDDY TEAM UNITE* "big explosion" *lots of magical colors* *bot fixed* lol then you're more retarded than I thought, why dont you understand MOP has changed in a big way, now honorbuddy is changing in a big way too, so if you expected to come on this forum and demand an update and expect this:

*farts poops magical rainbows HONORBUDDY TEAM UNITE* "big explosion" *lots of magical colors* *bot fixed*

then just wow the human race has gone to a whole new retard level thanks to people who keep moaning.

While personally, I'm not one for all the bashing people are doing to the staff here, I can't (and won't) shut them out.

We could have had a head start with updating during the beta, however we had been working on DB far more than we expected. Admittedly, we did enough updating during the beta to give us a pretty good idea of what we'd be looking at to update. We estimated about 2-3 days. Once we started getting into it, it turns out we were terribly wrong about that prediction. Blizz has done a lot of work this expansion, most of it is just changing a few things around, etc. I can say, 99% of this expansion, is content. Not much has actually changed in the game engine itself. However, what has changed is some of the stuff that we spent weeks (or months) figuring out, that we're trying to figure out all over again, all of this with very sparse documentation on our end to figure out where everything "belongs" to make life easier.

That said, once these last bits of tedious updates are finished, we'll quickly get the rest of the bot updated. Right now, we're roughly 80% finished updating the tedious bits. The rest should take us no more than a day or two to finish, and we'll have a test build out. (So you're looking at, at least 4 days or so before any sort of ETA can be given)

I do apologize for the wait, but we are the only bot to offer such an immense API, and all that goes along with it.

This is hilarious, and like every patch in the past, predictable. Bottom line is, you won't get an eta, you won't get an advanced warning when an update will be available. Only thing you can do is refresh your browser, and eventually you will see a new release. Until that time, all the bitching, complaining, praising, and begging will make no difference. I assure you, the Devs aren't even reading this to begin with, maybe a Mod, at best, fills them in on anything they should need to know.
